damn how are we supposed 2 get b-sides and remixes now? this really pisses me off (and that doesn't mean i'm drunk to all those UK people). it's a lot more expensive and takes more time to import singles from other countries these days. hopefully Party Starter will be released as a single overseas somehow.

no Max the show wasn't cancelled, it was just a rumor. it moved time slots i believe but it's still on TV. i've never seen the show myself.

well it's a no-brainer for me. i'd choose together. if i had to choose one or the other i'd choose Big Will.

if u mean albums including the ones during his time with DJ Jazzy Jeff - then he's made 9 albums not including the compilation albums. if u count the compilation albums, he's made 13 when u count the 2 Greatest Hits albums + Platinum & Gold + Before The Willennium.

Don't you think there are some people that downloaded Will's album and decided not to buy it? i do that to some artist's albums too that if we were living in a different age i would definitely buy it. if i can do it, so can other people. so many people download albums these days. there's no doubt in my mind that Will's sales would be higher if it weren't for the piracy of music that exists today. ← Oh okay, I meant at a level of going platinum. Don't you feel the same way too? :hmm: :smart: ← I'm not sure what I think. do i think there have been some sales denied from internet piracy? yes. the question is how many sales? i think L&F will go platinum anyways, so piracy won't affect that much. let's say it sells 1.5 million copies. do i think piracy denied Will from selling 2 million and going 2x platnum? i THINK so. i'm not sure how much downloading has affected peoples sales and if it would actually make 500,000 people in the US not buy Will's album. all i know is that where i live all of my friends download albums and if i take those same friends and multiply them all accross the the state and then multiply that by the 50 states in the US, you'd probably get 500,000 or more. i think i reasearch study needs to be done to see just how much internet piracy is affecting artist's album sales.

waiiiit hold up! when did Carlton get shot? maybe i haven't seen this episode but i'm pretty sure i don't remember Carlton gettin shot. Carlton took drugs in one episode and Will got shot in a different episode but i don't remember Carlton getting shot. mine's like the rest of y'alls. i wouldn't said i cried, but i had a tear in my eye like Tim said during the last episode and during the episode where Will's dad came back.

oh yeah, baby :1-say-yes: i agree with the rest of y'all whole-heartedly. on the one hand i really want Will to do good, it's my natural inclination as a fan to want Will to do the best he can, to get the message out there to as many ears as he can. on the other hand, what Will may be thinking (sales don't matter that much) also rings true. Will's just doin what he's doin, makin great music, continuing the legacy. So who cares if he doesn't sell a lot because he's not a commercial mainstream rapper and he doesn't care so much about sales, but about putting out a quality record for the true fans to enjoy. that, my friends, is the dilemma. like Tim said, this may be partly Interscope's fault. i apologize to Will because i have gotten pretty upset looking at the sales and questioning Will when it may not even be his fault. he has been doing hella perfrormances to try and spread the word, so maybe he is trying his hardest to promote the album and increase sales. either way, Will is a legend and this album is definitely legendary. i just want the best for Will and the best for this album.

i voted, and my goal is to vote on those everytime i come and visit the board, until the list gets too long :lolsign:

hey Tim, do u know anything about when a Party Starter single will be released? i remember the Switch single didn't even get released in the US but i hope the PS single does and i also hope it has a remix or a b-side or somethin!

:word: i remember that. people who weren't on this board during the release of L&F might not be aware of the leaking that was going on back then and the controversy and chaos that was surrounding the board.
