  1. Rakim, no doubt. After all, FP mentions him in the track. Rakim fits right in on the track. LL needs 2 do a track with FP, but i don't think is the track 4 him. I think it's funny that so many people voted 4 Jay-Z...cuz on the real, Jay-Z fits some of the qualities that FP talks about when it comes 2 being lost.
  2. Yeah, it's either the funniest or 2nd funniest video they did. The performance shots and the story "shots" are just perfect. The colors, the vibe, everything about it is great.
  3. I LOVE gettin' singles. That's where u find most of the b-sides and remixes.
  4. Thanx 4 posting that. Every emcee on that list deserves props, tho' i'm not totally agreeing with the order. And anyone who wants 2 doubt Marky Mark's skillz should check his song "Don't Sleep" off The Big Hit soundtrack.
  5. so do u know exactly what track #9 is????? I have no idea, but he confirmed it waz a typo. I asked him about another item or 2 that he had up and he answered all my ?uestions in ways that dissapointed me. Who knows what those Hong Kong people are thinkin' when they put this stuff 2gether.
  6. Well, years ago, i DID do my research. Apparently whoever put 2gether a site on FP assumed he created that clothing line. Then another webmaster probably stole that assumption from that site and put it on theirs and it snowballed. But after the research i did 2day...u r right!! :thumb:
  7. I talked 2 the seller. It is a typo...so i'm backing out of the auction.
  8. Seconds after that pic waz taken, a huge way came in an sucked Tim 2 miles out in2 the ocean.
  9. I still don't believe it. 2 me, it sounds like Rakim was almost joking. Eric B. had a name b4 Rakim did. He already started building his name b4 Rakim came in2 the picture. I've got Eric B.'s solo album and the beats, while a lil' outdated for 1995, are reminiscent of the EB+RKM stuff. Eric B wrote all the lyrics with some co-writing from Freddie Foxx. I'd love 2 see this interview.
  10. It looks like they doubled up the album with 50 Cents!! Wow, that's really stupid!!
  11. Yeah, i totally 4got all about this. I stopped handing out with my friend around 9 and 4got why i wanted 2 go home...so i went 2 hang out with someone else and just got home...haha. They'll re-run it tho.' If someone finds out when it'll rerun, post it 4 me. Thanx in advance if someone finds out.
  12. For some reason, i just can't believe that.
  13. Man, i went ahead and bought this...as if i haven't spent enuff money in the last 2 weeks. I really hoping "Smary" is actually a song, but i have a feeling that it's one of those quirky misprints. I honestly don't think it's a song that's not on the album, but we'll find out. I have the double disc of Born To Reign which is basically this same album but it has the B2R trax instead of the L+F trax. The Hong Kong import of B2R dosen't even play in some of my CD players. Let's just hope this is actually a b-side cuz i just spent alot of money i shouldn't have.
  14. He's a big name in music videos. He probably has a website which has a list of his work. I know he did at least 1 other FP video. "Wild Wild West" i think.
  15. I'm gonna try 2 find my old post where i appointed myself as the video's director.
  16. Tim likes 2 do these as much as possible and post about it as a reminded that i need 2 get a new computer which will allow me 2 take part in that stuff. :hilarious:
  17. R u crazy?!? That shirt is kickin'. U gotta have personality 2 pull off a shirt like that. Besides, u gotta keep in mind that in the early/mid 90's when the label waz active, cloths like that were in style. Have u never watched a show called The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air? :kekeke:
  18. I gotta make sure iget home in tyme 4 this!!
  19. Well, here in the US, music stores are alot more that just music. Pretty much ever music store is now filled with DVDs, videos games, and goofy stuff like stand-up and crazy key chains.
  20. AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! THANK U!! This is the stuff i dream of coming across. Classic new pictures and a new interview...which is HILARIOUS!! After hearing so many of their interviews, i can hear exactly how this interview went in my head. This is one of the best things 2 hit the board in awhile.
  21. 2Pac waz attacking him 4 things done off wax. 2pac took Biggie under his wing and let him perform at his shows. Biggie waz part of that Thug Live movement (not the group), but when 2pac went 2 jail, that all changed. Biggie waz working with Bad Boy, Puffy changed his image (compare "Party And Bull$#!+" and Heavy D's "A Bunch of N!gg@z" to his Bad Boy stuff). He ditched 2Pac's Thug Live movement, then jacked the formula that Pac used on Me Against The World (talking about death and stuff he didn't have like money and girls). Biggie success put him on the same level that 2Pac waz at commercially but wazn't giving props 2 him. On top of that, 2Pac believed that when he got shot and checked 4 his jewely in NY, that Biggie new about it and kept telling him 2 watch out but never told him when it waz going 2 happen. Last year i watch a Biggie special on VH-1 and one of Biggie's friends or family said that when they met up backstage at an award show that Biggie stopped 2Pac (in the middle of all the beef) and waz like "what are you doing?" And 2Pac waz like "i gotta do what i gotta do, and this is getting us both more sales." I don't now if that's legit or not or a just a PR move. Either way, there it is in a nut shell. There is one Biggie line that pokes fun at the beef. Since i'm not a Biggie fan, i don't know what song it is (one of my friends back in the day had it) where Biggie had a line that said something like "if Faith has kids / it's probably 2Pac's."
  22. I think it waz just creative differences that pulled them apart. They were fighting their old label for back royalties and went 2 court 2gether a few months ago. I wish they'd do something 2gether again. I got Eric B.'s solo album from the late 90's...i didn't know he could rap...ha ha. The production wazn't bad but it waz a littled dated.
