  1. hahah willow...great story "THATS A 3 FOOT BOA CONSTRICTOR JAY!" lmao i love Will and Leno they are so great
  2. THANKS!!! I always wanted this but never could find it online!
  3. You know whats pretty funny? Ellen was singing the words to "Ring My Bell" backstage and FP said he didnt even know the words to it and he was trying to keep up with album haha
  4. That was an okay mini performance of "Miami" - so funny who hes like "Oh wait we got time" ...and did you hear the reaction from the crowd? The world is ready for another album. Lets go. And FP looked so "white" on the show lol...either hes going to golf after the show or goin to play chess.
  5. I am def a fan of Nas, he has some of the illest songs but I really hate how hes playing the race card. I'm so sick of hearing about racism (no offense to anyone), yeah I know it still exists but I mean you hear it in the media so much why do I wanna hear it even more in music? Come on Nas, get back to the Illmatic/Stillmatic/Nastradamus days. Enough with being controversial and trying to sell records.
  6. This kid is hillarious. 16 years in the game? Isnt he only 16? I cant tell anymore by what he says and the way he acts.
  7. Z100 still shows Will love after all these years. They def had alot of spins for "Switch" back 3 years ago. Other than that, Z100 is nothing more than a popular top 10 station.
  8. woww! finally a good LL song! I haven't heard a real good LL song in a couple years! This sounds like it could've been off "Todd Smith" album..come on L, give us another banger!
  9. Reading the lyrics for his opening verse on Too Late, I think its real weak ..if only he was better lyrically ..like Pac and Kane had some nice verses
  10. Brakes, I've never bought one Jay album lol. I'm so bad, its crazy
  11. Definitely is sad for an emcee like Nas nowadays because he's more-so losing his mainstream appeal.
  12. Sounds great man, I'm definitely looking forward to it. Hopefully, if your nice enough, you can share the album with us too haha!
  13. Def a great topic. For a second I thought I was the only one into Jay-Z on this board and I could swear fan4ever was another big one too. For me its gotta be Reasonable Doubt, Blueprint, and the Black Album. I think Jay is a complete different species of rappers. If anyone's ever seen him in the studio (like on youtube with timbaland) ..he hasnt written a verse down since '96 "Can I Live" (off his 1st album). He is so incredible how he can go through a rap like 30 times and remember each time and each way he did it. Sick metaphors and crazy/funny personality. Kingdom Come didnt really thrill me and American Gangster was better but I def think his best material is behind him.
  14. Thanks for this AJ. I def. didnt know Hammer was signed to Death Row. Hammer is a smart dude and def fits that whole Death Row/2pac mid 90s sound. I love all that producing - I think the majority of 2pac's beats are timeless (more so the Me Against the World to the later Death Row material and unreleased trax). Damn shame this album was never released! Hammer isn't the best rapper but hes def a fun rapper to listen too even tho I def wouldn't put him in my top 10 but dude has got talent.
  15. Nas is just trying to sell by being controversial .. "Hip Hop is Dead" and now "Nigger" ..and I lovee Nas too but hes just like LL in the sense of he needs to do uncharacteristc things outside his nature just to sell records..
  16. I can't believe DJ Jazzy Jeff is on it? I thought Will ditched him
  17. 28? Damnn sonn Happy Birthday big guy!
  18. I know I haven't been around much but I figure I'd share this with you guys So last nite I went to the Heart of the City tour at Boardwalk Hall, in Atlantic City, NJ. The arena is small, about 5000 seats. We paid for $65 (rounded out to 80 each with stupid fees and all that crap) and it was the last row of the top deck, dead center. It wasn't bad but then a guy came along and gave us (and other people up there who got there early I guess) and upgraded us to almost floor seats, dead center. It was suppose to be at 730 but it got pushed back to 830 because it wasnt soldout I believe. It eventually got to almost packed crowd, but still some empty rows and what not. Real suprising. They were backed by a live band which automatically makes rap music so much better. Anyway. I cant remember the exact tracklisting since there was so many but the both started it off with "Cant Knock the Hustle" , next Mary did her thing for an hour. WOW! Mary is a hell of a performer. She brings it to the table and goes to whole extra mile. At some point she did "Real Love" but the remix which has vocals from Biggie which Jay performed which was insanee. Mary did her thing some more than Jay came out! Jay-Z is so funny. The way he talks, his voice its just so amusing. He did all his hit songs and some others. He did a little bit of medley songs like "Feelin It", "Brooklyn High", "Money aint a thang" ..then Mary came out and they did "Aint No Love(Heart of the City) and ended it with "You're All Welcome" ..what a hell of a performance. What a team. Both are absolutely beautiful performers.
  19. Eh...this beat is pretty good but I mean when am I going to actually hear a track from just LL himself? LL is becoming a joke to me, all these collabos, dude is just beggin for attention and sales. Is it really nessacary Lil Kim and Jim Jones? He should've kept it KRS and Method Man I'm not looking forward to this album at all, its a bunch of crap so far really, just more mainstream watered down garbage to gain sales.
  20. She is still beautiful though, she was so hot on FPOBA Is she like half-white cause I coulda sworn on the show she was black in the first season then fully white in the final one lol
  21. I thought I posed "Whatcha Hood Like" about 8 months ago or so! Yeah it really isnt that great, more crap from LL "Aint Nobody" however is a classic! How savvy of LL to use that clever sample. I love it, so smooth!!! Def one of my fav LL songs!
  22. wow ..Will Smith and Eminem, hope theres no hip-hop beef LOL JJFP BETTER PERFORM AFTER EMINEM AND SHOW HIM UP!
  23. Does anyone really care about The Game? Honestly? Pure garbage. Yeah Game, go diss someone, try to get attention again.
