DON'T JUST STREAM - BUY BASED ON A TRUE STORY!
Jazzy Julie replied to JumpinJack AJ's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
If there is a physical album I will 100% but it, I like to have a music collection and I can put the CD in my car. But I have a subscription to Amazon music so I’ve been streaming it on that. The only option to buy that I can see is Apple Music for £12.99. I don’t have money to waste of buying it to then play it on an app I don’t use. -
It’s a hard one because I still struggle to rate the original 4 haha. I’d say Willenium Lost and Found Big Willie Style Based on a True Story Born to Reign Still digesting BOATS, although I’ve probably listened to it about 15 times in the last 3 days.

Yeah Will doesn’t tend to get good reviews for either film or music so it doesn’t make much difference to me. What’s most important is that the fans are enjoying it and on the most part we are. I’m sure it matters more to Will what we think. i was going to make a joke about reviewers knowing nothing because it’ll be some 40 year old white person, but that’s actually describing me now haha.

Fav track off Based on a True Story R.I.T.W
Jazzy Julie replied to Hero1's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
I chose rave in the wasteland but my other top songs are bulletproof, beautiful scars and make it look easy. Need to listen more to judge against songs that were out a year ago. -
'Based on a True Story' - New Album drops March 28
Jazzy Julie replied to Ale's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
I am so happy with this album, it’s exceeded my expectations, been playing it all day. The barbershop intro is the perfect start, that stuff needed to be said and it’s great to see Jeff on there. I’m enjoying “you looking for me”, it’s a middle of the road track for me. ”Rave in the wasteland” was a huge shock for me, seeing the title, it looked a little odd but when that beat started it was crazy. Sounds so different from anything he’s done, his flow is insane. Possibly my fave of the new, unreleased ones. Love “bulletproof” I think I heard it a while back when he did it live and I’ve been waiting to hear it properly. Definitely one of the better tracks of the album. “Hard times” is great, I love RnB so the female vocalist sounds great to me. Only negative was Will wasn’t quite featured enough on it, but musically it’s beautiful. Been playing “beautiful scars” lots the last few weeks, one of my top tracks of the album. “Tantrum” has been out a while, I’ve seen most people love this one, I like it but it’s lower down on my list of tracks. Maybe I’ve overplayed it waiting on this album haha. “First love” is my least favourite, the vocalist just isn’t my style and Wills flow just isn’t as good. I don’t dislike it so much but it’s just nowhere near as good as the rest of the album. Don’t know why they chose to release it. Really like “make it look easy”, it’s grown on me a lot throughout the day. It’s almost like big Willie style vibes. Such a nice, chill, fun song. I’ve always really liked “you can make it”. It came out when I was coming to the end of a tough couple of years, so it’s a special song to me. I’ve always really enjoyed “work of art” too. Being the second song out made me realise we were gonna get some great music out of Will after 20 years. Overall, love it. I think it’s perfect to come out with music like this after recent years. I’m ok with the swearing, he’s no longer got his squeaky clean image so he may as well haha. I’m hoping the next chapter/album has more fun, upbeat songs. But as the first one back, it’s just right. -

Got tickets for Wolverhampton to meet up with Brakes, Kev and Michelle. The JJFP crew is back together. We’ve not seen each other since 2018 -
'Based on a True Story' - New Album drops March 28
Jazzy Julie replied to Ale's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
So excited for this album, love you can make it, work of art, bulletproof and beautiful scars. I’m not as much of a fan of first love but we can’t have it all. Just 5 days to go, we’ve been waiting a long time for this moment. I’m also hoping for a physical CD. It just won’t feel right if this album doesn’t sit on the shelf with the rest of them. -

I’m hoping he comes back to the UK but I’m willing to travel to Europe if I have to. That’s what savings are for right. -

Will Smith at 'La Velada' - Performs New Song 'Work Of Art'
Jazzy Julie replied to Ale's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
Love the new song. I think I new album is imminent and judging by what we’ve heard it’s gonna be amazing. He has so much love from the crowd too, he must of felt amazing when they were chanting his name. The performance has 1.2 million views on YouTube so far and all positive comments. -
I love it. Catchy, modern sound with deep lyrics. I was just assuming any new Will song would mostly be for the fans but I can see this making an impact mainstream. Especially since he’s performing it at the BET awards. If the rain was my teenage angst song, this can be my midlife crisis one. “Every storm runs out of rain” love it!

Bad Boys 4 Is Already in the Works at Sony
Jazzy Julie replied to fan 4ever's topic in Will Smith Movies
Yeah I’m so pleased for him that’s it’s been a hit. I still see people make comments about the slap and how they will never watch a film again but internet trolls can be very loud and obviously they aren’t in the majority of people. You can’t cancel Will Smith. -
Bad Boys 4 Is Already in the Works at Sony
Jazzy Julie replied to fan 4ever's topic in Will Smith Movies
Saw the film last night, I loved it. Funniest film I’ve seen in a while. Normally by the time a movie gets to number 4 they get pretty bad but they’ve still got it. Enjoyed all the cameos too. My friend who likes Will but isn’t as hardcore as us liked it too. The cinema was laughing the whole time. -

Sorry I’ve not been on here, I don’t have a computer anymore so I’ve come here on my phone since it’s all got pretty exciting I live Wills verse, it’s just a shame it’s not a little longer. It makes me really excited for the new album tho if it’s anything like this. -
Why did Will Smith slap Chris Rock at the Oscars?
Jazzy Julie replied to Hero1's topic in Will Smith Movies
Oh cool. I really enjoyed these documentaries. Nice to see Will back at it. Meanwhile people aren’t liking a lot of Chris Rocks comments about the incident. He’s not coming across well.- 172 replies

Why did Will Smith slap Chris Rock at the Oscars?
Jazzy Julie replied to Hero1's topic in Will Smith Movies
I’m glad he did this on his own Instagram on his own terms. Apologetic and not acting like a victim. He looks hurt but I actually expected him to be worse to be honest. Sounds like he’s trying to heal. The internet seem to of mostly taken it well, still the odd person overreacting but hopefully he can move on now and start getting his career back.- 172 replies

'Emancipation' - Antoine Fuqua & Will Smith Runaway Slave Thriller
Jazzy Julie replied to Ale's topic in Will Smith Movies
I thought this dude was getting cancelled btw can’t believe these old school emojis are still on this site. -
People will always make jokes about the slap for the rest of his career unfortunately. People still joke about the entanglement, they still talk about the open marriage. It will always be there and someone will always make a comment. I don’t however think it’s the end of his career. He’s too liked and too talented for it to overshadow his whole personality. I think the next step for him is to go about his business. Do a new film, then as he’s promoting it, he will undoubtedly be asked and he can address it then. I don’t think he should do an interview just about it. It’s just bringing it all up again.

BAD BOYS 4 ISN'T ON HOLD AFTER ALL...
Jazzy Julie replied to JumpinJack AJ's topic in Will Smith Movies
I always thought this would still happen, and if it didnt it would be nothing to do with the slap. People aren't gonna skip a decent movie because Will slapped someone. It'll be long forgotten by then, apart from the odd joke.
