  1. thats really cool! nice find vipa!
  2. wow this is crazy. over where i live the weather is acting up too. last week we had sunny 70 degree weather that felt like summer and now tonight we might get temperatures in the 20's (which never happens) and a possibility of snowing (which hasnt happened in like 15 years)
  3. me neither. i have a feeling that this one may take me a little longer to get than the first 2 seasons because of time and money issues.
  4. wow... it was pretty serious until the teacher got interviewed and started making fun of the word... "can you lend a ni**a a pencil?" :lolsign: man i dont think that teacher learned his lesson poking fun at the situation like he did.
  5. wow season 2's price is really low! maybe i should wait a couple months before i get season 3 so the price goes down.
  6. that's cool i would be worried about performance and looks too if i had a car that nice. unfortunately my car is dying and worth nothing so all i can worry about is the sound system :kekeke:
  7. Kel Spencer - Stick Em what a track. i love this track
  8. haha no need for window tint when your rolling with a nice bright beige interior and as for the subs well my system is loud enuf though i rather the nice loud (115db) tone of my exhaust hehe no system is loud enough without subs. here's some of my personal car audio devices these are some pretty average cheap costing 2-way speakers that sound pretty good, not the best, but good ahh... the head unit, my pet peeve. i shouldn't have bought that cheap ass Boss Audio unit. it distorts at loud sounds, and the cd player stopped working out of 1 channel which would have to be the D/A converter. i'll probably have to replace it with a NICE head unit like a pioneer or sony or kenwood these are my babies - 2 kicker comp c10's. 150 watts RMS each. u can see the 2 amps that power it. really tho those amps are cheap, u should be able to power those subs with one amp but as u can see i just keep building and building my system up as i go along outside of that my car is a piece of crap with a failing transmission and tired engine and 164,000 miles on it and that could die any day now
  9. for those confused those are links to DMC's myspace and website where u can listen to tracks off his upcoming album. i gotta be honest, i might not buy the album if it all sounds like that. i have no problem with the rock beats, i like them, but they arent as good as a perfect hip hop beat. in watchtower (see myspace link) he sounds horrible, like a weedwhacker as Will would say on FPOBA. machine gun is a lot better and the message is good. the problem is that i cant focus on the song for 4 minutes when its some rock guy sayin the same chorus over and over or when DMC isn't really rapping his verses. i'm not dissapointed because i didnt expect much from a man who can hardly talk, but if the whole album sounds like that then why would i waste my money?
  10. :mygod:       :lolsign: :lolsign: :lolsign: thanx tho i really needed a good laugh Funny? No. AT THIS POINT he his in talks of sales, critical appeal and awards. All time of course not. yes, in terms of sales, public acceptance and awards you're right but IMO, he's not close to making the best hip-hop music out there today, he is just more popular than all of them
  11. Dead Prez - Happiness tim, i gotta send u this track too, it's exceptional.
  12. :sipread: should i be surprised? should i waste my energy? naw not worth it
  13. :mygod:       :lolsign: :lolsign: :lolsign: thanx tho i really needed a good laugh
  14. trust me, i've seen that list and so so much more. there's a list of about 30 songs that subliminally indicate the 7 day theory or talk about death. the 7 day theory is quite a coincidence, especially since one of his albums was named that. i think that Pac knew about the ememies he had in the rap game and that the odds were stacked against hin which is why he made comments about it. i must say tho that he is quite good to make all of those predictions throughout his songs numerous times and have them be right. i think 2pac is dead and i'd just like the man to rest in peace instead of people theorizing about him. enjoy his music and his work and respect him. i think it would be very hard for him to still be alive and have hidden it this whole time.
  15. this is like a trick question isn't it tim, cuz u already know the answer don't u? lol. i voted yes.

  20. yeah i live about 6 hours away from LA. kbf should live a lot closer tho. have fun man!
  21. i think this is the easiest way i can accurately define it: hip-hop is a culture, an artform consisting of several ideas upon which people live their lifestyle. rap is one of those ideas, which consists of rhyming over a beat. the reason we call alot of music with rapping on it "hip-hop" is because it represents the hip-hop lifestyle. the music genre "rap" is just rhyming over a beat and doesn't necessarily represent the same views of "hip-hop" music.
  22. wow thats great 4 u tim! have fun and make sure to snap some pics or get an autograph or whatever u can from Jeff!
