1. I guess its good that my parents do kinda shadow me and question me to what music I listen to. Good parenting. But I have no problem with a little cursing in music but when there's tons than I don't like it. I'm pretty sure of myself that I don't let the music change who I am. I don't curse alot in real life, and I don't go killing people and all that. My parents also give me the crap like "why do you need to hear cursing?" and "whats so great bout those words", "you dont need to hear". I think it also has to do a little with my religion. Christianity. My dads like "as a christian you shouldn't want that"..blah blah blah. Look, I hate christian music, I really do. Its the same crap in every song. lol. I agree though with y'all...I'm 16 years old and I should be able to choose what kind of music I want to listen to and be smart enough to know not to let the music change who I am. Turned out the CD wasn't too great anyway. No I didn't see Bad Boys 2 either, I want too tho but they never said I couldn't....parents just don't understand..
2. There's been some recent talk about what rapper or groups curse. I hate cursing in rap even though I can put up with a little bit of it. Can someone please give me some groups to listen too who don't curse. I ask this because well I just bought 2pac's "Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z" CD today and my parents flipped. And I would also like to listen to non-curse music as well. Heres my list I know of so far... DJ Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince Run-DMC BizMarkie Kid N Play MC Hammer Nick Cannon Arrested Development Queen Latifah (most of her stuff) anyone else?
3. What do you expect? It's MTV...they've gone down the drain in the last 6 years or so...horrible crap.
4. hahaha W3.... I bet they'll look like the Mike Tyson video...lololol
5. It's really not that far away...its comin' up soon!!!!! can't wait...this is FP's year.
6. Its actually a dope song but not JJFP's best. It does though get you hyped. I love the ending. DJ Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince - Higher Baby (Right click & Save As..)
7. I see no reason why they shouldn't make a full album. They're both together right now, Will has tons of free time and so does Jeff. Its stupid how theres "solo" Will Smith and "solo" Jazzy Jeff.
8. I'll admit I really didnt like this board when it first came out, thats why it delayed me from registering but now I really like it. It grew on me.
9. yep...but most albums and singles drop on a tuesday and movies drop on a friday so..it could be the 24th....u never know.
10.
I'm glad he got booed too. I don't really like his attitude period. U can be cocky, but he does it just wrong. I hate it how he's always on the record or in the video. Jeez, we know ya click. Bad Boy. chill, we know ya behind it.
I know, he's too cocky...over nothing. He overall sucks. He needs a cloting company, record label to make money cuz he can't do it like JJFP and just make money off records itself....cuz Puffy's albums suck.
11. What? No...he first made mention on MTV TRL....on a wednesday...july 14th....
12. I've heard him freestyle on like tv show specials or radio interviews...all in fun though...not any battles though. He battled in Philly alot and was crazy...theres no bootlegs though...damn. I'm sure FP has some on tape or something.
13. Just copy and paste into www.freetranslation.com that will help...

15. This song is alright...reminds me of "From Da South"...lol. My fav verses are... "Gangsta hardcore menace to society Rap's all the same my pen spits variety" and "I was in the game before publishing was an issue Your platinum now, but next year I'm gonna miss you Mad rappers like bad actors should have no parts Wanna be mad check the charts"
16.
Can everyone who got live performances send them to Tim so that he can put them up here? That would be great!
Did you send that 2000 Grammys Awards video to him?
17. So true...get Cable (Broadband) or DSL....it'll never be slow
18. FP is just goin with the flow on this one, i think he really could be freestyling. My copy of "I'm Lookin for the One" dont got this. Thanks again Tim.
19. This is TOO GOOD....haha I hate P.Diddy and this idiot deserves it... ----------------------------------------------------- http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/allnews/tm_ob...-name_page.html A PUFF RECEPTION Aug 14 2004 AS one of the world's most successful rap stars, P Diddy is used to being treated with kid gloves wherever he pitches up. But the Puffster forgot to pack his Midas touch for a break in Ibiza. Our island spies tell us the 33-year-old was booed off stage TWICE in two nights by unimpressed clubbers. They report: "He pitched up at Space last Sunday. "The club is legendary for its friendly atmosphere and this night was no exception. Everything was going great." Until Puffy mounted the stage. Our mole says: "It started well - he was getting the crowd going and singing over some tracks. But when he tried to rap the crowd turned on him, shouting and jeering until he left the stage." And a visit to underground club DC10 for after-hours party Coco Loco the following day proved equally disastrous. RENEE Zellweger standing on West Broadway in New York with a female pal, asking "where is the car?"... Martin Clunes in Winchester Services (southbound) with his toddler... Kym Marsh drunkenly dancing with a male pal at the Border Bar in Oxford Circus... Zoe Ball buying fruit in Selfridges... The insider continues: "It's a very unpretentious place and the crowd seemed surprised that Puffy should have gone out of his way to find it. "He got on stage and everyone cheered - but once he started rapping there was another chorus of boos. He persevered but the crowd reaction was so bad he was forced to leave the stage. "He looked very hurt and was heard asking one of his flunkies 'Why don't they dig me?' " Diddums.. -------------------------------------------------------- LET THIS BE A LESSON TO YOU P. DIDDY, YOU SUCK, YOUR MUSIC SUCKS, AND YOU CANT RAP! hahahahahahaha
20.
Y'all won't believe this. I waz 13 when "Boom! Shake The Room" came out and i didn't get the single becuz i thought Code Red waz coming out shortly. My brother did get the single and i made my mom play it in the car. I learned "Boom!..." and "From Da South" with the quickness. However, when Code Red came out, i waz like "Where is 'From Da South'?!?!" I got a ride back 2 the mall as soon as i could 2 get the single so i could own it but they no longer had it. Months later my brother waz incredible nice and gave it 2 me...which waz a surprise cuz as i look back, i waz a jerk as an older brother back then. It wazn't until 1999 when i 1st started getting stuff on ebay when i finally got it on CD. I used 2 look thru' pawn shops all the time trying 2 find the CD version.
You didnt get "Boom! Shake the Room" because Code Red was coming out? LOL...that dont make any sense cuz its new JJFP man! I woulda been on that!
21. Damn Julie...everyone over there where you live still love "Boom! Shake the Room" and I'm amazed...11 years later....and in Austraila too, people still love it... i'm not too sure how many people would remember Boom! here...maybe people in the 20s, definatly not any of my age thats for sure.
22. hahah word up FuQ.... "like LL said dont call it a comeback and face the fact jack I'm all that"
23. You ever notice how JJFP sounds so much better blasting infront of a live crowd...even just as an intro, when FP was on MTV a few weeks ago, he came out to "Freakin It" and I'm like damn, that sounds so good.
