  1. It would my computer 4ever 2 open that...and 50 Cent definitly isn't worth it. If anyone who has listened 2 it feels like typing out the highlights, feel free 2.
  2. Man, Jamie keeps going back and forth on this album idea. He keeps saying he's gonna do one, then he says he'll do music but that he's not gonna release his own album. He's pretty unstoppable right now so i'd like 2 see him come out with another one. Most people don't know this'll be his 2nd album. He released one 10 years ago which from what i heard, waz very good. It waz titled Peep This and i taped a few of his rare live performances back then. I never did get the album, it got kinda rare after that. Now people on ebay are finding out about it and paying crazy money 2 get it. I wish i wouldn't have slept. He dropped 2 or 3 singles back then that did well 2 R-N-B audiences. I think he did a song on the Woo soundtrack (Jada's 1998 movie). He also did a song on MC Lyte's last album (maybe the best song on that album). I'd love 2 see him and FP do something!! Imagin how that could be. Maybe FP could do the skits 4 his album.
  3. Man, 50 Cent and Eminem are just diggin' themselves in holes they won't be able 2 get out of. Both of them started out with have fanbases that had a Hip-Hop/Rap following. Now they pretty much only have suburban high skools diggin' them. FP has been doing this 4ever...Eminem has been doin' okay, but his original fans don't support him anymore, and his music sucks. Nas as been around for over 10 years, and even when i'm not feelin' all of his stuff, he keeps the quality above the average.
  4. I'm not following this stuff. 50 Cent is just trying 2 create his own little soap opera 2 gain attention and sales. Alot like how Eminem used 2 diss EVERYBODY, just 2 get atttention and sales. When your music is lacking and u know it, u gotta do other stuff 2 make up 4 the weak music. I honestly think 50 Cent is committing career suicide. U can do crazy stuff like that when u have talent and make good music 2 back it up....but he dosen't.
  5. Good 2 see him up there...i'm hoping this is just the start of "Switch" catching on. Cuz even tho' it's touching the charts, where i live, i don't see it on TV, hear it on the radio or hear anyone talking about it. I like alot of music on that list when it comes 2 top 40 stuff. Alicia Key's "Karma" is dope. John Legend's "Ordinary People" is amazing. "Mockingbird" by Eminem is the 1st some by him that i've really liked in a long time. I think that song is ill...just honest candid. It's been years since i thougth an Eminem song waz actually really good. I think that Gwen Stephani + Eve song "Rich Girl" is alright. Y'all know how i feel about Nelly, but i love "Over And Over." Usher's "Caught Up" and Jennifer Lopez' "Get Right" are songs i currently have in rotation in my CD player. I like Destiny's Child, but i think "Solider" is one of the worst songs they've ever done. The version w/o rap improves it alot tho.' Other trax i don't mind are those Kelly Clarkson, 3 Doors Down, and, and Maroon 5.
  6. I'm not saying anything is wrong with it. But i guess i know how people feel when the US remakes a movie or something that waz originated 4 another country. When it's done well, u are glad they appriciate it...but when it comes off kinda strange, it's funny. When i listen 2 the interview, part of my laffs...but part of the time he gets on my nerves. That's how radio personalities are tho'...u either love 'em or hate 'em. Where i live, the radio personalities for top 40 stations are so annoying. I wouldn't pump the breaks when i saw them crossing the street.
  7. Philly is obviously his favorite place. It's home. He always comes home and always rocks Philly sports gear. He obviously loves "Miami." Every winter he goes 2 Aspen...so there's the 3 places i'd say are his favorites...in that order.
  8. 1. New Kids On The Block 2. Holla Back 3. From Da South
  9. I don't know anything about the guy...which is understandable since i live in the US. One thing that cracks me up every single time i hear the freestyle is when FP says "Tim Westwood, doin' it good" and he says "Holla!" Hip-Hop is worldwide, but when i hear non-Americans use Hip-Hop slang, it cracks me up...it just dosen't come across right.
  10. Imports can confuse u. "Just Cruisin'" is on most versions of JJ+FP Greatest Hits. I'ts on the Men In Black soundtrack, and the Trackmasters Remix on is 1 or 2 import (non-US) versions of Big Willie Style. The "Hey Sexy Lady" remix can only be found on ultra rare promo vinyl singles and that rare Sexy Lady Exposion CD. General ?uestion...HOW DO U LOSE A CD?!?
  11. U really like those beats? Ugh, from the 2 new songs i've heard, there isn't anything good about the beat. That kinda music isn't even 'produced'...it's 'processed.'
  12. MARQUES HOUSTON + YOUNG ROME - All Because of You
  13. Thanx 4 posting the tracklisting!! I'm hyped 2 hear an R-N-B remix of it!! Since Eminem and 50 Cent are on Interscope, and their import singles are pretty easy 2 find in the US, i'm thinkin' "Switch" should be easy 2 find as well. Is it just me or dose that single cover pic make FP look a lil' drunk?!? I think they could have gotten a better cover 4 the single...at least a more-photogenic moment.
  14. They could do more, but at least they are acknowledgeing him as an artist. They aren't 2 fast on the updates. On the same page, they talk about Gwen Stafani's "forthcoming album"....it came out in October or November!!
  15. I got MTV on... KELLY CLARKSON - Since You Been Gone (not a bad pop rock song) just ended FRANKIE J + BABY BASH - "(whatever his new single is)" (nothing new, but not a bad song...the video makes it better than when i 1st heard it on the radio)
  16. They are both jokes. BOTH of them rap like they are sleeping when at the mic. There voice stay on the same note 4 every word they say. Ugly cats with bad, light weight production. They are like cookie-cutter versions of each other and not a bit of talent in site.
  17. My thing is this...people who havn't been submerged in somehing shouldn't judge something. I don't like rock music...so i'm not gonna judge rock artists or their music. That fool who reviewed "Switch" dosen't have any Hip-Hop credibly. That's why he should shut up when it comes 2 Hip-Hop music. Period.
  18. Everytime i try 2 check that site, it kicks me offline after i read the 1st line. Am i the only person this is happening 2? :nhawong:
  19. I didn't watch them either...they usually bore me outta my mind. But i also checked the winners after they were over. When i saw Jamie Foxx won best actor, i waz so happy. He deserve all the good things that come his way. Have u seen his new special on Comedy Central, featuring urban comics? Check if u can, cuz they are hilarious. Did I, Robot or Sharktale win that Special Effects award? I waz assuming Spider-Man would get it but i really wanna know. If someone saw them televised, let us know what scenes they aired when mentioning the movies.
  20. It's kinda funny, cuz i actually followed a few of his guest appearances in the late 90's, and i loved "Wanksta" when it came out. Then i heard more of his music, i thought it waz wack so i ignored him. Next thing u know, he's the hottest thing. After tons of overexposure, i think he's one of the least talented people ever, and his music is just bad, no matter how u look at it. People who live like that always pay 4 it. Right now he's dealing with loneliness, but if he keeps neglecting the important things in life, his life is gonna crash. I don't wish that on anybody, but this interview amazed me.
  21. 2nite i waz chillin'...nothing 2 do. And while i waz channel flippin' i came across MTV's special on 50 Cent. I figured, if i'm gonna talk so much trash on the guy, i should watch a long interview and make sure i knew what i was talking about. I watched almost of it and i was highly discusted. Sway, an intellegent Hip-Hop expert, was asking him all these ?uestions and 50 Cent sounded slightly offended by many of the ?uestions and got kinda defensive. He was so full of pride. He admitted 2 dissing Fat Joe, Jadakiss, and R. Kelly simply cuz they did songs with Ja-Rule. He waz all proud of that but only made himself look like a fool. He thought he was really clever by attacking other artists/businessmen who worked with someone he's having an immature fued with. He then talked about buying Mike Tyson's old house which has 18 bedrooms. Right after that he talked about being alone and not taking care of his son. How ignorant is that?!?! When Sway asked him about his son, 50 said that he supports him financially but that it isn't there 4 him. He blamed it on his work. Jazzy Jeff, Fresh Prince, LL Cool J, Eminem, Salt, Pepa, Babyface, TLC, Montell Jordan, Snow, all those artists, big and small, old and new, all have kids that they take care off. There is no excuse to put your career so infront of your family that u can't raise your own son when they need u the most. Sway took the interveiw to family and he said he didn't have any. He talked about all of this with a smile on his face. He has a son and an 18 bedroom house...and he's saying he has no family. Sway even said that when he talked to Eminem, who loves his daughter, but has a failed relationship and a falling out with both parents, admitted to feeling sad and empty at times becuz of his family situation. I think Eminem's more current music is trash, but when i see stuff like that, i have sympathy 4 the man he is. But i look at 50 and his attitude and it makes me sick. Of course he always talked about music. He only talked about it as a business. Never once did he talk about Hip-Hop, art, poetry or anything like that. All he talked about waz fame and record sales. Now, more than ever, i'll say that 50 Cent is a discusting person and that his career will fall in the upcoming years. His music is trash, his lyrics are pointless, his voice is annoying, his flow is boring, he stays in shape so that females don't realize how ugly he is. He is a poor excuse for a human being and when this sucka's fame disappears, i'll feel that commercial rap has taking steps towards healing, even if it hasn't. And he can take G-Unit and The Game with him.
  22. My friend saw Hitch 2nite...which she loved. The guy behind the counter gave her a free ticket 2 see Dieary of A Mad Black Woman. She said she liked a few parts of it. She also said she didn't like some of it and that parts of it seemed like they were ripping off Eddie Murphy movies.
  23. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air on Nick At Nite. They are airing a block of episodes from the 1994 era.
