WOW! FINALLY! Definatly watch this people! "The Things That U Do" video has been a hard to find rare treasure virtually forever. THANKS TIM FOR THE LINK. Its a classic JJ+FP video, them dressed in fly gear joking around with each other looking and spying on girls. What a great video - made me love the song even more. I say its one of the best music video by JJ+FP. Now if only someone could record this and post a link so we could download it to our hard drive. thatd be awesome.

I'm glad LL said No to that. Society is so pathetic and sad now that we have to watch other people's lives on TV.

NEW! LL Cool J - Freeze (Remix) ft. Lloyd Banks
DevilsJim89 replied to The Definition's topic in Caught in the Middle
I can definatly hear the beat to "In Da Club" in this song - its def. more towards the G-Unit side then LL Cool J. I don't know how I feel about this track. -
Happy Birthday man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

haha nice man i was just listening to that album a few nights ago myself. My all-time fav track on there is "Jazzy's Groove". Most of the tracks are real nice and that album is displaying FP's story-telling and rhyming ability line by line its amazing. Listen closely to his rhymes - just wow. "Numero Uno" and "Jeff Waz on the Beatbox" are also my favs.
-
Now to keep this respect going he must release an album this year or next year. Not wait another 3 freakin years. pathetic ...and he wonders why he loses respect.

I think it's time for FP to go to Def Jam. He'd fit in with LL. Def Jam is doing great work still with LL Cool J and hes another old school vet. His new album has been out only a couple weeks and already has a 2nd single. Thats awesome considering FP had a 2nd single like 8 months after his album dropped. What y'all think? I know this has been discussed before but FP would just be a great fit.

Just get them whichever becomes available first. Since I had to search for my albums at a local store, whichever i found first i bought. Its all worth it.

I just saw the "Freeze" video and I dont mind it. The track isn't too great in my opinion. Def Jam could've/should've released a much better track then "Freeze". It's just something about the song I don't like but its growing on me I guess.

They always keep checking - you just don't see how many copies it sold every year since its not in the top 200 or something. "He's the DJ, I'm the Rapper" was certified 3x Platinum in 1995.

Give me a break Lerk. Those videos are cool and they reflect the songs. The songs are typical party tracks and theres a clear difference between the kind of videos/songs FP does, and the crap out there on the radio and tv.

Great news however I wont be gettin my hopes too high like I have in the past years. I have a lot more music which I'm checking out but JJFP are like my fav of all-time so I'd love for them to forfill me, forill us with more positive music.

You know I was just chillin listenin to my MP3 Player in bed before I went to sleep last night and I was browsing through my songs and album and went in "Born to Reign" - I went to BSC(Nod Ya Head) and I was just listening to the word play FP does, its pretty damn good and funny. I love the line The best looking crime fighter since myself in part one hahah but in all seriousness though - this is a pretty decent track and I use to think the whole "Nod Ya Head" part was corny and wack but its a fun chill song. My potna Aaron and I love jammin to this track in the Summertime cause its got a banging beat to it as well. It was the beginning of the musical chapter of "unique" and "different" for Will and this song was a good track that came out from it. Props.

LL Cool J one of my favorite rappers ever recently dropped his 12th album called "Todd Smith". A lot people are trippin' on this album because its more RnB based produection. However I dont think LL has missed a beat. The absolute worst song on this disc is "Control Myself" - I just hate that song. There is pretty much a guest on each track but unlike FP's "Born to Reign" - it doesnt take away from LL's rapping. Songs like "Best Dress", "My Favorite Flavor" and "I've Changed" are just incredible songs. My favorite song on the whole CD though is tough to pick but it's definatly "What You Want" feat. Freeway. I don't listen to Freeway and never heard of him until now but he's decent on the track. I love this track because its the one track on the album (along with It's LL & Santana) that's old-school and classic gritty LL just dropping bombs. Awesome. Another track "We're Gonna Make it" is more of a gospel sounding track and its just amazing with Mary Mary on the hook belting out the vocals. LL says nothin gonna hold you back theres no limits im set to bring truth to rap - not gimmicks Man listen, heres the moral to the thesis y'all cats need jesus he put your life back together pick up the pieces word to the masses i heard God ask us for less fake rappers and more real pastors just wow. I rewinded that track so many times just for those lines. The whole song is moving but those tracks are amazing. Good job LL with this album - similar vien to "Mr. Smith" of '95 and I've been bumpin this album since it leaked online weeks ago but now I wanna see how y'all really feel about it.

They're all jokes. All 3 of them. I aint gonna lie I was bumping Bow Wow's CD last summer when it came out and FreshAzIMiz or however you spell I was bumpin' way before it was hot on radio - however his ridicoulsy large ego has made me hate him. ughhh.. Romeo is just wack on Nickelodeon with his show - too kiddy bop and his dad is just pushing his son just to make money off of him. Oh, and I highly doubt FP cares either way of who's dissin him and who's stickin up for him.

thanks for that news man!

How Does JJFP.com Rank among other sites
DevilsJim89 replied to dkny2kx's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
i think this site is definatly up there in top fan communities, i know though that like when i look for sites of another artist like LL, I expect another site like this cause I'm so use to it but however I find pages and i always expect better thanks to this site. Give the guy a round of applause - Tim is the man y'all. -
looks like our very own jazzy julie uploaded it i didnt know so thanks and thanks julie for doin it!

whoaaa!!! thanks for the link man! im already lovin this album! it has that slick waterered-down 90s sound of R&B thats got a great tempo. Reminds me of "Mr. Smith" a little bit. I like the majority of the tracks however "14 Shots to the Dome" will always be my favorite LL album. Best songs is "Favorite Flavor"(ft. Mary J), "Best Dress" and "I've Changed". I love how LL tears it apart on "What You Want" but worst tracks are "Control Myself" (sounds to much like a Ciara track) and "Freeze" (too damn slow - no flow to it). "#1 Fan" is a Loretta song spinoff ...hah. however this album is better than "10"..much better. this album is gonna be a great album to lay back and cruise to in the spring and summer.

How bout a Jazzy Jeff and Will Smith collabo album??? hmm..
-
I can't believe after the first track of B2R how much the album fell off. I remember the first listen back in July '02 and I wasn't impressed with it. It picked up with "How Da Beat Goes" and "Block Party" and a little with "Give Me Tonight". However four tracks don't make an album good. Its not what we fans expect to hear from the Fresh Prince.
