Veteran studio executive Joe Pichirallo is joining Will Smith's production company Overbrook Entertainment, according to Smith and his partner James Lassiter. Pichirallo will take on the new position as head of film production and development, overseeing the company's motion picture slate, which boasts more than 20 projects in development. Smith and Lassiter were attracted by Pichirallo's strong track record and "eye for material," they said. Pichirallo hopes to grow the company, which has a first-look deal at Sony Pictures Entertainment. After 11 years as a studio executive, including stints as one of the founding executives of Fox Searchlight and more recently as executive vp at Focus Features, Pichirallo was "ready to help lead a production company," he said. Dang Lerk, how many languages do you speak??? Hehe, I speak English, Swedish, Danish and Norwegian rather well, and I know the basics in Spanish and understand most German and Dutch.. A not so wild guess; majority of the world will think like I do a day that probably will come soon. But I aint going to force anyone.
