I actually like Foxy Brown. Have u heard LL Cool J's "I Shot Ya" remix? She can write some ill stuff and spit a crazy verse. I loved her 1st album. But then 1999's Chyna Doll waz pretty bad, it reminded me of Lil' Kim's stuff. She changed her flow (which waz awful) and half of the songs just didn't mean much 2 me. People always put her and Lil' Kim against each other which made most people throw them in the same category. Her 2001 Broken Silence album waz a step back in the right direction.

Hmm well maybe someone good at finding stuff should try to search for it *stares at AJ* :kekeke: :hilarious: U don't think i've tried finding it already?? I just don't think it's likely, but i'm always looking 4 stuff.

Where someone thinks and artist is good or bad is someone's opinion. But whether an artist is Hip-Hop is not someone's opinion. Can u say that some who thinks 2+2=5 has an opinion...or do u say they are wrong. I think Lil' Kim's music sucks. That's my opinion. Some people like her, that's their opinion. Lil' Kim is NOT Hip-Hop....that's fact. Since when did she ever write anything relevant 2 Hip-Hop culture. When i wanna hear about Hip-Hop, i'll listen 2 Fresh Prince. When i wanna hear some ho brag about making a Sprite can disappear in her mouth, i'll listen 2 Lil' Kim.

Yet Another Completely Random Question
JumpinJack AJ replied to scyhigh99's topic in Caught in the Middle
I'ma say "NO" becuz magic isn't real and Albert Einstein is (was). -
Non-musical silence is not a song, people! The tracklisting that has that on it is saying that there is a track of silence between 2 of the songs.
-
I think it's becuz his music sucks. :wiggle:

bagotrasho, i hate 2 say it, but i don't believe u. If it dose exist, they legally can't air that stuff due 2 legal mess. It's not like the video waz banned. On top of that, if it dose exist, it wouldn't be accessable 4 people air it on specials like that.

Going back 2 the remix (the snippet Tim posted awhile ago), i can see why some would compare him 2 Justin Timberlake. I still think they have totally different vibes and a definit difference in their voices.

That's awful. I send my prayers out 2 the family.

R-N-B new cats N2U are releasing their album "Issues" as well. There following isn't gonna make that much of an impact tho.' I don't think any of those artists has a whole bunch of momentum behind them at the moment so it'll be a dull yet interesting compitition 4 who sells the most.

There isnt' much of a buzz for Lost + Found. I'm trying 2 get my friends interested. I'm pretty sure one of my friends is gonna pick up the album, but i'm not sure if he's gettin' it the 1st week it drops. The sooner he hears my copy of it, the sooner he'll get it.

What's your deal!? That's the stupidest thing i ever heard. I don't have a Best Buy close 2 where i live, but when they had the special version of Born To Reign featuring "Nothing On My Mind," u better believe i drove half an hour 2 the closest Best Buy 2 go get it. I waz really sick that day 2!! Why settle 4 less? U act like half an hour is a huge sacrafice.

Later on there will be another WS greatest hit collection. It probably won't be 4 a few years. I'm sure FP can rig it so that he can get all his solo work on one CD and DVD.

Yeah, Timbaland sampled the Spider-Man theme for the 1st single off his 1998 solo album. The track also featured Missy and Magoo. I have the album, which is dope, but i 4get the title of the song. On that same album, there's a song where he samples the "I Dream of Genie" theme (Girls Ain't Nothing But Trouble style).

"Tell Me Why" is the only song i've allowed myself 2 hear from Lost + Found since the leak. Mostly becuz i knew about the song since the summer of 2003 and becuz i feel the song would be bigger than the album...and even bigger than Hip-Hop, which it is. Anyways, i'm addicted 2 the song. Partly cuz it's the only full song i've allowed myself 2 check out, and partly becuz it's one of the best songs ever recorded anyways. Everytime i hear, i see the video in my head...and here it is. The intro, featuring only the strings, opens 2 a black screen with cinamatic credits such as "Tell Me Why, Will Smith, Mary J. Blige," and so on. As the beat drops, an image of FP, walking urban streets in casual street gear (Code Red style boots, jeans, Phillies jersey, winter coat, hat cocked 2 the side) comes up. These various shots don't featuring him rapping the hook. Just a serious, in-thought look on his face. The 1st verse is very easy 2 imagin. It's simply the visual of what he's rapping about. They can throw in a few of those urban street scenes 2 make it look as if he's looking back on that day. When he mentions seeing the news on TV, they should show some shocking and popular images of that day on a TV screen in the background. Possibly a close up of the TV screen with a reflection of FP's reaction also visable. When it comes the line where he mentions his son praying 4 the victims, they should have a shot of FP standing outside of Trey's doorway, with the focus on Trey, on his knees praying. As the hook/chorus starts up again, they can go back 2 more urban street scenes. This would be where they show the 1st glimpse of Mary J. in a similar scene (street cloths, walking urban streets. She can be lipping the words tho.' When Mary J's verse comes, i see her on a rooftop, New York style, pouring her soul out. FP's 2nd verse should be a montoge of him spitting the verse, but with the most focus being on news footage of all the events he mentions. Then can have scrolling newspaper titles appearing and disappearing all over the screen. When he mentions Jam Master Jay, i'd like 2 see a short shot of FP spitting the verse with Run and D at each side. The hook/chorus goes back 2 scenes of FP and Mary J walking the streets...not 2gether tho.' Lastly, when the music dramatically stops, it cuts 2 a close of up FP rapping acapella. When the beat drops, the camera pans out seeing that FP is in a church pugh (sp?), holding Willow, Jada and Trey sitting beside him. As u see more of the congrogation, maybe some of his close friends can be at the service as well. As the end of the verse approaches, i see the camera still panning away with FP and his family in the background, but now the focus is on Jaden. Who drops 2 his knees and prays in front of the entire church on "Sweetie, u be the light for others / make 'em believe in God." The camera dose a cinamatic spin around Jaden as it backs up, revealing Mary J. Blige in front of a choir singing the last chorus. I also see Rev Run running things in this shot. As the music abrutly fades, the pictures goes 2 black and "Tell Me Why" appears on the screen, then fades.
