Billboard Lists Top 50 R&B/Hip-Hop Artists Of The Last 25 Years
VIsqo replied to bigted's topic in Caught in the Middle
lol, they added Keysha Cole, T.I, AND NEYO and they forgot to mention other important people on the list. and how come MJ is not a top 10? -
Never saw that before! great addition to ur collection man!

This makes me really happy!

Well, 50 Last album was not bad. It didnt make as much money as its previous ones by much, but it showed some improvement. The problem with much artists not named Eminem, is that when they try to direct their music to a better land, people just buy them less. People want to dance the doogie and to see Lil Wayne in every collaboration. I agree that LAX was a pretty good album. I never liked Game before that, except for a couple of songs, but he set his foot down and joined the best of the game right now with that. Ever since he has been sleeping and without that mixtape, we havent seen anything new from him lately.

I think that the blueprint I is better than the black album man, and reasonable doubt is his best. But to compare Jigga with Nas is out of the question. If Nas could find some good beats, he would be making it rain all day. I dont like every album Nas has released. And even though the last one with Damien Marley was dope, I can not play it as much as I play the BP3.

Wow, thats a pity. Systemic Lupus is a serious disease. I hope she can bear it fine.
-
Yeah, Ashanti last album was pretty good. A proof of how sick Nas can be.

I dont really care how rappers are in person. I really dont know any of them. I like music. The only rapper that has showed me that has a personality that extends way over his music or his artistry is Will Smith. Kanye is not Will. He wants controversy to get sales and recognition. He has produced great beats over the years and has some pretty good songs. But he is in the spotlight right now because most people are waiting for great music from him after a couple of dissapointing albums. Im really looking foward to what he has to bring to the plate now!

The blueprint 2 was a nice song, my favorite from that album.

Im thinking about buying that Rihanna album. In da club- 50 Cent

wow thats a big list. I dont know how to help u pal. When I want music from a show I normally look it up in google by episodes..

One of my favorite albums ever!

I think that 50 and Banks have good talents when they choose to use it. And paired with a new member with some lyrical abilities they can bring G unit back. Im just saying.. I never liked Yayo or Buck.. And I never liked that they ended up Ma$e return to rap or the way they resolve their problems in the open.
-
I never liked superugly of the fact that it was a "freestyle" to one of Nas best songs and a song in which Nas flow and delivery were almost perfect. I think that Jay Z didnt do right to that beat when you hear Nas singing Got urself a gun.

she has a weird head, but she is funny and outgoing!

And he cant say he doesnt have whom to diss. Everybody disses him. Eminem is the one who nobody tries to diss because people know he wont just ignore them, he may explode and destroy a few careers. lol.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YoWlPz133u8 THEY HAVE TO BRING A NEW SINGLE ALREADY!
-
lol, yeah, it is hard for a person, no matter who he is, to be self proclaimed and called by a lot of people the "best rapper alive" and to know that in the most important battle of your rap career you lost and got embarrassed in the eyes of everybody. He knows he cant beat most of them good rappers, so he should just let it forgotten. Besides, most of these kids dont even know this event happen, and some of them dont even know Nas for that matter. I think all the popularity Jay Z has lately comes from the fact that he is the only "old" MC who is still big on the mainstream music. Jay Z is good, and probably some day he will be a legend too, but in his mind, he will always be the guy who got "ETHERED".
-
I hope they are doing the right thing. I think Will and Jada know what they are doing and that they are going to try to keep them grounded and doing good. I hope it doesnt go out of their hands. At least Jaden started with a good sense movie and an collaboration on an inspirational song and Willow started with a feel good, nice dance song. This is a good direction for them.

I dont want Game back with G-unit. And yeah, I agree with Beef. It is an integral part of hip hop and makes it interesting. I like battles, and I like diss songs. I dont like them posting crap on Twitter or talking to reporters instead of talking to the other rapper though. And I like it when the offended rapper responds, and not tries to ignore being disrespected. I think Beef is stupid when things get violent or when it is done with the sole porpoise of getting fame and attention. I want G unit back, but only the 2 main members, 50 Cent and Lloyd Banks. Perhaps if they could find a new guy who is lyrically powerful like saigon, I dont know. But with their ability to find good beats, and a couple of good single releases, I think a strong G unit comeback can help the music get some ground back!
-
Game is again trying to be in the spotlight. How corny is this? If u want peace with G unit he better do that privately and after he finally gets it then he should make it public. And he statement there was just bragging about whatg he has done. I mean, when u lose ur job by being kicked out, do u brag about it? lol

Jay-Z Says "Takeover" Beat Out "Ether" Tuesday, 16 November 2010 | Written by Jason Jay-Z recently ranked his 2001 "Takeover" diss track (towards fellow rapper Nas and Mobb Deep) over the track Nas sent back (Ether). Despite that the two rappers have since put their problems behind them, Jigga thinks his song beat out Nas. It's been nine years and the great debate over Jay-Z vs. Nas still isn't over. Earlier today (November 15), Hov appeared on Peter Rosenberg and Cipha Sounds's podcast, "Juan Epstein," and during the interview, the Brooklyn legend said, despite popular opinion, that his 2001 diss record towards God's Son, "The Takeover" is better than Nasir's response track, "Ether." "I think in the history when we look back, and I don't mean no disrespect to Nas, I think when we look back it's not even close," he shared, adding, "I just think it was a better record." (XXL Mag) http://www.rapbasement.com/jay-z/111610-jay-z-thinks-his-diss-towards-nas-beat-out-nas-diss-towards-him-listen-to-both-here.html Well I dont think so. Inside the link they have both songs. Its been a while since I heard them, but after giving them a listen today I reconfirm that Nas killed Jay Z and threw him to the dogs with that song. What do yall think?

Well, I believe he is smart too, and he might demonstrate it with this new album. By the way, the runaway short film is really artistic.

I still love some of it because I know how to recognize the good inside whatever..
