well i don't believe Tell Me Why was recorded for B2R like some people say. Will said about 3.5 years ago. 3.5 years ago will was probably already preparing for the release of B2R (it released a lil over 3 years ago). of course, when Will wrote the song it could've been durin the B2R era, but i don't think he quite recorded it then. of course Will's even said how he's always in the studio recording, so he could be recording the hit record for his next album right now as we speak! :lolsign: well, actually now that i look at the facts, Jam Master Jay died on October 30, 2002, a little less than 3 years ago. he probably had the idea for the song and some of it written out back then, but the track obviously wasn't finalized. who knows, Will might've been exaggerating when he said 3.5 years ago.. maybe he meant 2.5 but whatever, lets get back on topic i'll definitely keep my eyes and ears out for PS making the video... that would be sweet and by the way whoever said the reason B2R didnt sell that much was because it only had one single, is not completely true. there were a lot of factors including promotion, single choice, and just it wasn't as good as L&F all around.

well there is definitely better options than releasing the single from their beloved movie soundtrack and then waiting 4 or 5 months and then releasing one of the weaker songs from the album (in my opinion at least). tracks like Act Like U Know, Block Party, and How Da Beat Goes were potential singles that would have been better choices. :smart:

The same Sony Music people seem to hate now is the same Sony Music that brought us Big Willie Style and Willenium. As much as we may believe Sony was entirely responsible for Born 2 Reign and evil for dropping Will inspite of the fact that Will himself was eager to leave and to become more engaged in Overbrook, lets not forget Big Willie Style and Willenium. Will doesn't seem to have any anomosity towards Sony, I don't see why the fans should. its a pretty good track... i'm not a huge fan of any kind of rock whether it be soft, punk, metal or whatever, but rock music was my fist love - it's the kind of music that got me started loving music when i was like 5 or 6 so i have a spot in my heart for this kind of song.

at first i liked the radio edit, but the whole egyptian thing and the voices in the middle of the song is just wrong. i do like the radio edit's beat a lil better, but i think i have 2 go with the original after listening to them both a lot.

i guess Julie needs an explanation from her veteranarian then!
