  1. No way...It's Coko from SWV. Where did u hear/read that?
  2. Where did y'all get 13 from? Last time i checked his profile, it said he waz board in 1902. :hilarious: Since he's affliated with FP, i'm sure he's not 13. His posts would sound different if he waz 13.
  3. AKON - Mr. Lonely I just picked up his album cuz it's on sale for $7.99 at Circuit City (thru' 2morrow). I just wanted "Mr. Lonely"...but the whole album is dope. I'm impressed.
  4. Rakim dose have some party trax, they just aren't like party-pop styled trax like "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It." He dose them in his laidback style. He isn't my favorite emcee (tho he's one of my top favs) but he is the best. Tons of artists have bit lines from his songs cuz he's stuff is so legendary. FP has said that Rakim is the only person he would never wanna get in a freestyle battle with. He's said that nobody could ever touch Rakim. 2 get a very general bio on him, listen 2 that track on Nas' new album. He had a track dedicated 2 him as a tribute. It talks about how he came up and changed the face of Hip-Hop 4ever.
  5. That's what they already started doing. All those albums released after 1998's Greatest Hits had a few of his REAL trax, but the rest were filler trax he just recorded while on Deathrow 2 fulfill his contract 2 get off the label. Those tracks are the ones that are easily forgetable and dont' lyrically have what 2Pac is best known for. Trax like Better Dayz, Uncondisional Love, Until The End of Time, Never Call U B!+ch Again, and Ghetto Gospel are what 2Pac is really about.
  6. He dosen't need 2 do sequels 2 any of his movies. Hardly any of them would make sense 2 do sequels 2. Bad Boys 3 and MIIIB would be the only ones that seem likely 2 me. I'd love 2 see sequels 2 them as long as the script and movie is good.
  7. I'm used 2 the average to bad reviews. People dosen't speak 2 people like me so i could care less. U'll never catch me saying 2 a friend "Yo, did u cop that new issue of People?" :hilarious:
  8. Over the years, i've started 2 think the track is fine the way it is. I don't really care if it's longer. I like a few trax on Born To Reign better than it. I just think that something is messing from the production. It might be the way it's mixed, but something just isn't there. The fact that the rest of the album dosen't support it dosen't help either.
  9. These are actually kinda old. I remember the 1st time i came across them, i just thought to myself. "Wow, this person has alot of free time on their hands."
  10. Rakim is ONLY the best emcee 2 ever touch a mic. He has 2 solo albums, The 18th Letter and The Master. He's mostly well-known for work as part of Eric B. + Rakim.
  11. Then u need 2 get JJ+FP: Summertime And Other Hits. The whole video is based around the making of "Summertime" with all their videos up thru' "Summertime" on it as well.
  12. I agree, 2 many boards spreads everything 2 thin. I like the reworked boards better.
  13. I haven't heard it yet. I just know the album is gonna drop in July. I wouldn't mind hearing the track but what i'm really waiting 4 is Common Sense's new album.
  14. Yeah, it waz just one page, but i waz so hyped that someone on the web had the same interest i had. The internet waz very different back in 1997. I think i e-mailed him 2. I wonder whatever happened 2 him, he should be posting here!!
  15. Man, u really need 2 see the others. The second one took it 2 a new level and the 3rd one kinda had them growing up. Great movies. The 2nd and 3rd soundtrack are really good 2. The House Party 3 soundtrack is 2 Kid 'N Play what Code Red is 2 JJ+FP. The 4th House Party movie isn't nearly as good as the 1st ones, but i think it's still worth seeing. After all, Immature waz in the 3rd one....and Imx waz in the 4th...ha ha. It's kinda like a watered down House Party movie mixed in with Farris Buler's Day Off (sp?). The Imx music video is probably the best part of it. The soundtrack would have been great, but it waz never released. However, House Party 4 waz just the beginning of movies that came from the same team who put 2gether You Got Served, one of my favorite modern movies.
  16. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air soundtrack dosen't really have songs from the show. It's really just a dope mixtape of the best Hip-Hop + R-N-B from that era in time (1990-1992). Here's the tracklisting. 1. JJ+FP - Yo! Home To Bel-Air (Remix) 2. Joe Public - Live And Learn 3. Bobby Brown - My Prerogative 4. R. Kelly + Public Announcement - She's Got That Vibe 5. JJ+FP - Summertime 6. Del Tha Funkee Homosapien - Mistadobalina 7. Salt 'N' Pepa - Start Me Up 8. JJ+FP - Ring My Bell (Mr. Lee Remix) 9. Guy - Her 10. Tevin Campbell - Strawberry Letter 23 11. Young Disciples - Apparently Nothin' 12. House of Pain - Jump Around 13. De La Soul - Ring Ring Ring (Ha Ha Hey) 14. Hi-Five - She's Playing Hard To Get 15. JJ+FP - The Things That U Do (Remix) 16. Cookie Crew - Brother Like Sister 17. Jodeci - Come And Talk To Me 18. Color Me Badd - Adore Me Amor Those are honestly some of my favorite songs of all time. The only songs i wazn't familiar with when i got it waz the ones by Young Disciples and Cookie Crew. A few references 2 the show could be that there waz that line in one show that FP says "he's the guy that revealed the Color Me Badd waz white"...ha ha. And that Tevin Campbell played Lil' T on that episode where he goes out on a date with Ashley. The soundtrack waz only released somewhere overseas by Jive back in 1992. The album cover has a pic from the 1st season of the whole family. It also says "FEATURING: DJ Jazzy Jeff + The Fresh Prince" but "Fresh Prince" is also tacked on 2 "of Bel-Air." Inside the insert is the famous pic of FP in yellow and pink geat posing in a chair with Geffory pouring tea from a kettle in2 a sports/water bottle that says "Fresh Prince" on it. The back cover of the insert has a pic of FP jumping with a basketball in front of a multi-colored backdrop (very early 90's). The back cover has the tracklisting and a small pic of JJ+FP from the Homebase photoshoot. It's cool 2 see the ultra bright shoes and socks they are wearing that match their jackets. The pic is hilarious, FP is holding a basketball away from Jazzy, who is posed in a really rediculous way 2 block him, with his hands way up in the air. This CD is pretty rare but not impossible 2 come across.
  17. HA HA!!! That pix is hilarious!! Is that pic related 2 the Kool Moe Dee book/movie?
  18. Dope pix....So Fresh 2005!! Can someone put those pix in this site's gallery? For some reason i can't access taht page. I'm having all kinds of computer problems lately.
  19. Jive really needs 2 re release the Greatest Hits video. And this time they need include the video for "The Things U Do."
  20. The original version of it isn't even on the 1987 release of Rock The House. The Oakenfold & Laidly Remix is on the original release of Rock The House. The original version of "Girls..." is ONLY on the original 1986 12" single and on a Mr. Magic album from back in the day.
  21. I'm sure u guys will still get it when u find it and the price is right....right?
  22. I honestly don't remember when i started coming hear. I remember getting online back in 1997 and finding a JJ+FP website. I'm pretty sure it wazn't Tim's tho.' It waz one that someone else put 2gether (which hasn't been online 4 a long time). I remember getting hyped when i saw that they updated when he dropped the "Men In Black" video, i think that waz the same time i came across this site.
