  4. http://othernews.uk.myway.com/article//200...67312965A0.html Downloaded album tracks and "golden oldies" will be eligible for the charts under new rules coming into force next week. Until now, downloads have been included in the Official Singles Chart only if physical copies of the song are available in shops. But from January 1 the rules will be altered so that all download sales can be counted. It means any song available on the internet could become the next number one. Chart experts predict artists whose old songs are featured in adverts or films are likely to find themselves heading back up the charts. The Official UK Charts Company (OCC) decided to change the rules in response to the huge increase in the number of music downloads. Downloads have doubled the size of the UK singles market from 32.3 million in 2004 to 65.1 million in the first 51 weeks of this year. X Factor winner Leona Lewis recently set a record for the fastest-selling UK download after her debut single A Moment Like This shifted 50,000 copies in its first half hour of release. OCC director Steve Redmond said: "January 1 2007 marks a dramatic development in the history of the Official UK Charts. "For the past 54 years, a single was a track selected by a record company to be pressed on plastic and distributed to stores on a particular date. "From now on a single can be any track currently available as a download - even an album track or a golden oldie - as well as the established physical formats of CD, DVD, seven and 12 inch vinyl. "This new ruling changes the nature of a single and puts the consumer in the driving seat. Literally any track can be a hit - as long as it sells enough." _____________________________________________________________ As a JJFP fan i'd love to see I'm looking for the one (To be with me) in the charts. That song really deserves a second chance

  15. What do you think of this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SA9-AJtUyXU
  16. Well Eminem does have skills but at the minute he's just putting those skills to bad use. His word play was awesome back in The Slim Shadey LP days but now he just isnt as good as he used to be. I also wouldn't say that Eminem is the most skillful rapper out cause there are 100's of emcee's who've got more skills than Eminem and Eminem does talk some bull crap in his lyrics like ''Radio won't evan play my jam''. What the hell? The radio plays his music before anyone else and ''They tried to shut me down on MTV''. Again more bull cause Eminem is always on MTV and TRL
  17. LL cool J Nas Biggie 2Pac Run DMC Fort Minor Common Kool Moe Dee Coolio Public enemy
  18. Fresh Prince and LL Cool J I'll post more when i think of others
  19. True that and to be honest the way things are going with Eminem these days i can't see him being around for that much longer either He used to be a lyrical genius (back in the Slim Shadey LP days) and now he's a lyrical mess who's just a slave the biz
  20. Do any of you think that Lost and found could have sold alot better than what it have now if it was given proper promotion and Tell me why was released as a third single and a possible fourth single like Lost and found? I've just always had this gut feeling that if it was promoted properly then it could have easily outsold any 50 Cent album and Will could have won another grammy. It's such a shame cause things started off really well with Switch most people were feelin it and it was a great party track I'm not saying that the amount of copies Lost and Found have sold is bad but i just think that it could have a done a whole lot better
