i used to have a really bad car too, the tape player played backwards, the engine turned itself off at traffic lights, the exhaust fell of one day, it went thru oil every 2 weeks, the windscreen wipers broke when i was going 70 mph on the motorway in a rainstorm, stupid kids kicked the wingmirror off and i made a huge dent in the front by crashing it lol. Think yourself lucky. But i saved up and now i have a great car.

If they would have listened to his statement they would have put out tell me why. If Will said he wanted to put out music without restrictions, he was obviously restricted in putting that song out. I care about tell me whys sales but the main reason i wanna see it released is so we can have a dope video and haters can hear it and prove that Will isnt a"bubblegum rapper". They didnt restrict him writing what he wanted to, but they did restrict it from being heard by a lot of people. Deep songs like tell me why and ms holy roller were only heard by fans and people that liked switch.

I guess u never know it could happen. If Will wants to change hip hop for the better with this CD, they might have some success and take it further. The whole thing could be a flop or it could change hip hop forever, who knows.

The reason why i didnt reply to his blog was due to my own ignorance i dont know anything about j dilla. I didnt think it was right for me to say anything if i know nothing of the situation, if u know what i mean?

Erst einmal Danke das du dir Zeit genommen hast um mit uns dieses Interview abzuhalten. Kannst du dich bitte erst einmal für alle vorstellen die dich noch nicht kennen? Der Name ist Kel Spancer aka The Promise aka BK on tha Rocks aka the best rapper you’ve never heard of aka that next dude outta Brooklyn. Wie bist du zum rappen gekommen und was hat dich motiviert MC zu warden? Ich war schon immer ein recht kreativer Kerl und nur als Fan im Breakdancing und Graffiti tätig zu sein und mir Filme wie Crush Groove und Breaking war mir einfach nicht genug. Ich wollte Teil dieser Gemeinschaft sein und meine Teil beitragen. Wer gehört den zu den Großen die dich inspiriert haben und wer sind heute deine Idole? Ich wurde von so ziemlich jedem inspiriert. Von Grand Puba, Kool & The Grand und Oats bis hin zu Lauryn Hill, Big & Pac, Jay-Z und Alannis Morrisette. Mein absoluter lieblings Künstler ist aber auf jeden Fall Steveie Wonder und Mays Angelou sowie Nikki Giovanni sind in Sachen Texte schreiben meine Favoriten. Du bist Rapper und Songwritter und hattest auch schon das Vergnügen mit den Großen des Biz zu arbeiten. Wie lief das ab das du z.B. mit Will Smith oder P. Diddy in Kontakt gekommen bist und auch noch für diese schreiben durftest? Ich ging zur Morgan State University um Football zu spielen aber während ich dort draussen war wollte ich mir einen Namen machen. Mein Mann Marc Lynn aka Sharksfin stellte den Kontakt zwischen mir und Will her. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt stand das Telefon nicht mehr still. Derzeit bin ich aber auf dem Weg das zu verwirklichen wozu ich eigentlich geschaffen bin und das ist ein Emcee zu sein. Was ist es für dich eigentlich für ein Gefühl die Stars im Radio zu hören wie sie deine Lyrics performen? Es ist ein tolles Gefühl und die Bezahlung ist auch super. Aber nichts ist besser als sein eigenes Ding zu machen und genau das ist es was ich gerne machen würde. Ich bin einfach daran alles zu tun was es benötigt um meine Kariere auf das Level zu bringen. Wenn du aus dem Mund von Leuten wie Will Smith, Masta Ace oder Jazzy Jeff hörst das du die Zukunft des Hip Hop bist, was ist das dann für ein Gefühl für dich? Bist du da dann eher Stolz auf dich oder drückt das ganze dann vielleicht mehr wie eine schwere Last auf deine Schultern? Ich freue mich einfach darüber. Dies sind Typen die geholfen haben das Fundament für Hip Hop zu legen. Und sie sind einfach glücklich noch immer dabei zu sein. Sie haben gesehn wie es damals war und wie es heute ist. Dann zu hören das sie mich so hoch einstufen ist einfach nur wunderbar. Wann können wir denn jetzt mit deinem erstem Album rechnen und über welches Label wirst du es veröffentlichen? Wir warten immer noch auf die richtige Situation aber sowie Gott will werde ich mein erstes Album diesen Sommer bzw. Herbst veröffentlichen und es wird das warten definitiv wert sein. Vertrau mir. Dein neues Mixtape „Who is Kel Spencer?“ ist ja erst kürzlich erschienen. Kannst du uns hier etwas darüber erzählen? Ich habe das ganze eigentlich mehr als Teaser gedacht gehabt. Aber auch um den Leuten zu zeigen wer ich bin und was hinter dem Songwritter steckt. Es ist eigentlich nur zur Konversation und soll einem die Zeit bis zum Album verkürzen. Wie siehst du den heutigen HipHop mit all den Beefs die im Biz keine Seltenheit sind? Der Beef ist cool wenn er nicht schädlich ist. Der Beef ist für so manchen einfach gut um seine Kariere und seine Verkäufe anzukurbeln aber im ganzen denke ich das dieser Beef nicht so gesund für den HipHop ist. Es sind genug Leute und Freunde wegen so einem Mist gestorben und ich habe keine Lust das noch mal zu sehen. Und jetzt ein paar einfache Fragen. Hier ein paar simple Stichwörter und du sagst uns einfach was dir als erstes durch den Kopf schießt. Although a touchy subject that video is really funny. Hes got in trouble for using the word and he kept saying it over and over again lol, just stop saying it u idiot. The funnier thing is, if he is using the word to fit in, its still not right, it still wouldnt be right if he said "sit down man" or "sit down dude" coz its coming from him, look at him lol. Anyway, i dont agree with black people saying it and i do think its worse if white ppl say it. No matter how much into hip hop you are, how many black friends u have, u still shouldnt say it in my opinion.

ok i know kayne is cocky, but im sure this is taken out of context, im sure he was joking, surely he knows that would be pretty blasphemist. Just to add, i saw Kayne in concert last night, there was this part in the show that was so cool. He did the song "bring me down" which has the lyrics "i always knew that one day, they'd try to bring me down". In the background there was a big screen that had all these bad album reviews, some were really funny going on about how cocky he was. After he did the song and said "how come whenever some1 makes something of themselves ppl have to bring them down and u cant even celebrate what you did". Which is very true. Im not condoning this statement if it is true but he doesnt as much hate as he gets.

i watched the first 2 series but then they put it on at a stupid time and i gave up. Id say its more for the women, lots of footballers in the shower scenes with nice butts. As the show goes on the story lines get even more ridiculous, even worse than lost. i think it will go down well in america.
