  3. Just watched a bit of it. DaBrakes does the opening on the concert remind you of Leicester Square ?
  4. :wtf: Did you actually see any performances from London ??
  5. No Way was Snoop's performance weak, the crowd was loving it !!, and he evan had Sir Paul rocking to the beat. and sorry Bracesup but the velvet revolver were ridiculed by nearly everyone after their performance
  6. I got my copy saturday morning, I haven't had chance to watch it yet though as I was watching live 8 all day !!
  7. I can't believe some people are moaning at will's performance, just be happy he and jeff were at the greatest concert ever anyway, it's coming up to 3 am here, i just finished watching the philly highlights on bbc, i decided to watch the london concert first the whole way through. Anyway it was the most amazing day ever, I watched the whole thing from 1pm till about 2:30 am. Snoop and Mariah Carey's performances were awsome, Madonna certainly still has what it takes even though see's been doing it so long Also i don't think there is any better way to end a concert than Paul McCartney and the crowd singing the end to 'Hey Jude' together I don't know what other awards or honours to give to Bob Geldof, but he certainly deserves every one. It's now up the G8 to do the right thing. Also rumor has is Nelson Mandela will be at the scotland gig this week, i hope it's true his appearance would really and momentum to the whole campaign, even though he already gave a speach at the Live 8 concert in South Africa.
  8. That doesn't explain geoff the butler not being there :shakehead:
  9. I can't wait for the concert to start. I'm gonna be watching from 1 pm till 3 am next morning, that includes the london and philly concerts
  10. Can somebody work out the time difference to the UK, so we know when it's gonna bo on BBC
  11. Big Will, will be doing his soundcheck at 4:50 pm friday, so if you can get down there, you might catch a sight of him, or hear what songs he's doing as of yet no time for when he'll perform, but maybe it's going in the order they are doing sounchecks The Live 8 acts will start running through sound checks and camera blocking tomorrow on the stage set up at the Art Museum. Though loudspeakers will be limited to the stage area and sets will be short, a production official says the music will be loud. A production memo lists Keith Urban going on at 10 a.m., followed at 11 by Sarah McLachlan and Josh Groban, Bon Jovi at 12:15, Rob Thomas at 1:20 p.m., Def Leppard at 2:10 p.m., Toby Keith at 4 p.m., Will Smith at 4:50 p.m., Kanye West at 5:55 p.m., Linkin Park and Jay-Z - now that's a combo - at 7 p.m., and Stevie Wonder at 8:05 p.m. Saturday - the day of - sound checks are due to begin with Destiny's Child at 7 a.m. Then it's Jars of Clay (7:30), Dave Matthews (8), Alicia Keys (8:30), Kaiser Chiefs (9), and Black Eyed Peas, with the Marleys (9:30). The big show is to start at noon." Philly.com
