  1. Classic, hopefully we'll be right up there near the front. Its a long winded wait im sure but would be worth it. What sort of time did Will perform 4 years back Brakes? I assume it was before the red carpet celebrations
  2. As i have gotten older i realise the music i want to hear i just have to search harder for. I am pretty much missing a lot of the music on TV and Radio these days. Slightly by choice because i dont see the point anymore. I know the bands i like, and their influences so that sends me in the right direction to find new music if and when i want to.
  3. Thats a fair enough statement. We all judge things on different merit, and as far as musical and atmosphere excitement goes it will be up there with the best im sure. Meeting Jeff for the first time a couple of years back was one of my greatest nights.
  4. I am soo hyped now its this close. Only just really kicked in recently. With 5 JJFP Fam members set to meet up too it should be a good day as a whole, and a showcase to how well this site has brought people together over the years. Im sure a group photo of the get together will put a smile on your face Tim
  5. Thats all i need to hear. ONE WEEK TO GO. Woooo!
  6. Yeh it was, unless of course that was sampled from somewhere else in the first place.
  7. Awesome video, would do the original proud i am sure.
  8. I got love for Weezer. Kings of their geek rock craft.
  9. 7 more work days after today woo! Its gonna drag, but the light at the end of the tunnel is visible. I've been luke warm with excitement so far, but now its June its starting to kick in. Im glad other people from here are going, so im not the only loon rapping along to every word.
  10. Currently working as a Dsiclosure Services Administrator in Sheffield. Living with 2 awesome friends i went to Uni with. Sheffield is a good city, always plenty to do. Hoping to find myself a better job soon, but where i am at now isn't terrible, just rather tedious work.
  11. If i was in a tad richer situation right now i would go to Manc for that show. But im on a real budget at the mo as i have just bought a new laptop, and wanna have some money to throw around whn im down in London.
  12. Just shows how many people that album reached out to. Plus most Hip Hop fans are white lol.
  13. Well mine is pretty straight forward. Advertising Jeff's album with a personal touch in the photo.
  14. Thanks again guys. Truly was a memorable week, and great to have seen so many of my friends in various places. Got a ton of photos up from the week on my facebook now.
  15. Yeh. Martin Lawrence is making too many poor family comedies at the moment.
  16. Im planning June to be a month of postive change for me, but to have fun along the way.
  17. Yeh Chuck even said until this tour they had never even played some of these songs live ever. The Bomb Squad were there too to talk about producing the album. Was really a one of a kind show.
  18. Yeh, had a live band too, so made songs like She Watch Channel Zero pretty dam rocking.
  19. As for PE. Well how the hell a couple of dudes in their mid to late 40s have the energy to pull off a 2 hour show i dont know, Much respect to Chuck D. Still word for word spitting his tunes perfectly. It is the 20th anniversary of It Takes A Nation... So they performed the whole album straight through. With a bit of banter between songs. Chuck D is a legend simple as. For the 20 minute encore they performed other hits in a medley, He Got Game, Fight The Power, 911 is a joke, Public Enemy No.1, Shut 'Em Down. Was so energectic filled. Wasn't as close as the night before but it didnt matter cos the crowd was rocking all over. Flava even had the energy to stage dive and crowd surf at one point.
  20. Yeh man, this is a proper Old School time for me. Great to see groups like this still performing. Here is a few pics from the De La Show. We got pretty dam close to the front which was cool. They knocked out a good collection of hits and medleys of others. Maseo has great skills at hyping a crowd. I messaged Pos on the De La myspace to say what a great show it was and he replied saying "glad you enjoyed it as much as we did" You could tell they still loved what they are doing after all these years.
  21. Its just straight up Bull**** that they couldn't reschedule.
