  1. 1 month is a very long time :speechless: yeah i wish someone from this board lived in Africa
  2. well the "secret" concert that Will did b4 the album released that is to be released later this month had Mary J. on it
  3. JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA Monday Apr.18.2005 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- MTV Network is getting ready to launch its 100th channel, and Ludacris and Will Smith will be on hand to help celebrate the event. Allhiphop.com reports that this Wednesday, April 20, Ludacris and Smith are set to headline an open-air concert in Johannesburg, South Africa to mark the launch of MTV's newest channel, called "MTV base." MTV base is the network's first local African music channel. Over 10,000 fans are expected to attend the Ludacris-Will Smith show, which also features talent from across Africa. MTV plans to air highlights from the Johannesburg concert on its other channels sometime next month. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i wonder if there's some way 2 hear this! i'd really like 2 hear this. i don't know of anyone here that lives in Africa and would be able tape this but it says it will be broadcasted on other MTV channels next month. hey Tim, tell us if there's anywhere we can hear the performance live!
  4. Nope but thats the song they perform at the rap party 1988-file that you can find in the audio forums (dunno if it was in the potnas forum or in the other one but check around) oh, that's called the "Collapsed In The Street Edit" to be correct. that's why i got confused!
  5. throw Chosen One on that CD and i'll be the first one in line....
  6. i didn't even know there was a street remix. do u have this track, Lerkot?
  7. in all of my heart, i really wanna say "yes, it's still possible for them 2 come back as JJFP!!" when realistically, i'd say no, it's probably not gonna happen. the older they get, the farther away they r from being those goofy teens that first came out as JJFP. i think if they did a JJFP album similar to Code Red, they could do it, but if they tried 2 reclaim their previous style of the first 4 albums, it wouldn't work 2 good. a JJFP album would definitely be dope with more of Jeff, but i think Will has grown out of that phase in his life.
  8. i don't think Will is gonna be on it. he wasn't on the last one, and i don't see why it's gonna change. Will is doin his own thing, and on Will's albums u barely even notice Jeff. Now Jeff is doin his own thing, and Will just ain't gonna be on it. now i'm sure Will gives feedback and who knows might even produce some of it, but i don't think we are gonna hear him. who knows, i could be wrong tho
  9. nice review, but 2 bad that stupid writer can't figure out who Ms Holy Roller is dedicated 2 even tho Will says on the track :toetap:
  10. remember rockthehouse lives in Germany and they L&F aint released there yet. anyways, ur right. the Elephant Man remix is pure crap.
  11. hey that's alright Ted, cuz different people have different taste. u obviously have old skool taste which is why u like KRS-One, PE, Rakim, etc. Frenetic obviously likes the new cats in the game and doesnt listen 2 that much ol skool which is why he likes Jay-Z and Kanye
  12. please man, 50 cent? first of all, it wouldn't happen because 50 wouldn't have enough respect for keepin it clean and not cursin. second of all, 50 has no rap skills, nor does he sound good, nor can he even talk right. i don't know why u like him for? sure he's got dope beats, but that's about it and the last time i checked, that doesn't qualify u as a good rapper back 2 the original post, i dunno about Justin cuz that could get Will a rep of bein "pop" again like with Gettin Jiggy and Freakin It. i'd rather see him work with Usher, that would be hot!
  13. well that's a very good point that the summer time isn't a good time 2 release Tell Me Why. but, i'm not gonna argue cuz i'm just glad Will is doin his thing with this album and that there's actually already one single already released that's not a movie soundtrack and that there's more to come. i think that Tell Me Why will still be successful because it's such a powerful song, but i do agree that right now is not the best time to release it
  14. hey rockthehouse, where u been? if u woulda been around during album release u could've heard the album streaming on VH1 and found out the producers! anyways, half of the tracks are produced by The Freshmen, which i don't know a whole lot about, but they're new. Kwame produced Switch. that's all i can think of. u can go 2 www.allmusic.com and go search Will Smith - Lost & Found to find the producer of each track i think.
  15. probably the rarest thing i have that i actually bought is the Freakin' It single with Holla Back or the Lovely Daze single which is pretty sad :tear:
  16. that's great news! man switch is climbin in just about every chart!! it would be great if it went #1!
  17. :birthday: Happy Birthday Angel! hope u get some JJFP related gifts :kekeke: :birthday:
  18. wow that show was just as dope as the concert!! i'm glad that Will is referring to them as Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince now. that shout out 2 Tim was really cool also!! JJFP need 2 release that remix of I Wish I made That cuz it was dope! i love how Jazzy was settin on fire and changin the beats. also the Chosen One rap over the Lean Back beat was pretty good! i seriously think JJFP are back now better than ever! can't wait 2 go pick up that live DVD :dancingcool:
  19. i think u r the youngest active member right now. i think willsmithfan1 is 12, but she doesnt post anymore.
  20. man i remember when i met u, u were still like 19 or so. ur startin 2 get old man!! j/k
  21. no no Trax u can put up Shy Guy. i didn't mean u shouldn't put up that one too, just the TV appearances :thumb: and thanx 4 the Freakin It video!
  22. yeah i know and besides i was being sarcastic. hey Bracesup you could always order the JJFP albums online from a place like Amazon if money isn't a big issue
