  1. ...and if we find out that u aren't...we ban u. :hilarious:
  2. Jadakiss is pretty wack...but i would never say 50 Cent is better than him. What has 50 Cent said that waz true that waz actually a good diss?
  3. Man, what is up with DMX?!? When it comes 2 gritty street Hip-Hop, i think DMX is the personification of what that kinda music should be. Not everyone likes him, but i think he's brilliant. It kills me tho,' cuz he's a very positive and intellegent person, but he dose something crazy every year or so. It's kinda like 2Pac, u see him mess up or something would happen 2 him and u are just like "why?"
  4. That's dope. Nothing feels better than hearing one of your favorite artists' songs in a store...especially when it's not even a single. The last time that happened waz when i went in2 Finish Line 2 years ago and they were playing TLC "Dirty Dirty."
  5. This song has been on my mind alot 4 the last week. I'm really hopin' it drops soon. Hopefully it'll pop up on those Reggae Gold albums that drop every summer. I usually pick them up so it'll be getting 2 birds with one stone.
  6. Girls Ain't Nothing But Trouble (Original 1986 12") Word 2 (feat New Kids on The Block) Rock The House (Japan 1996 re-release w/ "Girls..." Instrumental Yo! Home To Bel-Air (Import 12" featuring the Summertime Mix) Yo! Home To Bel-Air (CD single) When The Radio Is On (CD promo) I Sleep Much Better (In Someone Elese's Bed) CD Promo Avex The Album (Japan only feat. Family Christmas) The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Soundtrack Just The Two of Us (Brazil CD single with Love To Infinity remixes) Greatest Hits (Japan Import w/ Don't Fight The Feeling) :::forget the title::: (12" from 1999 featuring a track Jeff scratches on 4 an underground Philly emcee) La Fiesta (Spain CD promo) Before The Willennium (Japan Import w/ rare Boom!...remix) Break It Down (12" promo) Born To Reign (China double disc release) Lost + Found (Japan release with "Chosen One" Various JJ+FP bootlegs and DJ Jazzy Jeff radio sets.
  7. Nas' "One Mic" is an incredible song. One of my favorite songs by him and even off the 2000's. I think what sets "Tell Me Why" apart from it is FP's storytelling approach. Nas comes off kinda political, which isn't a bad thing, but FP is coming from his heart. Jadakiss' "Why" is a joke. No offense 2 anyone who likes him or his song, but that song falls flat on his face. Jadakiss has never spit anything deep and even when he tries, it just isn't believable. It waz totally a PR move 2 get sales...or considered part of community service.
  8. FP has said in an interview or 2 that "Tell Me Why" is gonna be the next single. I personally think he should drop something like "Party Starter" for the summertime. Then drop "Tell Me Why" in September. However, there is that really old news that there is a video for a remix of "Switch," and the Reggae Remix promo CD for it waz recently released....who' knows. I think the remix is release is a good idea. I think FP's main logic with releasing "Tell Me Why" next is that it is one of the best songs he's ever done. It would be hard 4 anyone 2 not like this song. I think he knows that he only has so many chances 2 get a hit on his hand and maybe he dosen't wanna waist any time. We gotta remember that Black Eyed Peas "Where Is The Love" turned in2 a huge hit and it waz the 1st release off Elephunk and it waz released in the summertime. We'll see how this all plays out.
  9. Actually, DJ Jazzy Jeff produced "Here He Comes." He scratches on "Pump Ya Breaks" (the track with Snoop) and "If U Can't Dance (Slide)."
  10. I think i may be the only one who really likes LFO, but outside of Hip-Hop and R-N-B, they are my favorite group. The way they merged Hip-Hop, R-N-B, Pop, and Rock waz just genious 2 me. Their different styles all mixed up in2 1 group, and most importantly, the lyrics 2 their songs just speak 2 me. Anyways, Rich recently found out that he has a rare form of cancer that forms in bone marrow. He's in good spirits, but with any situation like this, thoughts and prayers are needed. As a huge fan of his, i just wanted 2 post this 4 those who have faith. I've talked 2 him before on the internet and really support him. Just wanted 2 share. Here's the MTV article... http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1500203/2...?headlines=true The news is also mentioned on his official site... http://www.RichCronin.com
  11. I think that the 2nd part is probably from another unreleased track. He's just got the flow way 2 under control. After all, if i wouldn't have posted about "Chosen One" a week ago, everyone would say the whole thing waz a freestyle. Anyways, "freestyle" has multiple definitions. The general meaning of freestyle is someone rappin' off the top of their head. However, rapping anything pre-written over another beat (like FP has done with "Here He Comes" and "Chosen One") can also be considered a freestyle.
  12. Yeah, i gotta admit, that waz a really stupid ?uestion since this board is a part of a website with all that info. U can find it on the JJ+FP album Homebase, Greatest Hits, and on FP's Greatest Hits album.
  13. I guess this makes the official Unofficial site. :clap3:
  14. :tear: I've been dying 2 hear this since last nite...and of course my computer isn't downlaoding MP3s correctly!! :tear: By the way, dose someone have the ENTIRE interview FP did with him in Feb in MP3 format?
  15. Before i check this out...would this be the Miami Mix feat. Miami Sound Machine or one of the Jason Nevins remixes?
  16. I think males in general use the term. It's not a black/white thing. No offense, but stupid ?uestion.
  17. U obviously haven't been around in awhile. JJ+FP is all over the place. And funniest thing, L+F isn't a JJ+FP album at all. Jeff's barely on it. But they are doing shows and TV spots left and right. If L+F dose well, i think a full JJ+FP reunion could be possible.
  18. I used 2 hate NSYNC with a passion, but now that the whole boyband/pop music explosion is over, all the stuff from that era doesn't bug me so much. Justin's music isn't my favorite, but i actually like alot of. I wouldn't mind if they worked 2gether, but i don't really want them 2. If he's gonna collaborate with someone, there's 100 other people i'd put in front of Justin Timberlake.
  19. Yeah, the Rodney Jerkins Remix of "Just The Two of Us" is a great remix. The production is great and Brian McKnight takes the song 2 a whole new level. The remix waz done in 1998, it's on the US version of the single. It popped up later on other singles overseas.
  20. I can't even try 2 answer this. I can give u a list of 30 albums that believe deserve the title tho.'
  21. Yeah, very old news. The original version of this news waz from 1998. De La Soul did 2 a track with DJ Jazzy Jeff tho.' It's on King Britt's album Sylk 130.
  22. I think the reason he's using commercial rap artists beats in performances is 2 show that he can hang with the guys who are on the charts. He's just showing that his ear has been tuned 2 what's hot and that he can do the same they are doing...HIS WAY. It's a way 2 drag in people who normally wouldn't pay attention 2 his stuff 2. If someone is a 50 Cent fan and dosen't really listen 2 FP, they might hear him rocking over 50's beat and that'll spark an interest in them. That's just my guess.
  23. I think this post is the perfect example of how JJ+FP reaches out 2 people of all walks of life. All ages, backgrounds, races, etc. And the cool thing is, 4 the most part, we all just vibe with each other. I've known Wes 4 a long time and i never felt that there waz a real age gap between us...of course he's quick 2 point that out in this post. :cwm:
