interesting... "NBC/must see tv" killed the American sitcom? ..i would agree that I don't relate to a lot of contemporary sitcoms.. but I don't know if it's just my own weariness of "sitcommy" humor in general or something else.. more sitcoms need to have more racially diverse casts.. but now reality shows are dominating.. it's going to get worse when Jay Leno's prime time show comes out at 10 pm Eastern... one whole hour of programming gone on NBC.. Alphonso should be on a show like Law & Order, show his dramatic skills..

I remember that cameo in A Different World.. would have been interesting if he had at least been a recurring character.. too bad..

ah... all of the jive albums should be re-released as deluxe versions.. at the very least on Itunes, if not a limited-run hardcopy.. include 12-inch cuts- b-sides, period remixes, some new remixes.. jeff & will could collaborate on books detailing the recording of their seminal work..

... it's inevitable to come back.. the hip-hop honors will eventually have jazzy jeff & fresh prince on there.. also they're eligible for the rock & roll hall of fame in 2012 along with Public Enemy...
