Kanye did do a version of the song, which wasn't his best work, but this was completely difrferent... It was sort of like one of those one man shows, from what I saw, except Kanye brought hip hop into it. He did this bit, about his routine, getting up for school, going to school, coming home, ETC ETC Repeat. During which he played a lot of joints from 93 (Not In entirety, just sections of it, to go with his story). And yea, 93 till infinity was one of the joints he chose. It was a good show though. If it's ever on again, i recommend checking it out.

Yes, it was Live8, and Yes it was a good cause, but I know that some contracts don't allow the star to just "Take some days off" Regardless of Cause. The Film Studio is given a certain budget, and a certain ammount of time at each location. They probably couldn't afford to halt producion for that day. And who are we to say that 50 didn't donate, anyway? Let's not speak ill of him unless we know all the facts, first.
