  1. dude, do u have a wireimage account? can u give us the info so we can get pics and stuff?
  2. im 16 so of course everyone is wrapped up in mainstream crap.
  3. Its funny how AJ said that in an interview FP said he wasnt confident on Code Red. He and Jeff sure do sound confident and they spit some nice fire on it. Code Red is a blazin' hot disc and I don't get how this didnt go platinum - its just a hip-hop masterpiece. "kick the volume, pump the adreanaline"
  4. Awesome inteview....thats what JJFP provides for me, a sacturary from all the crap out there...but its not 2 hours...its more! haha :dj:
  5. Thats track 3 off the "Rock the House" album called "Rock the House"...nice site find tho'
  6. Nice topic name. Yeah it happens to me all the time. People are like "you like Will Smith" im like "no...DJ Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince(Will Smith)" - two guys...then im like "DJ Jazzy Jeff is Jazz on the FPOBA" and there like "ohhhhhhh" i think it has something to do with your age and the generation of fans. Mainstream cats of today probably won't remember or know what was hot back in the day.
  7. I think the UK version of Greatest Hits has a little better track listing. I gotta get my hands on that version. I guess Jive also put Just Crusin and Men In Black on JJFP Greatest Hits to make it sell more since they were hot tracks at the time.
  8. That would be a dream come true if FP was there. Hmm...who could be an A-lister? anyone else we could think of?
  9. Ahh I forgot about The Rain!!!!!! I was thinking the same thing too! That woulda been a dope video!
  10. "but one man stood up and that man's me to show you what it takes to be a real emcee" - JJFP "Somethin like Dis" Love that quote.
  11. I'm sure many of you know that on Code Red, track 1, is "Somethin' Like Dis" and it woulda been a great party hit. I was thinking, if you could pick any non-single, non-hit JJFP song, what would it be and what would the video be like? Mine is Somethin Like Dis. The video would be brought back to the streets of Philly (Like where "Freakin' It" was taped) and have like a block party in the spring or fall with crowds of people lined up along the sidewalks then have JJFP performing in the streets with Jeff tearing up the wheels of steel and FP just goin all over the place. Have the people goin "dee dee dee de de dee" while JJFP just rockin' it. JJFP sporting typical Code Red attire. Starter gear basically. I think that would be a hot video. Better than "I Wanna Rock". So what about you? How would your video be like?
  12. Ok, so I'm listening to "Men In Black" and im wondering, what do you think woulda happened if Jive accepted "Men In Black" for Will and FP signed (or signed again) to Jive in 1997? Do you think "Men In Black" still woulda been hit and do you think FP's music career wouldn't be shadowed by his movie career like it was on Columbia? If he never left Jive, do you think "Men In Black" woulda been a JJFP song and there would be no "Will Smith" albums? What if FP signed to Def Jam instead of Columbia or what if he would sign to Def Jam now? Do you think he'd get more respect as a rapper since people there like LL Cool J and Russell Simmons know what JJFP did for rap. What y'all think - just something to think about as we await new music.
  13. Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince - Code Red
  14. DVDs usually sell for around $15 to $30 here in the US. Pretty cheap. I wonder if bloopers and behind the scenes will be on the DVD
  15. agreed. so true. He's trying to be as big as Will Smith - hence why he wants to be in BB3 and how hes everywhere FP is at...i hate p. diddy...so annoying.
  16. In one of the episodes when Will went back to Philly to see his mom, he called up uncle phil back in LA and said he wasnt coming home then the show ended with the teasing of... The Fresh Prince of Philadelphia?? hahaha that was great.
  17. saw a fine hot mommy what sight beat up a sucka in a fight threw two punches and witnessed his fear landed an uppercut and saw a tear
  18. LL Cool J - "Stand By Your Man" LL Cool J - "Hush" - is someone beatboxing in this? JJFP - "Scream" JJFP - "Summertime" JJFP - "I'm Lookin for the One" 2pac - "I Get Around 2pac - "Can't C Me" Nick Cannon - "Get Crunk Shorty" - very underrated - I usually love 2pac's production...my fav..
  19. For $20 million over 4 seasons, he better come back - I thought he was a waste once he got hurt (again) last season. I haven't been following basketball that much but I can't believe Martin and Kittles are gone. And Aaron Williams too right? Damn... Kidd aint happy either, at least we got Mourning but hes damaged goods and Richard Jeffereson - but its not the same team as it was the last 3 seasons. but Go Nets anyway!
  20. I saw Taxi i think when it came out. It was an alright movie. Latifah was excellent but Jimmy Fallon is not funny at all...hes just not the type of star that can be in movies. he's just a regular SNL funnyguy...and even SNL isnt funny. horrible.
  21. Nobody realizes that half of "Code Red" is hot party tracks. Songs that can be used for today. "Somethin Like 'Dis" - how the hell wasn't that released as a single? Code Red had like so much potential it seems but it was slept on...i still wonder how it went wrong even with all the promotion.
