  1. that would be cool, to hear will in concert
  2. Great interview, more music fans need to read that!
  3. Will is getting around and doing shows, so he is still into music. Once Tell Me Why is released, the album is really going to take off, because it isn't something people would expect from Will. He is a great entertainer, so there isn't any reason he can't act and rap at once.
  4. I thought the sales were going to be a little stronger, but the album can ride "Switch" for only so long. Within the next week, another single needs to be released to keep the public interested!
  5. Yeah, I have always loved that track, it has a great flow and is easy to memorize
  6. I don't have a problem with Will, he is paying his respects, and only did it once. Jay-Z seems to do it all the time, and I have to admit, I have lost some respect for him after reading that.
  7. Nice to see Will get some respect. I have always liked Nas, and his fans seem to be okay, too.
  8. I don't think the album will fail if "Tell Me Why" isn't released immediately, but the sooner, the better!
  9. Does anyone have any links they can put up to "Something Like This" or any of the other JJ+FP songs he raps really fast? I would really appreciate it!
  10. That is exactly where he belongs. Will is not only one of the greatest rappers of all time, but he is an A-list movie star, whose every movie is an automatic hit!
  11. That is absolutely ridiculous! Vanilla Ice had one hit, an extremely corny one at that which had the beat ripped off from someone else. Will has been rapping for nearly 20 years, won 4 grammys, including the first ever rap grammy, and has had numerous hits. He should keep his mouth shut!
  12. Yeah, a performance would be awesome! I think he should do Tell Me Why and Party Starter, in order to show how versatile he is!
  13. I'm sure he could if he really wanted to, but he tries to focus more on his lyrics than how fast he is rapping. I don't know why you all are hating on Twista, the last song he put out, the one on the Coach Carter soundtrack was good, and had a positive message!
  14. I agree, the more songs released, the better, but I believe Party Starter is one of Will's best lyrical song and would get a lot of airtime, so it should be the third single. It would be cool to see Snoop and Will in a video together, but Party Starter is a better song. I still say go with the approach of releasing Tell Me Why first. Then, like a month later, release Party Starter, L&F, and Pump ya Brakes all at once. That way, Big Will would totally dominate.
  15. Yeah, he is one of the topl directors in the industry, Will made a good choice.
  16. I gave it a 10 simply because it is not only his strongest lyrical album, it has everything. There are party tracks, issue tracks, responses, and everything else you could ask for. It his best album by far he has ever released.
  17. It is very nice to see BET finally appreciate Will Smith. Over the past week, I have seen "Switch" aired several times and now he, along with his wife, are hosting their awards show. Finally, they have got it through their heads that Will is quite talented. It took them a long time, but it is nice to see they have. Also, hosting the show will definitely boost album sales. It would also be cool to see a performance, not something that is usually done, a musical performance by the show's host. It would just prove how multi-talented Will is!
  18. I agree that Lost and Found would demonstrate the all-around versatility of Will, instead of Party Starter, although Party Starter is not a regular "party" track. He raps about his journey through the game and about A&R's and how wack the rap game is today. I say release Tell Me Why, Party Starter, and Lost and Found all at once to completely dominate the rap game.
  19. It's good to see Will rebound after Born To Reign. I still wish more people would buy the album, but it is nice to see at least some people recognize his skils, as evidenced by the consistency of his sales. While Will is still #14, 112 and Beanie Sigel, who both debuted ahead of Big Will, are now in #28 and #32, rightfully so. Will makes great hip-hop music and everyone should recognize that!
  20. That would be awesome, to see Wyclef and Big Will battling. I can't believe some of you didn't know who Wyclef was. Everyone knows about the fugees and wyclef.
  21. They would be absolutely crazy if they didn't play it. Tell Me Why is one of the greatest rap tracks of all time. They better play it!
  22. It was probably the robot in I, Robot, but maybe he put that in the song to make people think about it, it could be either one.
  23. Switch seems to be holding up well, that is true. I just wish more of the hip-hop stations would appreciate one of the greatest of all-time. Not only that, but if Switch is holding at #4, Party Starter and Tell Me Why should go #1, because they are both much better tracks.
