  1. Agreed. FP just needs to realize that one year without 20 mill wont kill him especially since Jada is making money too, plus the two of them could stop working and be set for life. There's just no excuses with Will anymore. He's one album shy of 10. Thats a milestone. He should be excited to get that done. The internet is a huge resource this day and age. Like I was saying earlier, who needs a label? Nobody makes money from just music alone anymore unless your a big name with a big push. At least keep some new material on iTunes and let the real fans enjoy.
  2. This is an alright track but I'm glad it didnt make the album. I love Biz but someone's gotta tell him its not 1987 but thats his style so you gotta like it. lol.
  3. I see what your saying AJ but at this point and time, FP doesn't have much time left if we are talking strictly mainstream success. Hes 38, not 28. Ten years ago this time, "Men In Black" was getting hot and FP was back in the game. Fast-forward now, people still dont even take Will as a serious rapper. Why? Because FP is inconsistent. He's consistent with his style/ lyrics..etc but inconsistent when it comes time to drop new music. A three year rate isn't good at all. It seems like everytime now he drops an album its "WILL SMITH'S COMEBACK TO MUSIC" as if he hadn't recorded in a decade when it was really three years ago. Theres also other factors such as labels but you know what? I think labels are starting to become irrelevant because the internet is so much easier and better to use. MySpace Music, iTunes, AOL Music..etc are huge outlets of music as opposed to the radio and video on tv.
  4. THIS IS A JAZZYJEFFFRESHPRINCE.COM X-CLUSIVE! I feel like I haven't really contributed much lately here so tonight I ripped my Will Smith - Live In Concert DVD from 2005 and uploaded online for those of you who werent able to obtain the DVD. It had a short life on the shelves of Wal-Mart as you could've got it in a 2 Pack-DVD with Hitch. Not all Hitch DVDs had it though. Plus, many people across the world couldn't obtain it. So here it is, its 51 minutes 33 seconds long..enjoy! :wickedwisdom: TRACKLISTING: 1. Brand New Funk 2. If U Cant Dance(Verse) 3. I Wanna Rock 4. Men In Black 5. Gettin Jiggy Wit It 6. Miami 7. I Wish I Made That(Interlude) 8. Tell Me Why 9. Switch 10. Party Starter 11. Summertime 12. Encore: Willywood Freestyle DONT MISS THIS! http://download.yousendit.com/40D1F14604D2E81E
  5. I was listening to TROTM and I was just thinking, wouldn't it be cool if FP just went to Rapster Records? He along with Jeff could easily build that label up and FP would have full control and freedom of his music. Interscope proved to be a flop for FP as they were just as bad as Columbia in destroying his rap career. What do you think?
  6. thats pretty sick because id love to mess around and rap on "Hold it Down", "Supa Jean" and "Jeff & Fess".
  7. The album is done. Simply put. There is a much bigger focus right now on "The Return of the Magnificent." - thats an album you wanna push.
  8. LOVE THAT JOINT! DJ JAZZY JEFF + TWONE GABZ GO SEE THE DOCTOR 2K7 ..so funny! haha the JJFP skit at the end tops it off too
  9. ahh i was gonna post this myself right when I saw it but I forgot to and AJ beat me to it! Its a real honor though for Tim, 11 years now JJFP online..much love.
  10. its gotta do good here in the States but you know what? Jeff doesnt tour around the country as much as he does around the world which is a huge factor plus nobody cares for really music apparently here in the States so Jeff's album wont do good. It really sucks.
  11. Happy Birthday AJ! 27! dammn hahahah hope its a good one.
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3URTc0KRQqI horrible performance. horrible rapper, yet I will admit I've been blasting BNK 2K7 in my car nonstop, I love it but I hate Peedi.
  13. because when strippers know you and ask about your family, thats how you know they are regulars. this guy in front of us in the front row had like every stripper come to him and was like having conversations with him about his work and family lol
  14. it is very dirty..its okay if you go like once in a blue moon but to see other people there that are regulars - its disgusting.
  15. haha oh trust me i know its not class whatsoever but i just thought it was pretty funny lol
  16. so yesterday my friend anthony told me how he checked out The Return of the Magnificent on Jeff's myspace and says the "Brand New Funk 2K7" is real hot. So tonight, i played it in my car and i played the live video version from '88. We hit a strip club and we're watchin sittin there for 15 minutes when all of a sudden the "Brand New Funk(Album Version)" comes on...Damnnn i love that song so much, so much energy and nice to hear it in a club atmosphere too. Brand New Funk gettin some love haha figure i share that little story with you guys lol
  17. ahh idk i think im still feelin the old site better, i loved how when you clicked on a vinyl...he'd catch it and scratch it haha The bio has too many question marks in it and whats up with the discography? No JJFP in there.
