New Album, World Tour and Bad Boys III in 2016
DevilsJim89 replied to Hero1's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
That's pretty interesting. I doubt we'll ever hear it though. I hate that I'm thinking this way but the chances are super slim of ever hearing the music.- 154 replies

Yeah - Will can totally do what he wants but he should keep in mind he's somewhat alienated his music fans. He was just on the Tonight Show and was talking about 30 years in music but I couldn't help but think - what have you done the last 10 years musically? Aside from that latin song remix he jumped on, NOTHING. It's really hard to stay interested sometimes when you feel like the artist just doesn't care. Will doesn't owe us anything but man, toss us a bone. I think Lerkot has some good points. He's definitely terrified of rejection. At this point, who cares about sales. Just get on the mic and talk your sh!t Will. Drop some bars and just spit. No dancers, no crossover pop hits, just get Jeff on the boards and spit something. Drop it on mixcloud or soundcloud. He just doesn't get it. Jeff gives us great stuff all of the time online. No reason why Will can't throw the Clique remix he did up. It's super frustrating. I'm tired of these impromptu (half of the song) Summertime performances for movie premieres or at beach clubs. It's old. If he really loves it, drop new music. I mean really now.- 154 replies

Hopefully we can get a heads up in advance. Jeff's words were encouraging saying that if they can get one show, it will turn to two shows, three shows and then maybe a tour.

Will Smith's Greatest MTV Moments (1997)
DevilsJim89 replied to Ale's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
This is definitely a gem! Although - its gotta be from 1997 or 1998 because some of the audio is from Big Willie Style. The early 90's - what an era! Would love to see more footage from the Homebase/Code Red timeframe. -
Boom! Shake The Room 95 (Rare)
DevilsJim89 replied to Shellshock's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
Wow...I've never heard this version before! It's def. very 90s lol It's pretty interesting the additional vocals. I wonder if they came from somewhere else originally. -
Totally agree 100 percent. I just don't think Will gets it at all. There was an interview posted a few months back how Jeff said Will is a little behind the times. He had the Clique freestyle and Jeff told him to drop it on Soundcloud and he just sat on it and did nothing and the "comeback" became out of sight and out of mind. It's not complicated. Anyone can drop something on Soundcloud and so many artists do it! Come on already Will.

That Sydney premiere is the one Tim went too!!

Fresh Prince on 'The Arsenio Hall Show' (1991)

Why wasn't Jeff on the show? Wish they talked about the album more. -

Oh man that's disappointing. Come on Will, take a break from the movies already.- 154 replies

Nice find. Would've been sooo much better if it wasn't lip sync'd.

Will plays the lyric game and sings 'Boom!'
DevilsJim89 replied to Ale's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
The US sucks with music...lol I often hear Boom! in sports arenas. I've also heard it on the radio a few times here and there. I don't think it's as huge here though. Wasn't the record Top 10 here? I don't consider that it bombed here. lol -
How much does Will Smith know about his own career?
DevilsJim89 replied to Ale's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
Wow Will...way to throw Jeff under the bus LOL Always nice to hear him mention anything from Code Red -
New Album, World Tour and Bad Boys III in 2016
DevilsJim89 replied to Hero1's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
Yeah wow....I don't even know what to say. I don't want to be quick to get angry here but would it really kill Will to put the movies on hold? I just don't get the problem here.- 154 replies

I don't think it's a safe bet to completely rule out no new JJFP tracks. They can record literally anywhere. I'm sure they can work something out!

It'd be hard to top the video package we did a couple years ago

MTV Video Music Awards - Best Male Video (1999)
DevilsJim89 replied to Ale's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
I just watched this again and did anyone notice Eminem sitting a couple seats away from Will giving him a congrats? Never noticed that before! -
This is spot on. I don't think it's all that bad either. The movie just didn't have the widespread appeal as his other movies did. He's been an established movie star for the last 20 years. He doesn't need to make another movie again. He'll bounce back.

I'm definitely liking this. Good to see there's a bunch of other remixes too. Not that it needed it but shows that the track generated some type of buzz.

I liked the concert footage from whatever winter concert they did in late 2005. I wish to see more of that. The video was alright and people are talking about Will and music again so that's a positive.- 154 replies

Jeff Waz On The Beatbox (Live 1989)
DevilsJim89 replied to analogue's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
This is definitely in my top 5 of JJFP performances. I love Will's rapid-fire delivery of that 3rd verse. I wonder why they never released this as a single.
