I have to say I'm not quite sure what to feel about the movie....that in itself probably tells me that that I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would. Like most people have said the beginning of the movie was really slow and took too long to get into what the story is about! This loses the audience straight away and doesn't leave much scope to bring it back. The last 3rd of the movie was by far the best which saved it from being a complete flop. Will's acting was at times great and at others mediocre. Maybe it’s because I know that Will really wants this Oscar so I'm critiquing every expression/gesture that he does. It is quite annoying that he is only playing certain types of characters in pursuit of this damn Oscar and until he stops chasing it he is never going to win one. It's like people who are deathly afraid of cats. They always seem to attract them on the street. But try and go up to one and stroke it and it'll run away. All I know is that his next film better be amazing because it looks as if he is losing a lot of fans and credibility. I also agree that being 'the most powerful actor in Hollywood' should warrant better script choices and directors. Let's see what is next...

Out of morbid curiosity I'll still check for Em in case he remembers how to start rapping again....Mos Def will be sick....Rakim will bring some much needed sense to the game....Kanye better not have a single auto-tune song on the album...Busta is a legend...Lil Wayne is a cancer to Hip Hop and is slowly killing it....Couldn't care less about 50...Joe Budden will have some real good word play, he's got a lot to say...Dre won't live up to the hype he has built for the past 5 years

Although an improvement on what Em was putting out before he 'retired', this is miles away from the quality of Infinite, SSLP and MMLP. I'll check out his Relapse album to see if he has rekindled the 'old' Marshall but I'm not holding my breath. I remember in a recent interview he said the album was titled Relapse for more reasons than one, so I'm hoping that means he has embraced his older style on it....only time will tell

I think as well Will's decisions coupled up with us all growing up as well has played a major factor! There were a lot of people who used to be around and be regular posters who are AWOL at the moment! Jonny5 being one of the people that springs to mind! I just feel a little cheated as a fan that he has said all of those things about music being his love and then in the next breath saying he has no desire for it at all. I can understand to some extent why he is doing what he is doing.. but I can't say I fully like it!
