  1. Ive only heard like ten minutes and it already feels kinda strange. He sounds like... he sounds like a black Joel Hodgson. Wake up.
  2. I'm not sure its coming out next month. Can it be delayed? Can it be delayed?
  3. You remember when the world was hot? Even at four in the morning? And now its just... Luckily I got a nice home to spend my time in...
  4. Still missing Dont Fight The Feeling though..
  5. Finally some results in the war against terrorism. One terrorist down, plenty to go!
  6. The name of the tour makes me kinda suspicius. It just doesnt seem likely. They hate Boom! Shake the Room and the name just sounds fake and wrong. Im more and more sure that its just bull****.
  7. Its one of the absolutely best tracks ever. I love it. Heard it about every day since two years back or so.
  8. The Sun huh... yeah... I remember.. "Zlatan Ibrahimovic leaves Ajax for Sunderland". Hope its true though, I pray to Will Smith that its true.
  9. Yeah Outkast has made some pretty bad stuff that I dont like, but they compensate it with fantastic depth in the lyrics that is nowhere around if I check NWA lyrics. And no Turntable, I'm sorry, they didnt use to live like that. Its like what Mel says, gangsters dont rap. And Ted, as I said, I do not like Rick for his lyrical content but for his humour and voice.
  10. Well I went to see the movie with my three friends and the first half hour was so boring that we just ran away to do something funnier, like eating cucumber.
  11. I would probably check it out if it wasnt for the fact that Snoop Dogg has been on every damn song Ive heard for the last ten years or so... kinda.. why does everyone has to make tracks with him? Ok, he's decent - but please.
  12. No. Melle Mel is the greatest rapper of all time. He made The Message, White Lines, Superrappin etc. He was the most important guy in the group Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five. Will has said that Mel was one of the rappers who had the most influence on him, but I dont think you can find a rapper from the eighties who doesnt say the same thing. I think its nice that he tries to go into wrestling. I hate the concept of it, think it sucks a lot and so but he gets to do something he likes to do and he can earn some money on it. Earcing money is a thing I believe isnt too easy for him nowadays, considering that his best years as a rapper definitly are long gone.
  13. Thats what a Dutch cause will do to ya, win.
  14. The content of the lyrics is the most important part of hiphop, at least in my opinion. Outkast got that, so does Will. If I was at all interested in flow, I wouldnt listen to JJFP.
  15. Uh why do like Slick Rick then if you don't like storytellin'? Because I like his humour and voice.
  16. There's no difference between The Godfather and NWA's music. N.W.A.'s music is telling violent stories, stories of power, stories of an outlaw life, the same thing that The Godfather and Scarface do. Dre had great, original beats for N.W.A. (And Tupac later on) and Ice Cube had (and still has) great flow and witty word play. It's good hip-hop with violent themes, and at the time it was very original. 50, on the other hand, comes off, to me at least, as a poor imitation of that original music. His flow is horrid and his lyrical skill (ignoring content) leaves much to be desired. He doesn't tell stories, he spits lines. You're right, it is now Gangsta gangsta gangsta. But the problem isn't that there's gangsta music, it's that there's nothing but gangsta music. Some is entertaining, but now it's to the point where it's repetitive and predictable. When N.W.A. hit, it was neither boring nor repetitive, it was original. Well, yes there is difference. There's a difference between movies and music, and between stories and stories. I dont like storytelling - especially not when it isnt really storytelling, it is the rapper trying to fool you that he is living a life he really isnt living. Like 50 Cent, Ice-T and the NWA dudes are doing. I dont really care about beats and flow - and if I did, it wouldnt help NWA. But sure, it might have been original, though I cant really get what the original thing would be really... And original doesnt automatically mean good. Yeah okey you go ahead and live in your little dream world where gangsta rappers are telling the truth while I continue live in reality.
  17. N.W.A. didn't make good hip hop and isn't a legend? Wow. They changed hip-hop in a major way. They launched Ice Cube, who is an outstanding political rapper, and Dr. Dre, who still dominates rap. Do you despise the movie The Godfather as well? "They changed hiphop in a major way"..Yeah thanks a lot for that... I think The Godfather is a good movie. N.W.A. didnt make good hip hop. In fact, I cant say they made hip hop at all. Same thing with Ice-T and 50 Cent. I think you probably would have thought the same thing if they came out as late as 50 did. Its the same ****. Gangsta gangsta gangsta, I got a gun in my wardrobe, a hoe in my closet and drugs in my pocket. Sometimes they blend it with some political words, but crap doesnt taste good even if you add sugar.
  18. Many people make good hiphop. Ice-T, 50 Cent, N.W.A. and other people on that level doesnt make good hiphop, nor are they legends.
  19. Dude has always been worthless.
  20. Joel Hodgson should release something.
  21. Actually, if he doesnt return with better beats, he shouldnt return at all.
  22. I dont know who this dude is.. but didnt Will mention him on a track or so?
