Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, Muse Added To Grammy Show Usher, Jaden Smith, B.o.B, Janelle Monae and Lady Antebellum will also perform on February 13. While Willow Smith is the one who made music headlines with "Whip My Hair" last year, it's her brother, "Karate Kid" actor Jaden Smith, who will take the stage at the upcoming 53rd Grammy Awards in a special performance alongside Usher and Justin Bieber, with whom he collaborated on the song "Never Say Never" last summer. The trio joins a list of new performers added to the show on Thursday (January 20) that will also include another power trifecta made up of B.o.B, Bruno Mars and Janelle Monáe, according to a press release from the Recording Academy announcing the additions to the February 13 telecast from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Also taking the stage next month will be nominees Muse and Lady Antebellum. They will join a roster of previously announced performers that includes Eminem, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Arcade Fire, Cee Lo Green and Miranda Lambert. It will be the first time on the Grammy performance stage for Bieber, B.o.B, Lambert, Mars, Monáe, Muse and Smith. Eminem, Green, Gaga, Perry, Usher and Lady Antebellum will be making return visits for the occasion. While 11-time Grammy winner Eminem leads the pack in nominations this year (with 10 nods), Mars has seven nominations, and Gaga and Lady Antebellum are not far behind with six nods each. B.o.B has notched five, Perry and Green are each up for four, and Arcade Fire and Lambert are vying for three awards. Bieber, Muse, Usher and Monáe are each nominated for two Grammys. No details of the collaborative performances were released, but the Grammy announcement promised a rare, never-before-seen event for the Mars, B.o.B and Monáe segment. With the addition of Antebellum, all five Album of the Year nominees (Eminem, Arcade Fire, Gaga, Perry) are now scheduled to perform on the show. Additional performers, presenters and special segments will be announced soon. http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1656279/justin-bieber-bruno-mars-muse-added-grammy-show.jhtml

More interviews.. Tatyana Ali Talks New Sitcom, 'Love That Girl!', Advice From Will Smith & Willow's 'Whip My Hair' Tatyana Ali’s new sitcom, Love That Girl! is the first chance The Fresh Prince of Bel Air alum has had the opportunity to play an adult character on a regular series in primetime television. And the 31-year old is also stretching her wings behind the scenes— she's a producer of the show. VIBE caught up with Tatyana to discus Love That Girl!, advice she got from Will Smith, and what she thinks of Willow Smith’s Whip My Hair. —Ronke Idowu Reeves VIBE: While watching Love That Girl! and seeing you as Tyana Jones, I don’t think of Ashley Banks at all. What are the differences between the two characters? Tatyana Ali: Oh really? Thank you! Well, they are totally two different people. Ashley was reserved and needed guidance to set her free. Tyanna’s is the exact opposite she needs people to hold her back. Whatever it is that she thinks she’s after, she’ll do whatever it takes to get it. There’s courage in her that I admire and I wish I had myself. How involved were you with creating the character of Tyana, she’s a young divorcee and very independent. All of [show creator] Bentley [Kyle Evans', and executive producer] other series had male leads—Martin, Jamie Foxx, but he wanted this one to be female driven show. That’s what immediately attracted me to the show. So, he came to me with the pilot script already written. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a character like Tyana. She’s well-rounded, dynamic and a little bit of everything. She’s multidimensional those characters are far and few in between so I jumped at the chance to play her. What can viewers expect to see this season on Love That Girl! There’s gonna be everything from clowns to stripper poles. It’s a lot [laughs.] Tyanna’s trying to find herself and we have a lot of funny dating episode. There’s a lot of comedy in it but a lot of real heart and emotion too. Will Smith began as the star of Fresh Prince and ended up being a 'Big Willie' producer of the show. Now you're wearing both star and producer hats on Love That Girl! What’s that like? I’m going thru a lot of stuff that I saw Will go thru, the worry and the exhaustion. I didn’t understand it when I was little but now I totally get it. It’s a lot to take on but I’ve been prepared for it. Hopefully the show will be on for a long time if it means something to people. So it matters what we say, what we do and the stories that we are telling. I put in a call to Will while we were shooting because there’s a lot of responsibility involved. What advice did Will give you? Will told me was that essentially there should always be a moral to every story that we tell. A lot of time you want it to be funny and you’re concerned about the comedy. And spend a lot of time going thru jokes and adlibs. And our writers are on stage with us while we’re filming and they’re changing jokes last minute. But heart of the show and what really grips people is that lesson, that moral, that thing that’s true. What the character is going thru. That’s why people love sitcoms, characters might make mistakes but they find out what’s right and wrong at the end of every storyline. Do you keep in touch with others from The Fresh Prince cast? Yes we all keep in touch. I’m really close to Karyn Parsons; she played Hillary on the show. We see each other for holidays and birthdays. And Will has always been a mentor to me, especially when I first decided to start my production company four years ago. He’s a great teacher. Any chance any of the actors from Fresh Prince will ever make guest appearances on Love That Girl? I would love that. We just shot the first thirteen episodes of Love That Girl! and we’ve talked about it. That would be fun and everybody on Fresh Prince are all incredible actors in their own right. It would be amazing. And speaking of Will, what did you think of his daughter Willow’s pop hit 'Whip My Hair'? Omigod, I loved it! And as old as I am I like, 'Whoo hoo!' [laughs] First of all Willow sounds amazing, she’s so cool. But she was cool since she was a baby. And that song is so positive in a cool way. It’s about confidence, having self-esteem and not caring what other people think. And everybody needs hear that any age. For some reason, Willow's song and video took me back to your pop singing career. Uh, yeah right. But I have to tell you I was not as cool as Willow. I’m not as hip. I don’t think I’ve ever been [laughs.] http://www.vibe.com/content/tatyana-ali-talks-new-sitcom-love-girl-advice-will-smith-willows-whip-my-hair

Willow Smith Gives Jessie J Whiplash Willow Smith had everyone from Bruce Springsteen to “Sesame Street” characters whipping their hair last year. But the 10-year-old singer’s breakout hit left one famous fan with a neck injury. Jessie J thinks Willow’s “Whip My Hair” should come with a warning after she ended up with whiplash. “They should put a leaflet inside the single so you don’t get 10 year olds with whiplash all over the world ’cause I know when I did it, it was really unexpected the pain I was in the next day,” the British singer-songwriter tells Rap-Up.com. Despite causing her unintended pain, Jessie has lots of love for little Willow. “She’s incredible. She’s in a league of her own and she’s got the coolest mum and dad in the world.” The feeling seems to be mutual as Willow has called upon the “Do It Like a Dude” singer to write for her debut album. “I’ve been sent a beat that they want me to write to,” shares Jessie. “It’s one of those things where it may happen, it may not, but I’ll put an idea down and hope for the best.” http://www.rap-up.com/2011/01/11/willow-smith-gives-jessie-j-whiplash/

Simon Cowell: Will Smith Won't Be a Judge on 'X Factor' The rumor mill is buzzing that Will Smith has signed on as a judge for Simon Cowell's US "X Factor," but the candid judge is putting those rumors to rest. "I would love to work with Will, but I don't know where this story has come from, because we have never even spoken," Cowell told "Extra's" Terri Seymour. "The X Factor" will appear on FOX in 2011... without Will. http://extratv.warnerbros.com/2011/01/simon_cowell_will_smith_wont_be_a_judge_on_x_factor.php

Will Smith `not signed for X-Factor`: rep Will Smith's rep has rubbished reports that the one-time rapper has signed up to judge the US X-Factor. Rumours circulated yesterday, Monday, that the actor had struck a deal with music mogul Simon Cowell to join the judging panel on the talent show. But a spokesperson for Smith, 42, told Gossip Cop that there is 'no truth' in the story. Several stars have been linked to coveted roles on the judging panel including Rihanna, Nicole Scherzinger, George Michael and Cheryl Cole, although the official line-up still remains a closely guarded secret. http://www.monstersandcritics.com/people/news/article_1610774.php/Will-Smith-not-signed-for-X-Factor-rep

See Willow Smith Watch 'Whip My Hair' Viral Videos Willow Smith's 'Whip My Hair' became an instant hit as an awesomely danceable song with a flashy music video to match. But the Internet flood of parodies and tributes certainly didn't hurt. 'Sesame Street' characters singing along, scores of dancers and singers posting their own interpretations, a 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' scene featuring Will Smith seeming to groove to 'Whip My Hair' -- nothing has been off limits, and there was no way we weren't talking to Willow about it during her recent visit to PopEater. Asked if it's surreal seeing her dad whip his hair to her jam, Willow brushed it off: "He does it all the time. It's not that weird." See Willow's reactions to more 'Whip My Hair' viral videos after the jump! Watch video here: http://www.popeater.com/2011/01/04/whip-my-hair-viral-videos/
