  2. In the eyes of the media He's the DJ I'm the Rapper is the ONLY Will Smith classic album...Rock the House and Homebase had classic singles (Girls ain't nothing but trouble/Summertime/Fresh Prince of Bel-Air)...Code Red got a lot of positive feedback from the hip hop community just like the Lost and Found therefore I would call it a classic...Big Willie Style and Willenium aren't even close to a classic album status, maybe classic singles: Men in Black, Gettin Jiggy wit it, Just the two of us, So fresh!
  3. I think it's for todays music standards a classic, there is maybe 1 song you can skip through on the album...A classic album don't need necessarily mainstream exposure. If that's the case Common's Resurrection/Be or Little Brother's Minstrel Show/The Listening wouldn't be a classic.

  5. I was checking allhiphop.com and found a new thread to the album Lost and Found there. I realized that it is almost 3 years since the album was released and people are still talking about it on the BIGGEST hip hop board on the internet. Therefore classic means timeless, do you think it is one?
  6. Thats the problem when you don't strike back, they will do it again.
  7. The movie is awesome...the end is a little bit strange...they should have added 30 minutes...certainly one of wills best performances!
  8. who is hating on him? he got skillz, but he ain't real!
  9. I love Ice Cube's music, but he shouldn't critize beeing a gimmick, when he's himself one...same goes for Dr. Dre! Ice Cube one of the most talented gangster rappers of all-time, but it's time to grow up that gangsta **** is played out. And gangsta rap isn't always "reality" rap, 99 % of them watch Scarface and then are fascinated rap about that stuff.
  10. Negro please, don't come with keep it real. You went to Phoenix Institute of Technology and never did anything that makes you gangsta! You 38 years and singing why we thugs! get a life! **** you ice cube!
  11. In his early movies Will had always great actors next to him...Martin Lawrence, Tommy Lee Jones, Gene Hackmann, Matt Damon, Kevin Kline...Since Bad Boys 2 Will has shown that he can carry a movie alone, which is a great. Nonetheless I would like to see Will working with Big Names of the showbiz on this project!
  12. As much i love Chuck D and Public Enemy, I think there are better candidates for Def Jam Presidency. He would surely put more effort to bring quality hip hop outta the def jam camp, but would this sell??? 1. In my opinion Dr. Dre would be perfectly, he should put his aftermath roster also under Def Jam. 2. And he is the only one beside LL Cool J, Will Smith and Ice Cube who has been successful over 20 years. 3. He helped the breaktrough of a lot of artist: NWA, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent and the Game! 4. Drops quality music that sells!
  13. Wow, I'm from Germany and I surely can say that the only people think Hitler was a "good" person are the racist skinheads here! Will must have been on drugs or something!
  14. Congrats to Will, one day hip hop america will realize this, too!
  15. The song is a Jay-z diss...co-sign to the Will Smith part! :sipread:
  16. I told you after L&F came out it would come to this...I hope this isn't just an US tour!
  17. Will is on no. 11 with Miami...2 million dollar production costs! http://unterhaltung.de.msn.com/stars/galer...p;imageindex=10
