It kinda does look bad that "Willenium" sold 7-8 mill LESS than Big Willie Style but that is definitly due to Sony. "Will 2K" was a proper single, "Wild Wild West" helped the album but the album could've done without it. "Freakin It" was the sequel to "Jiggy" which is what I think the corporate executives told Will to do. They wanted another "Jiggy". Lyrics were good, and I'll admit I like the song alot esp in the winter time but trackmasters used such a common sample in hip-hop. Maybe if they used a harder beat, it would've done better but on the flipside you have to realize FP kept it old-school on Willenium so the sample does fit. "So Fresh" was actually suppose to be the 2nd single in December 1999 and had Sony actually promoted it, FP would've gained more "street cred" and respect because that song in itself is the essence of rap. Sony should've kept "Willenium" going throughout 2000. Maybe hit the spring with a "The Rain" and the summer with "Holla Back". That would've been most proper. Damn shame Sony wasnt good to Will like Jive was to JJFP.
