  1. Unfortuneatly it does:( Ehhh.... I said that not everyone but in many case. I rad article that about rappes in USA. Something about 50-70% of rapists declaiming that they're watching porno all the time or they watched it before rappe someone. Ok I'm off of this topic. I just warned you ppl, I'm not joked it was for real. My englsih skills aren't good anought to continue it. And 50-70% of rapist eat dinner beforing they rape someone. Correlation is not causation. Pornography is a huge industry, a huge number of people, at least in the US, watch pornography (of folks in there 20's, about half admit to it, I'd suspect many more lie). The vast majority of people do not rape anyone. Rape is not about sex, it's about power. If there was no pornography in the world, the number of rapes wouldn't decrease the by the slightest.
  2. Wow man, maybe it's the language difference, but that's some serious ignorance. Pornography watching doesn't lead to watching beastiality flicks. Nor does it lead to raping people. Nor does giving yourself pleasure lead to destroying yourself. Nor does masturbation have to cause problems with your spouse. Sexuality is a natural and needed aspect of human life, no different then eating, sleeping, and breathing. The represion of innate human desires causes far more harm and difficulty than acting on them. Perhaps your friend was having problems not because he watched pornography, but because he felt like there was something wrong with his natural feelings.
  3. Will it be released as is, or will there be scratches or an MC over top of it?
  4. Congrats Brakes! That was a great battle for both of ya! :2thumbs:
  5. Great battle ya'll, you both had some insane lines! :lolsign:
  6. All the cool kids are doing it! :) I can't wait for the disc to drop!
  7. Congrats! Just Rocken's my favorite, but all in all it's a hot album.
  8. Yea, it's kinda like an RPG with no graphics, it's a lot of puzzles. The different scenes are the ones sketched above in the outline, basically breaking the game up into sections. The game's all prompt based so the user would type in "examine limo" and that would give back the limo's description (and clues as to what to do with the limo. However, since this is a hip-hop game, I'm changing things around a bit so you can also say things like "check the limo" and what not.
  9. It's been a while, but I'm now ready to start working on the game again, and I'm looking for people to help out. It's written in Z-Code for any of you technical minded people. However, what we really need most is writers and designers, no programming experienced required. For writing, we need descriptions of objects, locations and dialog. For example, the opening scene is described as: "You're lounging on on your Italian leather couch in your living room with Common's latest jam bumping on your Sony. Across the room, on the south wall, is your marble fireplace with your two grammies sitting on top and the bearskin rug stretched out in front. To the left, just out the front door, you see Charlie Mack kicking it, rappen with O Money. Behind them you spot your Mercedies 500, Ferari 308, and, of course, your stretch Hummer limo, complete with the 23's, hydrolics, hot tub, DJ equipment, and fuzzy dice on the rearview mirror (you know how to ride in style). To your right, a fly ass honey walks back in from the kitchen, Pamela. No, Didi, no, Angela, no, damn..." And if the player chooses to examine his limo, this text comes up: "Man, this limo is DOPE! Stretch Hummer, word! Complete with the 23's, hydrolics, hot tub, DJ equipment, and fuzzy dice on the rearview mirror." We need text descriptions like that, and a lot of them. From the designer standpoint, high-level game-flow needs to be designed. For example, the opening scene would be sketched out as: Will is sitting in his crib, chillen with Gina, decides he needs to go pick up Jeff. - Will can talk to Gina - Will can leave the crib to the front yard - If he doesn't have his code-red gold album, it tells him that Gina may try and pawn it if you leave it there, not allowing him to leave. - Will can examine his house And then throw in some game-play elements in it as needed. From the programming standpoint, a little help is needed in just getting the text into the proper format, which is something roughly like this: object wills_house_front_yard "Will's front yard" with description "Nothen better then seeing your fleet", initial "^Stepping out into the sun and sporting your shades, you look around. Damn you love Philly. To your left, you see a few more of your cars; the Porche, Bently, and the Escilade, with it's spinners, big screen TV, and portable recording studio in the back (you don't play). Charlie Mack looks up,^ ^What up Prince, is Tina staying here?^ ^(Tina! That's the name to match the fine rear)^ Yea man, are ya'll ready to get to the set?^ ^Naw dog, Jeff aint' here yet^ ^Man, we don't have time for this.^ He must be finishing up his new disc.^ He's probably at his crib, mixen^ that joint with the sample of Nixon^ We'll pick him up and holla at Summer,^ I'm ready to jet, we'll take the Hummer^", w_to wills_house, has light; The way it should work is that the designer lays out the rough scheme and the writers will then use that to write all the descriptions, dialog, etc... Finally, the writers will give that to the programmers, who'll turn it into the game. (if ya want to write, program, and designed, that's cool too) Keep in mind, this is all based on text, no graphics, so there needs to be text written for everything. In these games, the way to make a rich environment is write up descriptions that are interesting and to write them up for a lot of different items. I'm working on the opening scene and scene 1. I have some sample stuff and docs together already that I can send/post for anyone who wants to be a part of this. Who wants to/can help? Post here, as well as what you want to do (write, design, program), and what particular scene you'd like to work on (opening, 1, 9, and 10 are already taken). If we can get a few more people working on this, it'd be great.
  10. He's The DJ... Those are all great songs, but on He's The DJ, Will spit's some fire like he hadn't done before or since.
  11. Looks great! I love being able to hear clips of the music. :2thumbs:
  12. Ok, I'm gonna get a lot of hate on this, but I'm starting to think that the numbers that Will's been doing are about right, here's why. Big Willie Style - 12 Mil - I don't care who's playing it, that's a ton of sales. Willennium - 2 Mil? - A big drop off from BWS, but still respectable. Keep in mind that this was released with, and heavily tied into, Wild Wild West, which wasn't exactly a successful venture. Also, this was the era when Napster was going strong, so 2 mil is still doing well. Born To Reign - 225k - The worst album Will's put out, so you expect it to do a lot worse than his other albums. Also, peer-to-peer is at it's all time high at this time, which doesn't help. Finally, look at the singles that where released - Nod Your Head, the movie/song tie in is played out (much like that phrase), especially by Will, and 1000 kisses, a good song, but not exactly the type of song that would attract hip-hop-heads to the disc. Why would any stations play either of those songs? Lost And Found - 660k - Good numbers again, but not great. P2P is still alive and kicking, but on a down trend. Considering the state of sales, probably on par with Willennium. But look at the singles put out, Switch - a club track designed for drunken dancing and some play on the top-40, and Party Starter - released WAY to late, another club track. I would say that the lack of sales isn't based on Will-Hate, but based on 1 - less than his best music, 2 - explosion of piracy, and 3 - horrible selection of singles.
  13. I don't think that would have made much difference at all. Switch is just not a good song for "black radio", it's a pop-rap song. Now, if you where to put Lost And Found, Tell Me Why, or even I Wish I Made That/Swagga on black radio, then we would see some serious numbers.
  14. Ahahahaha, look at his list of 20 best cds ever! http://www.amazon.com/gp/richpub/listmania...8950895-8337522
  15. Alright, my kind of topic! Here're a few shadow dreams I had in the past, and was able to achieve: Make video games Teach (ya, sounds like an odd dream, but it was a dream, and I was able to do it, and I loved it : ) Start a company (two of them, turns out starting them is the easy part! lol) Meet the love of my life And my current ones that I'm working on: Marry my lady and create and raise some wonderful kids Turn my companies from spending money generators to mortgage paying ventures Achieve financial independence Create a teacherless learning environment that can teach anything to anyone Create artificial life (yea, I'm cool) When it comes to dreams, I have a favorite saying: "I don't have dreams, I have goals!" And I really think that Nike had the best advice of all when they said "Just Do It", in my life, that seems to be the key to achieving my goals.
  16. Good battle! I liked this line by Hero: "dude come a little closer let me whisper this in your ear if I got rid of the morons, you wouldn't be here"
  17. Whoa, Born To Reign got a vote :hmm:
  18. It is a great album, much better than Love and Life.
