  2. This topic is no means for people 2 talk about their believes or lack of them. That would only start trouble. With the understanding that we all have different believes and and levels of spirituality, as a person who's song thru' many struggles, i really have wanted 2 see if other people would wanna have this post. Sometimes life is hard, and sometimes it's really hard. No matter what power we all believe is higher than us, the power of prayer is an amazing thing. Please be honest in your opinion. By no means do i want a fight 2 start or 4 people 2 be offended on this topic. If this idea is a "go," then i want those who don't actually want to be a part of it to just let the topic exist without starting problems. It the board dosen't feel that it's a good idea, then i totally respect that.
  3. I wanna see this. Bobby Brown is an original talent...love him or not. I've been hoping he'll fix up his life and get his career up and going again.
  4. The Magnificent waz released nationwide. U just can't find it in every store. Most places like FYE, Circuit City, and Borders have it....but u won't find it at places like Wal-Mart and Target. His next album will most likely be released the same way.
  5. Yeah, i'm hoping i can get a in a better financial situation so i can buy the album 4 my friends. I need 2 expose it 2 more friends 2 so i can intrest them in it. It's still on sale for $9.99 at Circuit City this week.
  6. If u own these albums, i'm sure u'll be okay 2 not hear them 4 a few days. It's just hard 2 believe that u have them when u are asking us 2 upload them. That's just not cool.
  7. Thanx 4 posting that. I've seen quite a few of these so i've been sleeping on them. I defintly plan on getting on soon...not sure if i'll get this one tho.'
  8. The only thing that would be funnier than u asking somebody 2 upload a JJ+FP album would be if any of us waz stupid enough 2 do it.
  9. Wow, that waz a short retirment. I'm glad he's coming back. He's one of the only gritty street emcee i love listening 2. He has yet 2 create an album as dope as his 1st one...i'm hoping he can find his way back 2 that. I hope he watches the way he's livin.' He reminds me of 2Pac in the sense of having a big heart, spirituality, and lots of street smarts, but keeps coming face 2 face with adversity.
  10. Grease (the movie soundtrack)...just watched the movie last nite.
  11. I'll kinda discribe them...and which ever one u think is what u should out 1st...u can go by reading my post. Radio and Bigger And Deffer at straight old skool. Walking With The Panther is late 80's style old skool. Mama Said Knock You Out is an early 90's kinda album. But honestly, i don't love the whole album as much as i love most of the early '90's Hip-Hop. It has some amazing trax...and some that are just straight rhyming..which isn't a bad thing. The stand out trax just really stand out. Marley Marl waz the mastermind of this album. 14 Shot To The Dome is mid-90's. He waz totally exhausted when he did this album, but it's one of my favs. "Pink Cookies..., Stand By Your Man, Diggy Down, etc. Mr. Smith waz his mid-90's come back. It's straight Hip-Hop and nearly every track is radio-ready. This album is Trackmasters at their best (tho' they didn't do the whole album). Phenomenon is a hodge-podge album. There's all kinds of stuff on this album. Slick commerical stuff, straight Hip-Hop, R-N-B soul, everything. G.O.A.T. is his gritty street album. Lost of masculine energy on the album. Lots of deep stuff mixed in some of the trax 2. 10 is his straight Hip-Hop comeback. If u like FP's solo work, this is slightly similar 2 it. The DEFinition is another radio ready album. Some of the trax are just a lil' under produced, but LL always comes correct with the lyrics and flow.
  12. She's just one of many old skoolers who who got some minor success then never came back. I don't think there's anything more 2 say about her other than that. She had her own album in 86/87.
  13. No offense, but i would pay not 2 see that concert.
  14. I just can't get in2 Ludaris. Some of his lyrics are funny...but can't say anything good other than that. I can't stand his voice and dirty south flow. Don't even bet my started on his production. After seeing him perform live, i knew everything i needed 2 know 2 form my opinion.
  15. There's no battle quality in saying things u could do (like the gun talk). It's just ignorant fools talking 2 me. I think it's embarassing with stuff like Jay-Z and Nas feuding. Espeically 50 Cent trying 2 fight everyone in the game. He's an idiot. Especially when it's obvious that it's just for sales. There really isn't any reason 4 people 2 feud. Battling, when done, should be strictly old skool. It waz the compitition that people were after. It waz the challenge aspect that made it entertaining. It's not like that anymore. People just wanna cuss each other out and say explict stuff. It's just mindless insulting. In the end, everybody just looks like a fool.
  16. Yeah, i knew it waz based off of "Roxanne Roxanne." I think it waz really cool the way he put the song 2gether.
  17. Wow! I'm just thinkin' about 50 Cent, G-Unit, Eminem, Ludacris, Lil' Jon, and all those other guys who make it on the charts being there and watching JJ+FP putting on a real show. They are all gonna realize they don't know the 1st thing about rockin' the mic. Sit down commerical rappers....Hip-Hop 101 class is in session. PROFESSOR 'PRINCE: This is a microphone. 50 CENT: ((Gasp)) Ludacris: Wow! EMINEM: I never seen a mic like thaaaat. PROFESSOR 'PRINCE: Will the Real Slim Shady Please shut up G-UNIT: ((Starts crying...in unison))
  18. EVERYTHING BUT THE GIRL - Mirrorball (DJ Jazzy Jeff Sole Full Remix)
  19. Man, Uncle Sam waz dope. He waz just a great R-N-B artist. And with Boyz II Men producing, singing, and writing on the album...it waz just a big event. I'd love 2 see him make a comeback, but i think that if he waz gonna try it....it would have happened by now.
  20. I wouldnt' want Nas doing more than one song with FP. He's cool...but he's not one of FP's potnas.
  21. DARLENE LOVE (Bob B. Soxx + The Blue Jeans) - Why Do Lovers Break Each Other's Hearts Takin' it real old skool....'60's old skool in fact.
