  1. Here some pix of my collection from early 2001. There's a list of my collection as well. I don't think that's been updated since 2002. Check it out at... www.geocities.com/willsmithsfans/aj.html
  2. I think Wu-Tang made some good stuff when they 1st came out. I haven't followed much of their stuff since their 1st album. I think my brother has all their albums. Other than their early stuff, i just couldn't get in 2 'em that much. Their cool, just not my thing. Their solo records were very good, from what i've heard. 2 or 3 of them seemed 2 have solid solo projects, but again, not my usual stuff.
  3. Ha ha....Suge dosen't even have that much money probably. Think about it, Deathrow has been dead for almost 10 years. Think about all the legal problems he has on a regular basis. It just still be holding alot of drug money, cuz he isn't making money of Deathrow. Hardly any 2Pac fans even picked up their wack 2Pac remix and live albums they've put out in the last 2 years.
  4. That is the version of Rock The House i've been trying 2 find 4ever!! Very nice collection!!
  5. Thanx 4 the shout!! This community is definitly about team work. Each of the regulars and even semi-regulars bring flava 2 the board. Whether it's newz, MP3s, remixes, exclusive info, reviews, etc....everyone has their part. This place wouldn't be the same without everyone who is involved. On a slightly related note, old skool Sony Will Smith message board fan, Shada picked up Lost & Found 2day. She said she loves the new album. 2 or 3 of u probably remember her.
  6. I would say Willennium waz where they were 2gether and stronger than ever (since Code Red). DJ Jazzy Jeff produced and co-produced more than half of the album and scratched on more than half of the album. He waz in all 3 videos as well. Not 2 mention the album being executively produced by DJ Jazzy Jeff + Fresh Prince. Lost & Found has a few JJ+FP moments, but the album is really about FP claiming his place in Hip-Hop and showing the non-believers where he stands. I'm hoping the success of this album will be big and that their tour is very successful. Hopefully all the time 2gether and success will lead 2 a real JJ+FP album.
  7. The "Switch (Reggae Remix)" featuring Elephant Man should be hitting the radio sometime soon. Interscope just put out a promotional single for it (also featuring the Acappella Version and Instrumental). I got a copy of it on the way 2 me in the mail!!
  8. FP loves 2 put Jeff's name on his stuff. I think that if he did those scratches, his name would be in the credits. I waz listenin' 2 a track or 2 that had scratches on it 2day, not crediting Jeff. One of them didn't sound like Jeff's style. The other sounded kinda like Jeff, but not totally. I waz thinkin' about posting on Jazzy's board and asking. Now that i see this post, i will.
  9. Before The Willennium is a JJ+FP compilation album that came out shortly after Willennium. Half of the trax are hit singles, the other half is album music. There's nothing new on this album, just a unique picture on the CD cover. There's actually 2 or 3 different covers 2 it tho.' It's cheap, but really nothing new here. Don't get it unless u already have JJ+FP's Greatest Hits and JJ+FP's Platnium + Gold Collection. U should even get Will Smith's Greatest Hits b4 getting this one.
  10. Thanx 4 posting that!! Oh, and i think he says "walked right past he." I'm still not updated on why he mentioned Larry Elder. Someone fill me in.
  11. Ahhh...good song!! "Cater 2 U" waz supposed 2 be the 3rd single, but i never heard it on the radio or saw a video. Did they give up on it? Anyways, jammin' 2... FRESH PRINCE - Could U Love Me
  12. Do you think its the same Michelle as Will mentions on I Loved You "With Michelle, One Of Your Freak Friends..." I waz also wondering if there waz a connection there.
  13. U just saved yourself from a message board beat down. :kekeke: Good luck on getting the album soon and welcome 2 the board!!
  14. I can't believe so many people have voted for Lost + Found!! I'm thinkin' alot of those votes are the new people (not that there's anything wrong with that). I'm not counting the JJ+FP albums, but i'd go with Willennium when it comes 2 solo albums.
  15. I voted for "I'm Comin.'" I think "Y'all Know" is a great, straight rap track 2 open an album...but it waz missing just a touch of magic 2 open the album. "I'm Comin'" is an aggressive track and totally fits Willennium. I had problems with "Born To Reign." The lyrics were dope, but they didn't set u up 4 the rest of the album at all. It sounds really outta place. The beat is dope, but they could have made it alot better in the mixing process. Some sounds/instruments needed 2 be higher and others lower. If Jazzy mixed the track, it would have fixed that problem. "Here He Comes" is cool, but i waz disappointed that Jeff produced it and that it came out the way it did. It's just kinda average 4 a Jazzy Jeff track. When u have it blasting in a good stereo, it sounds really good tho.' I also don't think this track sets u up 4 the whole album properly. That' dosen't mean i don't like the track tho.'
  16. I didn't think i'd find it this fast, but i found a promo in the UK featuring "We Won't" and "Coming To The Stage." It's on it's way 2 me now and i'm hoping 2 have it no later than a week from now!! Just wanted 2 share!!
  17. MTV's VIDEO WAKE...which just aired ALICIA KEYS - Karma JOHN LEGEND - Ordinary People Talk about great music back 2 back!!
  18. Yeah, i've seen the new video. It's great. I'm so happy he went back 2 his regular sound (Electric Circus is very Born To Reignish...ha ha). I definitly planned on picking up this album shortly after it drops. I hope all those trax don't sound like Kanye West's stuff...that would play itself out a bit. I'll take Jay Dee over Kanye West anyday. I'll let the music speak 4 itself tho.'
  19. :kekeke: I'm gonna try and see it this week again. I think this will be his last week it'll be at the main theater in my area (which is nicer than all the others in the area)....so it's not done making money yet.
  20. I haven't checked out their Lyrics page yet, but they probably got the lyrics straight from FP. What he wrote vs. what he actually ended up putting on the track may have changed.
  21. I think "Lost + Found" would be a dope single/video when it comes 2 what people NEED 2 hear, but i think other songs on the album are more of what people will WANT 2 hear.
  22. I definitly like Snoop's stuff. I've been a fan of his since he 1st came out (even tho' i don't have half of his albums). However, i don't think their chemistry is that impressive. Good song, but there are a handful of other emcees who would have had better chemistry with FP. I think with the way the song is, FP should have done it alone. Oh yeah, and 2 correct something said on the 1st page, Snoop Dogg quit smoking weed years ago. He still talks about it, but if u read interviews and listen 2 his more serious trax like on Gang Starr's last album, he talks about quiting and feeling good about doing it.
  23. Ha...wack review. Oh well. If this guy has a public e-mail, someone post it.
  24. Jim, u payed $13 for it? Since i'm getting the import version ASAP, i think i'll get over not having the download. Besides, i payed less money. :kekeke:
