  1. Jim, did u get his autograph? :hilarious:
  2. Yes he did!! We've talked about this b4. Will's clothing line Williewear waz out in the early/mid 90's...but it wazn't distributed in a big way.
  3. Sorry, i actually don't set my friends up with any of my girls. :hilarious: Right now i'm single, so if my ex dosen't come back 2 me, i need 2 keep my options open.
  4. I don't listen 2 either of them. But i've heard alot of people saying Jadakiss came out on top when it comes 2 their lil' immature feud.
  5. Easy..."Hit 'Em Up." That track is ill. He came so relentless...he ripped theentire Bad Boy camp effortlessly.
  6. Assuming these are like some of the things in my collection, here's what i can add... I'm looking for the one to be with me (promo) This probably is the version which has the same tracklisting as the US CD single, but instead of having "Get Hype" (the b-side), it has the instrumental in it's place. Boom shake! the room (UK CD1 7 track single inc. street mix) This is probably the US version that has the album version, the Street Remix, and the slightly re-worked Mr. Lee Remix, alone with the Street Remix Bonus Beats (aka instrumental). It also has "From Da South" (b-side) or the instrumental of "Boom!..." Summertime (4 track cd single) If this is from '91, it has the DJ Jazzy Jeff Remix on it along with a very shortened version of "Girls..." Boom shake! the room (1993 UK 2 track cassete single) This should have the b-side "From Da South" on it. Rock the house (12" original 1987 LP) Yeah, as long as this is from 1987, it's the original version with a different cover. It has a remixed version of "Girls..." a slightly altered version of "Rock The House" and different version of "Don't Even Try It." I'm looking for the one to be with me (single) If this is the US version, it has the b-side "Get Hyped" on it. It also has slightly altered versions of the track (the best being and extended version).
  7. Wes pretty much said everything i know. They wern't on Jive. I think they were more of JJ+FP Philly crew, i'm not sure. I do remember lookin' up info on them online years ago and other than the fact that El-Sid did and album (which i'm not sure if it waz released), that was it.
  8. No, that is part of his clothing line!! Every few months something pops up from the Williwear line. They put alot of cloths on ebay and discribe the style as something he'd wear on the show, which have nothing 2 do with him, but this shirt is actually from his old clothing line. If it wazn't that much money, i'd go 4 it. I'm known for being out of fashion. :hilarious:
  9. Ha ha...never thought he had an umbrella. The pictures were taken in the sunshine. FP is even squinting his eyes it's so bright. I doubt they needed an umbrella on that day.
  10. I haven't heard any news, but i'm dying 4 the new album. Basically him and Dre had creative differences and that project fell apart. I thought that Dre's work with Rakim would re-establish his image as a Hip-Hop legend...as opposed 2 the mockery he's making of himself working with G-Unit and Eminem. Rakim is still working on the album and he still wants Dre 2 do work on it. Either way, he needs 2 comeback and save Hip-Hop!! FP should do a remix of "Lost + Found" with Rakim on a verse!!
  11. I'm gonna say this. I've always hated Vanilla Ice. When he 1st came out and millions of people were diggin' him, i waz hatin'...ha ha. He waz just a huge MC Hammer rip-off. The fact that he waz white waz his biggest selling gimmick. When he got a lil' gangsta on his 2nd album, i clowned him all over again. Since then he dipped in2 a rock and stuff like that. The drug addiction, suicidal thoughts, and family problems weren't a jokin' matter, but it made me feel kinda sorry 4 him. However, when i waz watching Surreal Life (Season 2, which featured him), i actually thought he waz a cool guy. Years after he waz in the lime light, we got 2 see what's he's really about. I don't know if i'll support his music, but i won't diss him anymore. I saw the commercial 4 this VH-1 show and i'll definitly watch it. I thougth it waz hilarious when they tried 2 get him 2 do all this stuff and he kept saying no. It should be really entertaining.
  12. I think it will. If the song is a success at all, i think it will hit "black radio." Think about it, the topic is universal...it's bigger than Hip-Hop. Besides, the song is really good and Mary J. Blige is on it. I think it's a good single choice...even if i think summer is 2 early 4 it.
  13. ...same reason. :hilarious: Just playin'...his show is kinda funny. Conan O'Brien gets alot of B-level celebs while someone like Letterman gets mostly A-level celebs.
  14. I don't see why everyone makes such a bid deal about old skool style. I mean, most of us were alive back then, so the style shouldn't be that much of a 'shock.'
  15. MISSY 'MISDEMEANOR' ELLIOT + DA BRAT - Sock It 2 Me
  16. Japan always gets the bonus trax and remixes. Marketing overseas vs. prices and all kinds of other politics that i don't even know about are the reason 4 overseas bonus trax. Japan releases are always the rarest and most expensive. There is stuff released in Japan that we will never know about. That's just the way things are.
  17. I have a feeling the snippet of this track will be up soon. :wiggle:
  18. lambert, why do u always end up taking these posts 2 a level nobody wants 2 take them. People's opinions never bug me or start fights. Me and Tim talk about music, and why we love alot of the same things, we also don't have the same tastes when it comes 2 certain artists. However, we respect each others opinions and never challenge each other. However, u come in here laughing off everything i say, but never prove me wrong. If u can tell my how Loyal To The Game stands up 2 his first 4 or 5 albums, i'll respect it. If u can tell me how Eminem and G-Unit fit in2 the same category has Method Man, Redman, Mac Mall, E-40, and so on, then i'll consider your reasoning behind thinking Loyal To The Game is something 2pac would actually put out. Instead of laughing at the knowledge i'm dropping, why don't u try 2 prove it wrong. Cuz so far, u are talking big but u aren't saying anything. This has been how u come at people 4 months, yet u never show u have a true respect 4 Hip-Hop or any knowledge on it's true history. I'm sick of wasting seconds of my life to tell u that u are a fool.
  19. Yeah, this Mike Jones guy is another dime a dozen. He's doing the same crap all the other untalented guys on the rap charts are doing.
  20. AMERIE's album is really good. Her voice is flawless. The production waz handled mostly by the guy who did her 1st album. However, i waz wanting some straight R-N-B in it's simplest form, like her 1st album. But the tighter production isn't a bad thing, infact, most people probably will love it. She dose have some real nice slower ones ad the end. BOBBY VALENTINO's album is amazing. If u wanna compare him 2 any one, he's kinda like Ginuwine, 112, and Mario Winans. The production is incredible!!! And the lyrics take u 2 a place not many artists can take u. I can ONLY say good things about this album. Another album i 4got 2 mention is FRANKIE J's. I honestly didn't think i'd like his album. I thought the production and his vocals would be weak. But since i love "Obsession" and "Suga Suga", the 1st week sale price waz the only inspiration i needed. However, this album is dope. I waz so wrong, the production, lyrics, and Frankie J's vocals are all on point. Oh yeah, Destiny's Child's new album has been kinda slept on, but it's really good. It's good seeing "Girl" on BET all the time.
  21. What documentary was it? It wouldn't surprise me if the info waz a mistake. They were probably talking about the album by the other Jazzy Jeff. Jazzy never did a solo album b4 JJ+FP.
