MARVIN GAYE - I Want You

Looking at the movie, being a romantic comedy that has "Will Smith" as the star, i'm thinkin' it'll be mostly and R-N-B soundtrack with a dash of Hip-Hop. I'm going on absolutly nothing more than that tho.' As long as the song isn't related 2 the movie, i'm up 4 a new song (who isn't?). I kinda have the feeling the album won't be out by then anyway.

Hey, i think Chingy is pretty wack, but i think it's important 2 give anything a chance. And since it features Janet Jackson, i wanna hear the song myself. kbfprince, my mom has the NSYNC Christmas album. While i never be an NSYNC fan, since i no longer dispise Justin Timberlake, i may give the album a listen. I have the TRL Christmas album and there's an NSYNC song called something like "I Don't Wanna Be Along On Christmas" or something...i gave it a listen 2 days ago and i actually like the song. Don't get it twisted y'all, i'm not gonna be doing the "Bye Bye Bye" dance any time soon. Right now i'm listening 2 Jessica Simpson's "The Christmas Song."

Sorry, i thought that statement waz made towards the beat Eminem put 2gether. I think the song "Ghetto Gospel" is amazing...but when i compare those trax produced by Rapheal Saddiq and Scott Storch 2 Eminem's, it disappoints me cuz even in all it's dopeness...the song could be more powerful. The only thing that bugs me is the weak synth line on it....if a real producer got his hands on the track, i think it'd be on the same level of "Changes."

They only have the one Christmas album. Since they have total control over their careers now, i wouldn't be surprised if they did another in a few years. They did that episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air back when the album 1st came out. "Let It Snow" and "Silent Night" from the show are both on the album (4 those that didn't know). They did collaborate on Brian McKnight's 1998 Christmas album for "Let It Snow '98." Since Brian McKnight worked on their Christmas album, it waz only right 4 the Boyz 2 pop up on his 2 remake the classic they created in 1993.

January is what he waz aiming for...but it's not looking good. There hasn't been any news on the album or single in a long time.

Design-wise, i don't have any ideas...but i also haven't tried brainstorming anything yet. However, if u'd like some updates on the content (lyrics, discography, etc), i'd be happy 2 put work in 4 that. Since i doubt i'll ever get 2 put 2gether the JJ+FP site i've always wanted 2 put 2gether, i'll see if i can't type up some rare interviews and things like that i've always had but have been holding back on. I just ask that i'll get credit 4 whatever i donate towards the site. Something like "Compiled by AJ Blackstock" or "Typed up by AJ Blackstock" is all i ask.

How can u say they are close 2 2Pac's sound?!? I know u are a 2Pac fan and have heard his early albums...how can u say that Eminem's work is anywhere near the sound or quality 2Pac put out. 2 me, pretty much every beat sounds like Eminem-production. Every song sounds similar. I look down the credits of the album and see names like Johnny J and 2Pac himself as original producers of the song and i'm wondering why on earth they'd have Eminem produce new beats 4 the album. The original work had 2 be far better. And the altered vocals where it sounds like 2Pac is shouting out G-Unit makes me ill. That's like someone remixing "Boom! Shake The Room" and having FP give a shout out 2 Vanilla Ice. I think it's clear that real 2Pac fans have spoken when it comes 2 this petition (that most of them don't even know about). Eminem clearly made alot of 2Pac fans mad. As a result, i hope Eminem realizes that he simply dosen't have support from real Hip-Hop fans. His production sucks and his view of what music should be, especially for a Hip-Hop icon, is not what mature fans want. Maybe the 13 year old suburban kids who don't know what real Hip-Hop is like it...but not the real heads.

Yeah, i've always wanted 2 hear that Christmas song 2Pac did. About that Boyz II Men Christmas album, i'd get that on CD. What on earth are u listening 2 it on cassette for!?! They rereleased it a year or 2 ago. The new album cover is stupid, but i think they might have remastered it. I think the album is so amazing that i'm gonna get the re-release next year.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!! It looks like alot of us are going thru' some stuff that is distracting from the holiday. I myself have gone thru' a pretty complicated, sometimes confusing, sometimes disappointing, sometimes painful year as well. But there's alot of good things that happened as well. While my Christmas Eve waz everything but how u should spend Christmas Eve, i'm still welcoming the holiday. For those of u who have faith, remember what the season truely means, and thru' that, the pains of this world mean nothing compared 2 what good things await. For those of u celebrating the idea of love, giving, sharing, and so on. Purge the pain and yuck from your lives 2 the back of your mind and look at all the great things we do have going 4 us. From the family who are still here 2 the relationships with have on this board. Christmas is a beautiful time of year, no matter what angle u are looking at it. Sometimes the struggles in life and tarnish the magic behind it...but part of that is simply in our own heads. Why wallow in a sad mood when u do have the power 2 look at life in a different way...which is totally your own choice. Even when facing loss, cherish the times u do or did have 2gether. I wish Hope, Love, Joy, Peace, Happiness for everyone here.

Thanx 4 posting this. I've been upset about what they've done with 2Pac's music for years. Ever since 2000, alot of his stuff has been remixed and nearly all of it from his last 3 full albums has been. I love the idea that this has gotten attention by the people who can make a difference. It's kinda funny that about 8,000 people have signed this becuz off the millions of albums that he sells each time, it's probably those 8,000 who are true fans who didn't jump on the band wagon during All Eyez On Me or when he passed. I think Loyal 2 The Game waz the last straw. Eminem sucks as a producer. The only trax i really like off this new album are Ghetto Gospel, The Uppercut, and Don't You Trust Me...and they even need at least a lil' work. I love the "bonus trax" not produced by Eminem. They are really good. I listen 2 them along with the 3 i mentioned earlier all the time. I don't mind them being remixed at all becuz they have 2Pac's sound. It's time 4 change and this petition waz the right start.

NITTY - Nasty Girl

One might be the full screen version and one may be the widescreen version. However, i've only seen 1 cover 4 it. FP is on the slipcase around the DVD, when u take it off, u just see a robot (can't remember if it's Sonny) and an army of them behind him. Maybe some of them were in the slipcase and some weren't. I'm not aware different versions here in the US.

JumpinJack AJ replied to JumpinJack AJ's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
Yeah, i've always wanted Jeff's suit in that pic...but i'd need a matching pink hat. I don't feel that vest FP has on tho.' -
Yeah!! Thanx 4 that. FP is unstoppable!!!

I should have the album sometime next week. Here's the trax Jeff cuts up... -------------------------------------- Jazzy Jeff's BBE Mix: Intro Pete Rock - Just Do it Jazzy Jeff - For The Love of The Game Foreign Exchange - The Answer Pete Rock - No More Words J Dilla - Come Get It Jazzy Jeff - Break It Down Pete Rock - Back on The Block Foriegn Exchange - Come Around J Dilla - Think Twice Jazzy Jeff - Rock Wit U

I think "Apple Cobbler" is an okay song...but i can't listen 2 it more than once in 1 day. I think I'm About To Get Her, 1 In The Morning, or one of the trax with female R-N-B vocals on the hook would be good. "Feel The Beat" is my fav track, but since it served as the b-side 2 "Headsprung" i doubt he's release that. "Rub My Back" has been advertised as a single.

Yo, he KILLED that!!! Is that on a mixtape or something?!?! This is a perfect of what Hip-Hop could be if they gave beats like that 2 artists who have talent. That waz one of the illest things a heard in awhile. Lloyd Banks has a decent-sounding single of 2, but his flow and voice are awful and boring...sounds like he's rapping in his sleep. God 4bid he say anything important in his music.

JESSICA SIMPSON - What Christmas Means To Me
-
I just realized something funny this week. Maybe some of u can relate 2 this. Of course all of us who have Nick At Nite are happy The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air airs multiple times at nite...but my friends have turned this against me. A few times i've been over 2 friends houses and have been like "I gotta bounce, i have work 2morrow" and next thing u know, they flip 2 Nick At Nite and there's JJ+FP on TV. Of course this makes me say "okay, i'll leave after this." Which has me staying out at least an hour later than i plan. Dose this happen 2 anyone else? U are trying 2 go home or something, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air or one of FP's movies comes on TV and u get stuck watching it??
