  1. I'm looking forward to it. I'm not a comic book person, so I had no idea what to expect going into the first Hellboy and I ended up loving it. The one's looking quite good.
  2. I gave it a listen today, outstanding! Lyrical it was great. The beats where solid, if a little out of the ordinary. I liked it so much I had to give it a second listen.
  3. For lazy folks: $66,000,000 this weekend, $107,321,000 total.
  4. Do you folks have links to some of Kel's music for anyone who doesn't know? I came across: The Building: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msXglnMFHxg The Wilderness Pt. 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyKW35_6E9g What else is good to check out? Link me please.
  5. Dogs rock and cats suck. A really lot.
  6. Yeah but if they wanna say something then please in a polite way! If they wanna criticize him then they shall do it but not that rude! I mean that just shows that ur not any better than them because ur cursing around and stuff like that. Ahahaha, that's right, the folks behind Cop Killer and Protect Ya Neck aren't being polite! Heavens nos!
  7. Man, Ice T's apology and Method Man's comments had more intelligence in them than any song I've heard on the radio lately. They where excellent, productive comments about the state of hip-hop. Soulja Boy was just the lightening rod for something that needed to come out. Rap is dead. I mean, sure, rap is alive in the sense that accordion folk music is alive, that some one, some where, still makes and cares about it. But as a main stream musical genre, it's dead. Rap, from beginning to end, is about lyrics. It's about rhyming. It's about stories. It's about complex flows. Otherwise it's just techno or metal or pop with a bassline. The reason its dead is because of people like Soulja Boy (and many others) don't bother to actually write lyrics any more. They have the opportunity, they have the buzz, they have kids' ears, they are the ones who are defining what rap is and will be. And they can't be bothered to even attempt to write lyrics? Hell, we have a forum full of lyrics that are leaps and bounds above what's on the radio now, and that's just sad. I agree with Method Man and Ice T, Soulja Boy's songs suck and he's squandering his opportunity. And because of that, the music that I love is dead.
  8. Voted! But Cookies, you need to work on your pitch! The voting website has a feature called MODEL OF THE WEEK that shows picture after picture of the MODELS OF THE WEEK. And then after you vote for Kel Spencer, there are more PICTURES OF MODELS. I highly recommend you go and vote, it's well worth the click! http://hiphoppalace.ning.com/
  9. Wow, I'm surprised, I thought it was a good movie! Very funny and interesting. Some of the plot was a bit vague and it was a little slow at places, but over all good.
  10. Thanks ya'll! Jazzy's doing great, he's growing into a cute little boy, man I married right. I do appreciate Will putting out movies for my birthday, it really is such a great gift! I saw Hancock, which was awesome, despite what other folks say. However, beyond that, my main excitement for the day has been taking a nap. Getting old sucks.
  11. I'm going to have nightmares tonight, thanks man.
  12. Bah, Star Wars died the minute Jar Jar opened his mouth.
  13. Is your life really that boring that you need to watch soulja boy videos just hate on it afterwards? :stickpoke: There's nothing wrong with staying abreast of the world around you, especially in areas that you're interested in, such as the state of hip-hop.
  14. Man, I know I'm old but... Poor little 17 year old crappy rapper worked so hard to make a ring tone!
  15. The vast majority of the JJFP tracks, a lot of the WS tracks.
  16. Here's a youtube version of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INcvz0gYXBE The t-pain sound, in general, drives me up a wall, but other than that, the tracks not too bad.
  17. He's allready in for 13, 15 years, releasing records. Dont forget his old group work. And I guess he'll release records for the next 5 years too. So that bet we lost. According to Wikipedia, he's been active for 11 years, popular for considerable less. So he'd need to keep recording for the next nine years. According to the Source, himself and Cash Money he's been active for 14 years. I guess thats a better source than Wikipedia. According to the cash money site, he's listed as 13 years, with his debut being on True Story in 95. But that's counting him as a 12 year old spitting a couple of versus on someone elses album as "releasing records" which I think is a stretch.

  19. Ahahahaha, thanks Bob, I can always count on you for a good laugh!
  20. I concur with the above, Father MC has a smooth 90's sound, very similar to Heavy D. I've been listening to Father's Day a bit lately, good stuff. Nothing too deep, but fun to listen to.
  21. That's exactly it man, he needs help. Pedophilia isn't something that someone just comes to one day and it isn't something that someone just passes on the next. It is a sickness and if it isn't treated, it'll continue. Btw, Turntable, where are you from?
  22. The interesting part was how the reporter was talking about Will's movies and Skillz was talking about Will and Jeff being hip-hop royalty.
