  1. LOST is when you encourage murder in the street and FOUND is when you don't just have a hit cuz of a hot beat. LOST is when your lyrics are tired and overused and FOUND is when your lyrics leave other rappers confused.
  2. I agree, I have always liked Nas, he makes good music, and he appreciates the legends that have come before him.
  3. I don't understand the point of this question, because in my mind, I see them as one, but that's just me, what does everyone else think?
  4. These countless are so pointless I don't even know why I am wasting my time writing a post about it!
  5. He needs to be at least in the 20K range, this is getting out of hand.
  6. I think he should get into a beef with some gangsta rapper, because once he tears them apart, he would really have a spike in sales. His sales probably don't matter too much to him, but he has been performing a lot the past few months, while the label has done no promotion, like Party Starter, that will really help sales.
  7. I know, the sales will steadily decrease until the single is dropped, which sucks, but hopefully once it drops, the sales will really begin to rise. I wonder why they are waiting so long, though.
  8. Once I heard "Just a Moment" I knew that Quan was good, I really look forward to hearing more music from him.
  9. With downloading, albums just don't sell as much today as they used too, it is a sad truth in the music industry today.
  10. As XN said, we've got enough dumb rhymes right now, even with Party tracks, Will can still be intelligent, like on Party Starter. The reason he is so great is because he can do it all, any type of track.
  11. Well, I am very frustrated that the album is not selling well, simply because it is a good album, and people need to recognize that. Party Starter should have been released a while ago already, I don't know what the holdup is. On the other hand, I do agree with Ted that the charts are a gimmick, no old school rappers are getting any respect nowadays. Everyone is listening to Mike Jones, and 50 and saying how great they are, when in reality, they have very weak lyrics and no positive messages to convey. It would be nice to see Will get on some mixtapes, release a few singles at once, it can only help sales.
  12. That is absolutely horrible, time for the new video, I'm getting quite impatient.
  13. His rhymes need to be diverse, to be a great MC, you can't just be one or the other, you have to do it all, which Will has done.
  14. Will Smith feat. Biz Markie, Slick Rick, and Jazzy Jeff "So Fresh" Great song, I love the old school collaborations.
  15. That's pretty cool, always thought that was an underrated song.
  16. More collabos with old school rappers would be sweet, bring back the good old days.
  17. If he was to dumb the rhyme a little bit he would only be conforming to the current state of hip-hop which he is critical of on Lost and Found.
  18. Yeah, that's why Party Starter is so great, its got a message, or "food for thought," but its fun too. His serious songs will only bring him more respect in the rap game.
  19. Nice rhymes, Lerk, you can take his place in the game.
  20. I'm not that mad about it, but yeah, a video for "The Rain" would have been pretty sweet, it was a great song.
  21. I think a healthy dose of each is best because it proves what a complete MC he is. I put keep it real simply because that was he does on Lost and Found but there are still fun tracks, and I like his story telling songs.
  22. While I don't mind Mase, his last album I would say was decent, he had a couple of good tracks, but a lot of real bores. I was really expecting like a Kanye West like Jesus Walks song out of him, but it didn't happen and I was a bit disappointed. Will is in another league though, he has been clean his entire career, nearly 20 years, and is still tearing it up!
