  1. Go on MJ!! Pull that trash off the TV screen!! Eminem is such a loser, i love the fact that BET took it off the air. He's built his whole career off gimmicks...his music is no longer good enuff 2 balance out the gimmick vs. quality ratio so he's gonna have 2 step up his game of he's gonna fall flat on his face.
  2. During my last stop 2 the music store, i picked up Jon B "Stronger Everyday," Usher "Confessions: Special Edition," and the Australian Import of Alicia Keys "The Diary of..." with a bonus CD featuring remixes. My next stop 2 the music store will be 2 pick up De La Soul's "The Grind Date" and Talib Kweli's "The Beautiful Struggle."
  3. Very sad news... but i look at it this way. Now he can truely fly without special efx.
  4. I'll keep my eyes open 4 it. I like Snoop Dogg, but since the very late 90's...his stuff dosen't impress me like it used 2. Still better than your average stuff tho.' After that 213 album, i'll definitly be checkin' 4 it.
  5. Sorry, i can't believe this til i see a source. Unless they are talking about a reunion episode that focuses on the show. All of Us is supposed 2 have some more Will and Jada appearances this season...that's a fact. I got that from TV Guide.
  6. How can u say it's not on the level of Hip-Hop back then..it has Schooly D, Kool Moe Dee and Whodini on it. Mimi is from JJ+FP's camp in Philly. She raps with FP on that Billy Ocean track "I Sleep Much Better (In Someone Else's Bed).
  7. Man, i just love this song. It's been on the radio for like a month and i can't get enuff of it. Usher is just one of the smoothest playas out there representing young guys like me. And Alicia Key is just one of the most talented people on the face of this planet. The music's steady bumpin' R-N-B drenched sound is amazing. The video is great 2. The colors and camera work is just perfect 4 the song. However, what has me hooked the most is the subject matter. Anybody relate 2 that song?? I definitly have a person in mind when i hear that song. That special girl that u have alot of special moments with, but the timing just isn't right. And even tho' time has passed since things feel apart, u still think of that person every single day. Since the song kinda touches on the idea of them also being in the entertainment bizness, it's kinda cool cuz myself and this other person are local actors...of course we aren't famous tho.' But people do recognize us from our work on stage and in commercials. It's funny cuz since me and this girl had a falling out, we've kept busy but neither of us have worked 2gether since that time and we are always brought up when it comes 2 chemistry (on stage and 2gether). Usher and Alicia's chemistry remind me of our own. Anybody really feelin' this song and/or relating 2 it?
  8. R u sure? I've seen versions of their albums from all over the world and i've never seen this remix on any of them. I've only ever seen it on the Girls Ain't Nothing/Brand New Funk singles.
  9. Let's not get 2 loose on what a Hip-Hop luv song is about. I wouldn't consider "Time To Chill" and "Walk This Way" luv songs.
  10. Actually, WORD contains a JJ+FP track off one of their 1st or 2nd album (i forget which track). WORD 2 has "New Kids On The Block" on it. If u like old school, those WORD albums are good. If not, u might not like some of the trax. This compilations are basically an outlet 2 put out their current Hip-Hop artists at the time.
  11. I like Sean Paul. "Gimmie The Light" waz dope and i've liked ever single since. I got his album and more than half of it is real good. I love reggae and dancehall music...especially in the summertime. Don't 4get him and FP worked 2gether on Shaggy's remix of "Hey Sexy Lady."
  12. Check the link in the 1st post...it's got all the general info there.
  13. It's eazy when Eminem's newer stuff is the topic. Nobody takes Eminem seriously. When he dose stuff, he dose it wrong. He can attack the Bush Administration but nobody is gonna pay attention 2 him. When Public Enemy makes music like that, it's not done in a way 2 get fame or money. It's 2 express themselves. Eminem just wants attention...he's not even calling 4 action, just attention. Since he's a joke, nobody is gonna take him seriously. Chuck D vs. Eminem....puhleeze
  14. That's sad. I grew up on comic books and those Superman movies. There were times when i'd watch one of them almost everyday. In his later years, he definitly served as an inspiration 4 all kinds of people. He was definitly a role model of mine. Rest In Peace.
  15. The whole MIB concept makes it eazy 2 continue doing sequels. I would like 2 see MIIIB but i think they should wait awhile 2 do it. I also think they should not worry about keeping the movies so short and just spend alot of time on making a quality script. They plan on doing one and everyone involved wants 2 see it happen. I wonder if FP will attempt making a new song 4 the soundtrack...i don't see how he can pull that off. Then again, i didn't think he could pull "BSC" off either.
  16. FP's musical drive is much stronger than what it waz in the past. I hope his time with Jeff inspires a full album. They can title it Big Philly Style.
  17. I'm watching "The Making of The Video" for "Lose It." This song is trash. The crappy cheap sounding music kinda feels like it belongs in the background of a Girls Gone Wild. I think some of this making of the video is funny...but that video itself is supposed 2 be really funny. There's one problem tho'...it just isn't....it's wack.
  18. Yeah, of his cameos...his stuff with Marques Houston and Christina Milian are the ones that come 2 mind. I think both of them good...but cameos aren't exactly the best repersentation of some artists.
  19. U really need 2 go buy his albums. If u are a newer fan, that's cool...if not, what r u waiting 4?!?
  20. I just saw the video...it sux. "My Band" waz pretty funny...but i think this is awful. The song is so bad and the video isn't any better. Usually videos help make bad songs better...but that's not the case in my opinion. The old Eminem waz clever and funny...since 2000ish, it just isn't any more. I don't find the song or video funny at all.
