  1. Probably because the theme song video is technically the opening credit video. There was a soundtrack released in 1992 with it on the album but not sure if it made any money.
  2. That was really cool!! I'm so excited for 2013 and what Jeff's got cooked up for us this year. Thank you Nicole!!!
  3. Merry Christmas to my JJFP family!!! Hope everyone stays blessed!!
  4. He's going to get better. I like the fact he chose Snoop and Dre's "Imagine" record to rap over. That song was so hot. He'll get better - you gotta love the effort.
  5. Sweet video! Thanks a lot - and it made it to the front page www.djjazzyjeff.com! nice!
  6. It's incredible stuff. It's hard to believe because Jeff's right, that's all you see is the glamour and glitz but what you don't see is how miserable the artists are behind the scenes. Man, I'd kill to just listen to Jeff speak for like an hour about the music industry and just pick his mind. Very intriguing and insightful.
  7. I remember seeing this on MySpace or something like 5 years ago and I was just thinking about this video the other day. This is the deepest **** I've ever heard a music artist say. I love how humble Jeff is - real down to earth.
  8. This is probably the 2nd clip in which I've actually seen Will talk about the Code Red album. I don't think Will and Jeff actually know how GREAT the album is. I love it. Thank you!
  9. I'm always excited for new JJ. I love the mixtapes, but the albums are where its at! So many great tracks on TROTM though!
  10. I'm really excited to check this out. Let's face the facts - music today really sucks. I log onto hotnewhiphop.com and its nothing but garbage. Once in a blue moon, I'll come across a hot new song but it's by a credible artist. I don't bother with unknown rappers who go by "Lil", "Yung" ...etc. The cool thing about Jeff and his mixtapes are that 1) There's no annoying DJ ad-lib every 30 seconds like what you'll see on datpiff.com "mixtapes" and 2) I discover "new" music by jumping in a time machine and listening to music 20-30-40 years ago. Whether its pop, disco, rap, new wave...etc its good music!
  11. Yeah I don't know what to make of this video. It's very likely Will just doesn't want to give the paparazzi any time and he just continues to be secretive about music. I thank the paparazzi for asking such a great question though! Someone's bound to ask!
  12. I couldn't agree with you more AJ. I always get excited for a new LL track and when I saw the title of the album was "Authentic Hip-Hop", I get real excited. Ratchet goes right in the trash. This track really sucks. It's not even clever, it's stupid. LL says he's not trying to compete with an 18-year old going on their 2nd album but this song is quite the contrary. Horrible.
  13. OMG!!!!!! THAT WAS INCREDIBLE!!! WOW!!!! PLEASE ANOTHER ALBUM AND TOUR!!!!!
  14. What a legendary night! It's really remarkable Tim how your idea in 1996 to make a website dedicated to JJFP has taken off and just like the music brings people together, this site brings people from all across the world together! I'm so thankful I found this site back in 2002 as a young JJFP and now 10 years later I'm very, very proud to be a part of it..through the thick and thin news days. You're write-up of the evening made me feel like I was there and I cannot wait to check out the videos. The pictures are epic and it'd be even better if our other UK pal - Julie - was in the pic with you guys! I love hearing new and insightful information about JJFP that I never knew before. That's why when I first met him at Fluid in Philly in 2009, I kinda rapid-fired a whole bunch of questions to him ...haha.. I just was so excited and now reading this post, I'm even more excited for the next time he comes around. It's always hard in AC to have a real convo with him because of the club scene is so loud and what not. I'd love to just sit with him and pick his mind about his career and music. Very intriguing. BTW - I hate the movie business...haha. It's taken our favorite emcee away far too many times. I'm just glad Jeff has a strong online presence to connect with the diehards.
  15. Anybody remember this from 2005? Great speech and I just wish this man would get back on the mic! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ODjoQntMbU
  16. I love that plaque - what a great pic!
  17. Interesting, I guess but the real facts will come from a much more CREDIBLE source. It's really not relevant at all.
  18. It was down early this morning for me. Looking good!! Hope Tim has a safe flight!
  19. Great article. As much as people trip on the album, I think it's a fantastic album. It was a little egotistical but rap is competitive and I really love the blend of fun and aggressive on here.
  20. Darnell's no longer work with Jeff? What happened? He was and still is the man - real nice guy. We def got a lot of love for Darnell on this site!
