Toe to Toe [Fat R&B Mix] I uploaded this full album because I was browsing through my music and this album is really really rare. It was Kid N Play's 3rd and final record. This record did not even qualify for Gold even though the content of this album deserves it. The lead single "Aint Gonna Hurt Nobody" was a minor hit I believe. Kid N Play - known for making fun/party/dance records (such as "Gettin Funky" and "Rollin' Wit Kid N Play) make a complete turn and this record is aimed towards drug dealers, racism,..etc. Classic 90's old school hip-hop at its finest. Funny this topic was made, I was listening to Lost & Found in the car today. Man, I've never realized until now on how average the beats are. The good news is that it makes sound more appealing to today's crunk-era, bass-ridden tracks your always hearing on the radio. Will doesn't do that bad at all on the tracks but its just not our standards. Top 5 Beats.. 1. Tell Me Why 2. Loretta 3. Comin' to the Stage 4. I Wish I Made That 5. Lost & Found I also agree on how much of a let down "Chosen One" was. It's such a badly produced track I can't even believe FP rhymed such good lyrics over that crap. It sounds like a Born to Reign leftover.

I think they did include it on later versions on Homebase. The Ring My Bell(Mr. Lee's Radio Remix) is a hell of a lot better and is the video version. It's much faster and its like a club/dance track.

I'm sure Coconuts by the mall will have it at a great price.

That cover really is nothing special. If it was a "Code Red" era pic, then id be more excited I guess. The font is way to plain as well. However I will be getting this simply for "Brand New Funk" and "Jazzys Groove" remastered.

LL Cool J will last longer in the rap game than FP. FP's next album will come out 10 years from now thats how bad FP's rap "bug" and "desire" has gotten. LL Cool J will continue to bang out albums every two years which is what FP should and needs to do.

Parents Just Dont Understand is the truth. I've also had experience with my parents. About 2 years ago, we went to Coconuts which is a New and Used Music store. I got some CDs and one of them was 2pac's "Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z" album. My parents were pretty mad at me for getting that and I originally only liked 3 trax off of there. But I began to listen more and I love that CD. Now I'm older and they know the basic stuff I listen to and as long as I dont blast it and play it around them, then its alright. Give it some time man. Also, I wouldnt even bother buying edited versons of CDs. It disrupts the flow of the tracks.

It really bothers me how much FP is a hyprocrit. I've said it before but come on. "I've found the rapper in me now". Yeah okay, then GO BACK WITH JEFF. He says "me and jeff have been in the studio - out on tour..etc" but how come theres one JJFP track on L+F and none on Born to Reign? Its incredible how FP does not roll with Jeff. Jeff has a whole freakin studio and the ongoing desire to record, FP doesnt. Its pathetic. Its time for Will to just record and drop albums who cares if its mainstream or not. Make mixtapes - do somethin musically.

I think AJ needs to just search underground. That's what I been doin the last few months. You need to search for it, just cause some cats dont got a Gold or Platinum plaque or on radio, doesnt mean they aint good. One of my favorite groups of all-time is UGLY DUCKLING. They are like a new-skool Kid N Play. AJ, if you buy their new CD "Bang for the Buck" released in April - you'd instantly love it.

It can be done AJ, if you read the Legacy Recordings description in the other topic, it said it will bring us unreleased trax. Dont count it out man.

The cover image could be ALOT better. They should've used pix from the 90s with JJFP in the Starter Gear. Also the text could've better a hell of a lot better. Lets hope for 21 trax!

wow this is so weird...yesterday i was in bed listening to JJ+FP before i went to sleep and I was thinkin bout how Jive could release another compilation CD since they did it after every Will Smith album. And wow look what happens. This is gonna be a hot disc. I can sense it. #21 Tracks? WHOA! That tracklisting right there covers all the singles and hits pretty much which means theres room for more tracks considering tracks are missing from the tracklisting above! Wow i have such good feelings now about this. And every track will most likely be remasted and I can finally have "Jazzys Groove" remastered. Can't wait!
