Saw MIIIB last night. Was decent enough. Clever in places, kinda funny. Didn't quite come together as a great movie but will keep fans happy. What's left of them. You start to realise how dreadful that Pitbull song is when the credits roll though.
I own the 12" vinyl of Where's The Party. I think there maybe 2 Jeff mixes on it.
The reason they didn't blow up AJ???? Timing.
in 1992 it wasn't cool for a new group to come out with something like this.
Probably got posted back in 2009 when he first dropped it. But i've just come across it.

Think Julie summed up the evening perfectly. The Set last night was definately amongst the best i've heard Jeff do. He keeps adding to his routines to keep it fresh. His calssic Peter Piper and Rock The Bells routines he's famous for keep getting better and he's trying new things. Here's a video clip i shot when i was up on stage.
This is a big loss to Hip-Hop. As far as experimental Hip-hop in later years and crossover success early on. Nobody could match what The Beasties brought to the table.
Their last album was really good too.
I'm generally saddened by this. Definately one of my top 5 fave Hip-Hop groups
She had her fun with it. I'm sure she'll end up doing very well for herself in other areas. She's soo young. The best years are very much in front of her.
Live Musically is a pretty unique 9 days for me. Tonight i go see my favourite ever band play their farewell UK show in London. Then a week Wednesday we go see Pure Hip-Hop goodness in DJ Jazzy Jeff. Eclectic music taste is in my blood.
