  1. I wasn't really sure what the deal was with the situation between KRS and Nelly, this thread cleared it up for me. Its nice to see Nelly likes and respects JJFP, I am a fan of Nelly, not a huge fan, but some of his stuff I like.
  2. That is a great article, it is because of Will Smith that a person like Bow Wow has the career that he does today, he needs to be more appreciative, and Will does keep it real, he stays true to himself, does what he believes in, and doesn't sell out or change just to make money.
  3. Getting shot in the head and surviving is not an easy accomplishment, I think he is decent as a rapper, not spectatcular. It does seem like a lot of people have been shot lately, thank God that no one has died.
  4. I thought the album was pretty good, the one with Twista and Bone Thugs and Harmony was good I thought. 1970 Something, House of Pain, and a few others I can't remember the names to really stood out as well.
  5. Overall, it has been a good year, looking forward to more success in 2006, and hopefully, some new music.
  6. Her show is garbage, I cannot stand to listen to it one bit, she has no clue about anything.
  7. Great news, cannot wait to hear this, nice to see he is still taking his music career in new directions even after twenty years, this is gonna be amazing.
  8. Its a great track, great storytelling by Will.
  9. The biggest factor I believe for Will to make it big again is not necessarily who he collaborates with, but to get better production for his albums, and better promotion. He needs some really hot beat from like Swizz Beatz or the Neptunes, and it really needs to be promoted, that is how he can become big time once again, at least in the mainstream sense of things.
  10. My goals in life include graduating from the University of Connecticut, making the UConn Basketball team, getting a steady, well-paying job and a place of my own when I leave, and to have a family. Seeing JJFP perform live would also be included in that list I would think.
  11. Yeah, I too found it a bit of a surprise that Ted, of all people, was sticking up for new school MC's. I do think that Ludacris has some talent, but he is average in my book. Sometimes, he'll be really good, and sometimes he can be boring, I see both sides of it, so in my mind, the reality lies in between.
  12. It's a shame, 50's album is #1 while Will is at #102, it goes to show how messed up the music industry is and what kind of garbage sells today.
  13. Nice to see him getting some love over there, there seem to be a lot of people at allhiphop.com that really respect his music. It would be really cool to hear some of his battles from back in the day, too.
  14. Here are some of my favorites: I call for the days of the unadulterated When the artistry was cultivated You know, back when rap was smart and multilayered We could rap without A&Rs& ultimatums (damn) States have been altered by liquor by weed And then hate gets exalted as art falls to greed Choices is made as the voices is layed On the track csontract your souls away Lost is when you hide behind the freedom of speech Well, sure, your free to do it But what do it mean to do it Did you take time to think about the seed you ruined Stage splitting in half, earthquake style Evacuate your premisses, the hardcore nemesis I never miss, my flow never flawed Grab mics and send electric shocks through the chord I'm sure that there are plenty more that I can't think of, I'll post them as I think of them.
  15. Haven't read that one before, but it is a good one.
  16. I went with Lost and Found, but Willenium, Code Red, and He's the DJ are all right there for me, they are all really on the same level to me, but I went with Lost and Found, mostly because I like the track Lost and Found so much, any of those four could be #1, though.
  17. I would say that Lost and Found and Willenium are tied for his best solo albums, I might give a slight edge to L&F, but nonetheless, Willenium is a great album, that cannot be denied.
  18. Yeah, I really don't think that song is any good. Will Smith "Wild Wild West"
  19. That is great news, now if only everyone else could start thinking the same way, like, the damn Grammy's. He definitely should have been nominated for album of the year, and he should have performed. It is an outrage that he isn't.
  20. That's great, sounds like it was a lot of fun, great job by Will throwing that party, too.
  21. While there might be a couple of aggressive tracks on that album, there is no way that the album as a whole can be considered aggressive, that is just downright ignorant.
  22. That's pretty cool, to be #1, that is awesome news!
  23. That would be an expensive film because the two of them are like the highest paid actors in Hollywood, but it would be nice to see. I do remember that 106 & Park when he said that, too.
  24. Lost and Found needs to be the song he is doing at performances, it needs to get out, people need to hear it because it is so true.
