Yeh, it all depends on Will's mindset i guess. If he wants to hit the charts and therefore a more poppy approach or straight up old skool JJFP the way we love it and Jeff just release it independently like all his other stuff.
Considering for ages Outkast as a duo promised new music, I'd be dissapointed if they dont do one more. Big Boi has put out two very good solo albums in the last few years. Im also annoyed at myself for not going to one of their festival shows this summer. My workmate is literally watching them live right now at Bestival on the Isle of Wight. I was just hoping for some proper tour nights and not on the festival circuit.
As for that clip. Sounds like Will learnt lessons from this. Yes he stood for what he believed was right, but at the end of the day he was just an actor in a TV production, even if he was the main star. Gotta let people do their job.
Seven Pounds got panned by critics, and i wasn't overly keen on it on first watch. But it has grown on me over the years. The whole story is very ant-Hollywood. But i enjoy the characters in it, and Rosario Dawson especially.
Good work Julie. Its really taken off here in the UK. A lot of money raised and my facebook feed is filled with videos of people doing it. Playing by the six degrees of seperation rule and the amount of people each person nominates. The Whole world will have been covered soon enough ;-)
Has anybody on here been nominated to do this. I have. Gonna do it this eve. The weather in the UK is already terrible at the moment. Maybe a downpour when i film it anyway.
Since 2000. My Top 15 would be, in no particular order
Outkast - Stankonia
Lupe Fiasco - Food & Liquor
Ugly Duckling - Journey to Anywhere
Jazzy Jeff - TROTM
De La Soul (First Serve)
De La Soul - The Grind Date
Q-Tip - The Renaissance
Will Smith - Lost & Found
Jurassic 5 - Quality Control
Run DMC - Crown Royal (Most people hate it)
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - The Heist
Dilated Peoples - Expansion Team
Big Boi - Sir Luciosu Leftfoot...
Beastie Boys - Hot Sauce Commitee Part 2
7L & Esoteric and Inspectah Deck - Czarface
Although i probably bought more albums released in the '90s in the '00s than i did post 2000 ones lol.
