WILL SMITH's nephew is set to follow in his famous uncle's footsteps after recording a new single, BETTER MAN, with R+B hunk OMARION. Rapper K. Smith has also recorded a debut album, Streetz To Hollywood, with hip-hop heavyweight David Banner, and now he has his sights set on following his uncle's example - although insists he won't be quite as clean-cut. The 18-year-old says, "I definitely got more edge than my uncle. "But he showed me the ropes and taught me the business." And young Smith has empire-building plans of his own. In his hip-hop memoir "Rollin' With Dre," Bruce Williams - who was Dre's confidant for nearly 20 years - says producers asked Dre to do some background music for a key scene. Williams writes, "We made sure that the music underneath that scene was the song 'Bitch Niggaz' from 'The Chronic 2001,' because that's what we thought of that hater, Smith. Better than "Men in Black II", "Wild Wild West", and "I, Robot"? That's not very complicated. Better than "I am Legend"? I have my doubts. Although I am Legend wasn't an excellent movie, Will's performance was excellent, and I'd say it is at the same level as 'Ali' or Chris Gardner in 'Pursuit of Happyness'. So do you really think Will's performance as John Hancock is going to be better than his performance as Robert Neville? I really don't think so. Just my opinion.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Judging by the trailer this is just a silly comedy, and certainly one of Will's worst movies.

Will Smith Works on Those Seven Pounds Will Smith showed off those guns while splashing around on the set of Seven Pounds in LA yesterday. In the film Will plays a guy who "falls in love while attempting to kill himself." The lucky lady is Rosario Dawson who was also his co-star in Men in Black 2.
