that's totally off man. Lost & Found is hip-hop at its best. i think ur saying that all stuff thats is ol skool is hip-hop and all new stuff is rap. i would have to disagree. there are still artists that make hip-hop today. now as far as what Damian said, technically hip-hop is a culture, a way of life. and rapping/emceeing is 1/4th of the hip hop culture. but today, alot of people call old skool and clean rap "hip-hop" and newer stuff "rap". but the real meaning behind the words hip-hop and rap was already stated. hip-hop = culture, rap=a way to rhyme words over a beat

i don't think Jeff has enough acting skills to pull off a main character in a blockbuster movie. no offense but he's not as good of an actor as Martin Lawrence. music is definitely Jeff's niche and i'm glad he stuck to it.

that sounds like a very interesting show and i will look forward to seeing it. i'm also excited that DMC will be releasing an album. i don't know what to expect tho. can DMC still rap? will it be more rock than rap? hopefully i'll like it.

that rule is for JJFP music since this a JJFP board. we could care less about album music from KRS and LL.

i'd add Roots - Illadelph Halflife and Run DMC - Raising Hell to that. edit: Roots - Illadelph Halflife does have a parental advisory sticker on it, but its not full of cussing like alot of todays rap.

most of the old school rappers at the same time as JJFP are clean. try: Eric B & Rakim De La Soul A Tribe Called Quest LL Cool J Public Enemy Ultramagnetic MC's Run-DMC there are plenty of new school rappers that cuss minimally and have good messages like: Mos Def Talib Kweli The Roots Little Brother - they have more cussin but they're real concious rappers Immortal Technique - he cusses alot actually so beware, his subject matter is good tho Da Ace - check him out, he's got clean raps and fresh rhymes straight out of the 2006

yeah if u rapped like will smith or slick rick i would like it, but u can't! even if u could rap as good as 50 at least that means u have some skill. but i wouldn't even call what u did rapping. u sound just as bad as that "freestyle battles gone wrong" video with raindrop and that other guy that someone posted a while ago.

well this song is old news where i live. it got played like 2 months ago, but it got overplayed for me. it was on the radio nonstop and it was on everybody's myspace and i just got tired of it. it was overplayed for me.
