Was their any news on exactly how ODB passed away? I never heard anything and i've been wondering for months.

FP cleverly insults the commercial rap of 2day but never dose it by name. I don't think anyone here is gonna believe this post unless there's a legit source.

I think the hype around the single and the album is a bit weak period....not just in certain countries. As fans, we read all the news a see it's chart positions, but i havn't seen the video on TV since the week it came out. I've never heard the song on the radio. One one person i know has heard "Switch." Interscope hasn't impressed me at all...they haven't done anything that any other record company would do.

I'm watching BET Nightly News right now and they are talking about the situation. They are saying how the FBI and Federal Government are watching all the Rap acts and their behavior and look like they want 2 make an example out of her. I will agree that 20 years is 2 much for perjury. That's just stupid. One thing that made me laugh is that they credited Little Cease as a member of Junior M.A.F.I.A. JM hasn't released a studio album in 10 years. They were one of the worst groups ever. The only good song they had waz "I Need You Tonight" featuring Aaliyah. Their music waz pure trash. I saw their greatest hits album that waz released last year in stores and it made me laugh. How u can u release one studio album then have a greatest hits album about 10 years later?!?

This is why i think it's important 2 hold it down on FP's message board...cuz the real fans who show up there will find their way over here. The more the merryer. I remember when there used 2 be only 3 or 4 new posts each week here. Look what's it's grown in2!! Most of that growth has happened in the past 5 to 6 years. Props 2 Tim 4 this outlet and props 2 the people who have stuck around since the early days.

I don't think it's sad 4 Hip-Hop cuz Lil' Kim has nothing 2 do with Hip-Hop.

FP may do some producing and some sitcom cameos, but he's not going back 2 TV quite yet. I can see him going back 2 it when his music career slows down alot and he gets 2 an age when it stops doing so many action/sci-fi type movies...but not anytime soon. I definitly don't think he'll ever do a spin-off 2 FPofBA...that's got "BAD IDEA" written all over it. He loved the show so much that he ended it on a stong note. Why would he go back and ruin it's legacy by doing something like that??

No, don't get me wrong, the music on it is good...i just don't think it blends as an album. I wouldn't mind seeing a 2 disc version of it. The 1st disc featuring those oldie-but-goodies by The O'Jays, Earth, Wind, + Fire, The Temptations, going up the whole way thru' Heavy D + The Boyz "Now That We Found Love." Then the 2nd disc can feature all the new music by Amerie, E,W,F feat. Kelly Rowland + Sleepy Brown, John Legend...and even the updated music they left off like Usher's "Yeah." Alot of good music in the movie. Definitly helps set the vibe 4 it.

Why on earth would u pay 99 cents for a song when u can buy the album and get the real thing for basically 99 cents a song, along with real sound quality, along with the liner notes and rare pix. Bottom line, the album is better quality 4 your buy, and counts as a true sale for the fellaz.

Man, people celebrate how many posts they've made alot. When i see how many i've made, i think about all the time i've lost when i could have been doing something productive in life. :cwm:

I think Lil' Kim is pretty gross. I think a few of her songs are alright, like "Ladies Night" (only cuz Left Eye, Da Brat, Missy, and Angie Martinez are on it tho'), and "The Jump Off" (mostly cuz of Timbaland's production and Mr. Cheeks' appearance). But her music is awful. It's just slutty, tasteless music. I think 30 years is a bit much 4 lying, but it waz a stupid decision. Code of the 'hood tells u 2 keep your mouth shut on stuff like that, but this is court, not a police officer on the street.

Samuel L. Jackson is a modern day legend on the big screen. He has the right 2 be picky about what he dose and who he works with. Heck, i'm just a local actor and i've dropped out of 2 shows in the past 5 months cuz i knew they wouldn't meed my personal requirements. 50 Cent has a 1 dimentinal personality on his records...why would he all of a sudden be able 2 act in a movie?!?! He probably will just play one of those "i think i'm gangsta" type of characters which will be the same fake persona he puts on in his stupid music videos. I understand why he would disagree with Samuel L. Jackson's decision, but he should have kept his mouth shut and try 2 prove himself. 50 Cent really is a joke. That movie lost a great actor simply cuz they wanted 2 have a rap pop star in their movie 2 drag his white teenage fanbase. (yes, that waz a joke...don't no crackers get bent outta shape...i'm white 2... :hilarious: )

I think it'd be cool and let "Why" wait. "Switch" dosen't look like it's picking up momentum until now. Let it shine a bit and see what it can do. When it starts 2 drop, hit 'em with "Why"...then when late May/early June comes...give us a straight Hip-Hop joint or club joint 4 the summertime.

where did you read that? He only says "Tatyana Ali" on the track. :hilarious: FP also served as Executive Producer of her 1998 album Kiss The Sky. Better than that, he also dropped a rap on a remix of her single "Boy You Knock Me Out" which had a great music video 4 it as well. He also put her on the Wild Wild West soundtrack with Kel Spencer.

Willennium is amazing...after all these years. I'm expecting Lost + Found 2 be a mixture of Big Willie Style, with Willennium, and a dash of Code Red.

I got Omarion's album at Target, cuz thru' them, u can get a download of an unreleased b-side. However, when i tried 2 get it, it didn't work. The same thing better not happen with FP's album.

Hmmmm...i'd say the turtle. I know how 2 take care of animals so it's be no problem...but at the same time, my ex got a turtle last year and it died a few days after she got it, even tho' he took care of it. Hitler's skull wouldn't be so bad tho'...haha. A skull is a skull, that's just nasty. If i had 2 living rooms, i would just never go in the one that has Hitler's skull in it. I like the idea of making money rather than risking loosing it. I don't like this ?uestion as much. :kool:

Tra-Knox is a real talent...but Born To Reign didn't provide them with the outlet they needed. I saw them sing live...those cats are 4 real. Born To Reign was FP's weakest album, but Tra-Knox isn't the reason 4 that...it waz the production. The music experements were just 2 much.

When a CD dosen't have an explict lyrics sticker, they don't usually make an edited version. I have albums by Ginuwine and Omarion that have 1 or 2 cuss words on them but since the overall album is tasteful, the record company dosen't press a whole 'nother version of that album just 2 clean up 1 or 2 words. Trust me, there won't be and edited version of a Fresh Prince album. :kekeke:
