Yeah, about half of the movie goes in2 great depth about how he came 2 be Batman. The Scarecrow is the villian in this one, but he's not the main focus and he dosen't take on the actual comic book appearance of him either (other than the mask). I kinda wanted a lil' more comic book influence in that aspect.

I hate labeling and stereotyping. It's just silly. I watch BET regularly. In fact, when i turn on the TV, it's usually the 1st channel i go 2. BET is just a TV programming that related strongly 2 what you can call black culture. Think about it, it has music videos, comedy, news, etc...like any other network, it's just that all those things are focusing more on black entertainers. I think BET is actually one of the best networks on TV. It's one of the only stations i can watch EVERYTHING on it. A study waz done back in the 90's about which music-related channels where the most tasteful, and BET waz at the top, beating out MTV, VH-1, The Box, and whatever else there is. I know other white people who watch BET on a regular basis (who aren't fake gangstas...ha ha). Entertainment is entertainment....period. If u watch 106 + Park, u'll notice that tons of white people come 2 see the show now.

I saw it 2nite. It's a great movie. When the movie is over, it feels like u just got off a rollercoaster ride. I don't know if i like this one better than the 1989 Batman movie tho.'

No, they aren't gonna release a season of a music video show. Since it's they just aired music videos with interviews in between, they can't just put all that copyrighted stuff on a DVD. They should do some kinda release 4 the show loaded with hours of highlights and interviews. Yo! MTV Raps waz a big part of me growing up. Fab Five Freddie brought the substance, and Doctor Dre + Ed Lover were totally entertaining. It waz the show 2 watch 2 stay current on Hip-Hop and Rap. Every single weekend we'd get the fellaz 2gether and watch it all nite long.

Yeah, but look at the Fugges. Pras had 1 real hit...his new single hasn't been heard in the US at all. Lauryn Hill changed the game, then disappeared. Her live album didn't do much and even tho' she released a new video awhile ago, it never got played. While Wyclef dose consitently good, each of his albums have gotten less attention. I didn't even see a video 4 his most recent one. I'm glad 2 hear they are reuniting, but i'm wondering how long it's gonna take. A Tribe Called Quest 2. They released a new song last summer, but no news on them since. Phife's album flopped, Ali Shaheed's album is totally unknown, Lucy Pearl are making themselves out 2 be 1 hit wonders, and Q-Tip had success with his solo album, but his 2nd got shelved.

Jim, Wal-Mart definitly has the Will Smith featuring DJ Jazzy Jeff: Live In Concert DVD. Look around the front of the store where they have random displays. There will be a Hitch one with mostly the regular version, but they should have a bunch of double packs with the JJ+FP DVD packaged with it. If not, got 2 another location. U don't wanna not have this...TRUST ME!!

I don't think "Party Starter" is the best track on the album...but 4 promotional reasons, i think it's the perfect 2nd single and the perfect summertime single. "Tell My Why" is definitly a song 2 be released in the autumn. It's sound, it's vibe, it's subject matter just fits with that time of year. Assuming the next 2 singles do well, if FP wants 2 keep pushing the album, he could pretty much release whatever he wanted at that point. "Pump Ya Breaks" is definitly a good single choice. "Lost + Found" is what needs 2 hit radio and make a difference in Hip-Hop on a commerical note.

I've seen the commercial like 20 times in the past week. I laugh out loud every single time. It's just hilarious. Last nite i saw and it had a few seconds tacked on 2 the end that i never saw the other times. After it announces the dates it has FP and Jada sitting on the sofa, still all mad and FP yells "No BET in the house!"

They actually opened the set with "Brand New Funk"....that one guy mixed up the titles when reviewing it. I might do a more extensive review later...but the songs that come 2 mind are Brand New Funk, I Wanna Rock, Gettin' Jiggy Wit It, Miami, Tell Me Why, Switch, a slow verse from I Wish I Made That, Party Starter, and Summertime. After the credits, he come out and dose the "Willywood" freestyle verse.

Yeah, they need 2 get the one out 2 radio now so that when the video comes around, the hype has already begun.

DESTINY'S CHILD - Cater 2 U

The video waz number 1 again on 106 + Park. This should definitly keep some momentum behind the album, which better be ready 2 drop soon.

Yeah, The Writings On The Wall is flawless. Thier debut album waz great. But that 2nd one waz a monster. The production waz thick and so were the vocals. Survivor waz very commercial. A good album, but it didn't have anything on their previous albums. Destiny Fulfilled waz taking them back 2 real R-N-B music, tho' there wazn't really any upbeat trax on it. I waz thinkin' they were getting back 2 that thicker sound. I really hope they'll at least pop up on each other's albums or reunite in the future. p.s. a Spice Girl reunion sounds interesting. I thought their stuff waz brilliantly fun pop with a strong R-N-B twist 2 it.

FP is my favorite rapper...but when it comes 2 skillz, i think they are on the same level. They both write rhymes that cover all kinds of stuff, their flows are straight forward, and their production is usually consistently very good. They both know how 2 rock shows properly (which is a rare skillz 4 emcees/rappers these days). They are both great businessmen and got heatly movie careers on the side. Where one has strength, the other has a strength in another area. LL has been my 2nd favorite emcee for years and i've been fans of both of them since the mid-80's.

Lost + Found is doing a similar thing that Big Willie Style did. It never topped the charts, but the sales were constant and look how huge that album ended up being...and the rediculous sales.

The set is amazing!! This is exactly what u would expect from JJ+FP 2005. FP's skillz are on point the whole way thru'...he dosen't miss a beat. Jazzy Jeff, as always, killed it. He got alot of camera time in the 1st few joints, but then then kinda put his camera shine in the background. I got really made once or twice cuz he totally tore it up and they didn't have him on the screen at all. The light show is great, the breaks in between numbers were short and sweet, the outfit changes were were appropriate. It's just great...very well put 2gether. After such a rough week and a half, this show just put me at ease. I hope alot of people picked up the version of Hitch with the bonus DVD 2 drive record sales.

I think it's stupid when groups do this. As long as there is a fanbase, i think groups should occasionally do something 4 their fans even if it's just once in awhile. En Vouge, SWV, Jade, Blackgirl, 3LW, and countless other girl groups split and/or had 2 switch up members. I just think it's a pathetic shame. I like how Left Eye put it when people said TLC waz gonna break up during the FanMail era. She said even if things got that bad, they have fans who are loyal 2 them and that they would stay loyal back...besides, it waz good money. Yet another reason why i think TLC is the best all female group of all time.

ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT - Somewhere In North Georgia

I saw this news yesterday and it really disappointed me. I honestly didn't think they would split since they are all very down 2 earth people. I think all of their solo albums are good but they aren't as good as the DC albums. I think their chemistry and style is just great and it's really a shame they are splitting after this tour.

I just saw a rerun of 2day's 106 + Park...IT'S NUMBER 1!!! I'm really impressed. Usually the 106 audience puts that G-Unit and Mike Jones type trash 2 the top of the charts. I'm glad some quality music with actual subject matter is one the top at the moment.

I didn't really want 2 see this movie while it waz in theaters that much...but my friend wanted 2 see it so bad that they paid 4 my ticket...who can complain about that!?! Anyways, i did like this movie. It's defintily something creative and loaded with comedy and action.

MARY MARY - In The Morning

Well, today, after my dog collapsed, me and my family desided that it waz time 2 relieve him from his struggle. As painful as the whole thing is, there is a peace inside me that i never expected could be there...which lets me know the time was right. Since his condition wasn't going to get better, and his health waz slowly getting worse...which didn't drag down his spirits, we desided to end the pain. It is one of the most awful things i've been thru', but i'm very thankful for the 10 years i had him. In this time, i just ask for comfort for my family. Thank you in advance 2 anyone who keeps me and my family in their thoughts and prayers.
