  8. Will Smith looks forward to work in Indian film New Delhi, Jul 8 (PTI) Multi-talented Hollywood actor Will Smith is in love with Bollywood and believes that the future of international cinema lies in a conjugal tie between the world's two largest entertainment industries. The 'Independence Day' actor, whose latest superhero flick 'Hancock' is all set to release in India on July 11 is a self confessed Bollywood fan and looks forward to work in an Indian project. "I think a marriage between Bollywood and Hollywood would yield outstanding results," Will Smith told PTI in an email interview. Smith is currently exploring possibilities of working in an Indian film. "I would love to work in an Indian film. I have seen a couple of Bollywood movies which had impressed me a lot. I also had a word with Karan Johar. Lets see what's there in store," says the actor. "I love Indian cinema and its actors. Their energy level is just incompatible. The songs and dances in Bollywood movies are just amazing," he added. In the forthcoming movie 'Hancock', Smith plays the character of a superhero who saves countless lives but in the due course also unwittingly inflicts jaw-dropping damages to public property. Directed by renowned Hollywood film director Peter Burg 'Hancock' is an action genre made on a budget of over USD 150 million. Oscar winning actress Charlie Theron and actor Jason Bateman also star in the movie. http://www.ptinews.com/pti%5Cptisite.nsf/0...D5?OpenDocument

  15. Will reveals that he was asked to play the last son of Krypton prior to Hancock, but was quick to turn it down because he didn't think people would go for a race-revamped Superman. "The last Superman I got offered, the script came, and I was like, 'There is no way I'm playing Superman!' Because I had already done Jim West (Wild Wild West) and you can't be messing up white peoples' heroes in Hollywood," he recalled. Laughing, the king of the 4th of July weekend added, “You mess up white people’s heroes in Hollywood, you’ll never work in this town again!” http://www.comicbookmovie.com/news/articles/4791.asp
  16. Is There A Giant Robot In Hancock? First a certain Avenger's shield turned up on Tony Stark's workbench, and now some kind of robot may have reared its metallic head in the middle of a fight scene in Will Smith's drunken superhero movie Hancock. Look at that figure, towering over the crowd in this slightly blurry clip. Is it a Transformer? A generic giant-ish robot? Or just a freakishly tall homeless person? The internet has been wondering. Very minor spoilers ahead. The folks at Comic Book Movie were intrigued enough to ask: During the climactic fight scene in the Hancock movie, with all the tornados blowing around, you see something that looks like a transformer, or giant robot walking across the street during the melee. At the time, I past it off as one of the combatants or an illusion because of all the debris flying around, but we've had several emails asking us about it. Does anybody know what it was? And did everybody see it? Tell us! Sadly, the consensus among Comic Book Movie's readers was that it was just "a guy on stilts—one of those panhandler freaks that are only found in LA." Which raises another question: Is LA really true of panhandlers on stilts? Do they have signs saying things like, "Will Impersonate Giant Robot For Food?" [Thanks to Jake for the heads up.] VIDEO! http://io9.com/5022263/is-there-a-giant-robot-in-hancock :lolsign:
  17. Hmm sorry Sandy but I can only download the first part, I don't know why it doesn't let me download the others. Pity :worried:
  18. I just found this interview when Will was promoting 'I am Legend' on Radio 1. It's pretty cool! http://www.radio1movies.com/2007/12/meeting-will-sm.html :2thumbs:
  19. A movie with two of the most powerful actors in the world and people are not gonna see it? I really don't think so. @ Sandy: I'll post the videos later
  20. Why not? Both are great actors in my opinion. must I state the obvious? Well I don't think Will should be worried about what people think about Tom. Like it or not, Cruise has made some pretty good movies and Will just said that he'd like to work with him. I can't see why working with Tom Cruise in a movie should be a problem. From my point of view, people should know the difference between a job and personal life.
  21. Why not? Both are great actors in my opinion.
