  2. I know, lol. But it shouldn't happen.
  3. You have to make more than 100 posts to see the 'JJFP Rare Tracks' Forum. You made many more than that, so yeah, it's strange. BTW, there's a problem now with the upgrade when you quote something: the letters don't appear!
  4. (Not sure if this has been posted) Actress Jada Pinkett Smith, the wife of the infamous Will Smith, graces the cover of the latest issue of Redbook Magazine (July 2009). In the interview, Jada talks about her career, husband, kids and how despite being difficult balancing work with raising a family, she is one happy woman.

  6. And I wanna be Tony Parker when I grow up
  7. I'm not sure if I really understood your problem, Romano. But why don't you just make a new account with another email?
  8. New video on Jada's facebook: Introducing some of my Hawthorne Family http://www.facebook.com/jadapinkettsmith?ref=ts#/video/video.php?v=1157126842730&ref=mf She's been pretty active since she made the account, hasn't she?
  9. Most of them are just rumours or movies in which his name has been linked to. There are movies on that list that he'll just produce. He won't star in all of them. These are the ones that I think are going to happen: - I Am Legend Prequel - The Last Pharaoh - Old Boy - Empire We could add 'Hancock 2' and 'The Trial Of The Chicago 7' too.

  12. Haha, this is classic. I love the way she moves! Who would have thought she'd marry the guy who made the song she was dancing to?
  13. Dude, she has an incredible body! I won't say anything about these pictures. Just look at her left hand: (PS: Tim, if you want to ban me for this, I'll understand it)
  14. True, and I agree with you. They are all different shows with different stories. 'Scrubs' is a comedy-drama and 'House M.D.' is a drama, so they shouldn't be compared. BUT, like Julie said, they are both hospital shows. Same happens with 'ER', 'Grey's Anatomy' and 'HawthoRNe': they're all hospital shows. For that reason you can compare their scripts, or you can compare the performances by their actors. That's why I think 'House' is better than 'Scrubs' in that way, but that's just my opinion. I can't wait to see 'HawthoRNe'. It's the first time I'm really excited about a project from Jada.
  15. Actress Janet Hubert is probably best known as Aunt Vivian on the Will Smith sitcom, 'Fresh Prince of Bel Air.' The 53-year-old actress was fired from the show in 1993 and replaced by actress Daphne Maxwell Reid. Now the twice-married, mother of one has penned a memoir, 'Perfection Is Not A Sitcom Mom' that is slated to be released early in 2010. In the book, Hubert lashes out at Smith and accuses the then-hip hop superstar of sabotaging her and other talented actors who worked on the 30-minute NBC comedy. In one excerpt from the tome, given to BV Buzz exclusively, Hubert writes: "Smith had people around him who made sure no one outshone him. I was happy to see Don Cheadle become the quality actor that he is, and often wondered how he made it past one episode, as Hilary's boyfriend, being such a fierce actor. No one could be on 'The Tonight Show,' that first season, except Will. And I mean no one." In an effort to drive the point home, Hubert also recalled an incident where another actor was cut from a guest spot on the show after being too impressive at an early rehearsal for that episode. "I recall the lovely and incredibly talented Countess Vaughn coming to guest star. Oh my God! The day of table read, she was pee-in-your-pants funny. The writers were howling, we were howling, so I knew she was history – banished into the cornfield. Many years later, after she had her own show, I had to tell her when she asked me why. 'Miss Janet why did I get cut from the episode,' she asked? Simply, my darling, you were too good," she recollected. Hubert also vividly details her termination from 'Fresh Prince of Be-Air,' something she claims to have never anticipated. She writes: "My agent called; it was time. He had a very funny sound to his voice, not the usual wonderfully funny Michael that I knew. 'Jaaaannnet,' he said, 'I got the offer and you're not gonna like it. They offered you 10 episodes.' Now, to the layperson who doesn't know what this means, each show is an episode, and the usual amount is 22, with perhaps two extra. But the show was a hit so they would order 26, with each show taking a week to shoot. I remember swallowing very, very hard. [My son] Eli was only three and half months old. That meant a cut in salary of more than $100,000." "We had a new house, a new baby, I had just opened a new exercise studio, signed a 3-year lease, and my ex wasn't working at the time. And they knew this," the excerpt continued. "'That's not all,' Michael said. 'They don't want you to work on any other shows. You can only do two guest starring roles.' What? Who? I stammered. I couldn't breathe. What do we do, Michael? What do we do? 'We pass,' Michael said. 'This is a dirty deal, and they know it.' OK, I trust you, I said. Michael had been my agent for more than 20 years. 'OK sweetie, I will call you back,' he said." In the last of the passage, Hubert describes just how the news that she was being replaced was delivered, an ordeal she likens to a murder. "My mind was going in a million places. OK, I thought, they will come back; this is how they do it. They always come back. I started into the kitchen where Rayna – my friend, housekeeper and nanny was. She was doing dishes as baby E was enjoying a swing. I knelt down, kissed his head, and waited for the next round of negotiations. They never came. The next time Michael called he said, 'They are going to recast your role.' There was a beautiful stained glass window that I designed in the bedroom, and the windows were open, so my neighbors probably heard me scream. And that beautiful window probably has many cracks in it. Time of Death: approximately 3 pm. The real Vivian Banks was murdered," the excerpt closed. Since being replaced on 'Fresh Prince of Bel Air,' Hubert has had guest turns on 'Gilmore Girls,' 'One Life To Live,' 'Friends,' 'NYPD Blue' and 'The Jamie Foxx Show.' "For over 20 years I have been dealing with untruths as to my departure. I have decided to defend myself now. If I am going to be a part of the witch hunt this time, the witch is going to fight back," Hubert told BV Buzz. 16. You say that without even having seen 'HawthoRNe'? How can you compare them? Plus, 'House M.D.' is way better than 'Scrubs' IMO.
  17. Old Boy Publisher Sues Korean Studio Over U.S. Film Rights Futabasha asserts that Show East nullified their contract by pushing for remake Futabasha, the Japanese publisher of Garon Tsuchiya and Nobuaki Minegishi's Old Boy manga, is suing the Korean film production company Show East over the rights to remake the story into a Hollywood film. In the story, a man who was imprisoned for over a decade hunts down his mysterious former kidnappers to take revenge. Show East had produced the popular, critically acclaimed 2003 Korean film version that Chan-wook Park directed. The lawsuit was revealed at the Seoul Central District Court on Wednesday, although the lawsuit was actually filed on Monday. Futabasha is suing to confirm the lack of a binding contract between the two parties, due to an alleged breach. Futabasha asserts that Show East violated its basic agreement with Futabasha, and thus nullified it, when Show East pushed for the production of a film remake with America's Universal Pictures. Show East signed its contract with Futabasha over film rights in September of 2002, and signed a second contract in December of 2003 that amended the original one to cover other materials. 3 million people saw Park's Old Boy film in South Korea. The Variety entertainment trade news source reported last November that director Steven Spielberg (Saving Private Ryan, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jaws) and action star Will Smith (Independence Day, I Am Legend, Men in Black) were discussing a possible collaboration to remake the film. However, later that same month, Smith told the Film School Rejects website that Spielberg's team was adapting the original Old Boy manga, and not remaking Park's film version. Dark Horse Comics published the manga in North America from 2006 to 2007, and the manga won an Eisner Award for Best U.S. Edition of International Material - Japan in 2007. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2009-06-17/old-boy-publisher-sues-korean-studio-over-u.s-film-rights
