  1. My sister just told me today that "Switch" is always on the radio everyday. Its on more and more around here on local radio stations. We dont have any "big" radio stations but hey, any airplay is awesome. Its safe to say, "Switch" is FP's first big hit since "Wild Wild West".
  2. Lerkot man that was an awesome idea but damn bro, you need to get a life LOLOL!!!
  3. any updates on this Kev? lol i kno im buggin ya like crazy but ahh i wanna see this so badd!
  4. I guess my "Code Red" poster too is also kinda rare. Alot of the mp3 stuff on my PC is ultra rare that I got. Crazyy.
  5. I dont think it was a freestyle but I love how JJFP just keep rapping all over radio interviews. Westwood is cool and all but hes so annoying sometimes when JJFP are just kickin it with his stupid crazy shouting.
  6. "And In This Corner..." is my sometimes 3rd/4th favorite JJFP album. This album is really underrated but I guess you had to be down with JJFP back in '89 to feel this better. In '89 the rap world was in the beginining of a change, thats why this album didnt go platinum. I believe it sold 900,000. Maybe it woulda done better if it was released in 1986 or something. "Then She Bit Me" is my least-favorite JJFP track. It's so boring to listen to. "I Think I Can Beat Mike Tyson" was a bad choice for a lead single. It was a moderate hit and the video was hillarious but just not something to play at a party or have a good time. "Jazzys Groove" was my favorite JJFP song when I first got this album Classic JJFP. "Numero Uno"/"Too Damn Hype"/"Jeff Was On The Beatbox" should've been the 1st single. Those songs are amazing. FP is just spittin fire on those tracks with Jazzy backing him up. This was the album with more story-telling than anything. It also seems like it didn't really fit in with the time and current state of rap. If they used more beats like on "Men Of Your Dreams" then maybe it would've done better.
  7. The rarest thing in my collection is my 7 track "Twinkle Twinkle(I'm Not A star)" CD single released in '94. I got tons of rare mp3s though on my computer.
  8. ahh man JJFP on Westwood!!!! Holla at Tim in Austraila haha awesome! JJFP were awesome and funny as always. Jeff was just hillarious "we need that fluff or ima bring my turntables up in here" ..."the track is fire, the fire department be up in here" LOLOL!!! I Wish I Made That/Swagga (DJ Jazzy Jeff's Remix) needs to be released!!!!!! thats so dope!
  9. ahh man did anyone tape this video for us?
  10. haha thats really cool - now just change the slide background colors to black then set the animation timer and its even better!
  11. That performance by JJFP was awesome. I love how they did "I Wanna Rock" again but this time Jeff was completely tearing it up. I love hearing that with FP cheering him on! "Go Jazzy Go Jazzy Go!!" ahhh I wish I was there and the show was longer. They are so creative too. Who woulda thought "Switch" and the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme blended so well. Anything blends well with Jeff doing it. I'm starting to hate though how JJFP are using 50cent/G-Unit/Game beats. Thats kinda jacking other people's stuff. It was cool at first and still sounds great but just needs the original beat.
  12. werd up... another brotha from jersey!!!! reppin' n-e-w jers in tha houuuuuseee! lol
  13. werd up Wes. me and you same age.
  14. I'm starting to memorize all the words myself. I'm constantly like singing it when I'm not listening to it. Easiest Song to Memorize: Switch Hardest Song to Memorize: Party Starter
  15. ah damn im not sure if i can get this...can someone tape this? record this? MAXFLY WHERE ARE U! ? lol
  16. I also thought the same but its good because it doesnt wanna make himself seem full of himself compared to others in his class (LL, Rakim, KRS, Slick, Dougie..etc). Hes got love for them all.
  17. I would choose that too...but "Coming to the Stage" would be another fine choice. How bout Green Day's "Time of your life" song? but that might be a lil sad.
  18. I like the "Brand New Funk" (Live @ Nassau Coliseum in '88)" also known as the "video version" where Jeff is just tearing it up like crazy. I love any song with Jeff scratching...or any scratches in a rap song. It adds so much. My favorite sound.
  19. thats a great little gem there! the capital rap session is a dope show...JJFP tear it up like crazy!
  20. Lets hope. I feel "Switch" has paved the way for FP back into rap but now we need something else.
  21. "Lost & Found" appears to be slipping. Remember how "Born to Reign" debuted at #13 then quickly somehow disappeared off the charts faster than anything. Thats why it wasn't backed by a second single until 4 months later! I think the time is now for "Tell Me Why" to be released. I don't care now about if "Switch" goes #1. It's number 1 on the 100 Billboard Digital Tracks - meaning downloads. It's not powerful enough. "Tell Me Why" needs to be released. Look at 50 cent, he had "Candy Shop" and "Disco Inferno" closely released together but those two tracks battled each other for #1. Release "Tell Me Why" within this month then get "Party Starter" out by mid-late May. It just has to be done for this album to gain more success. No lieing around waiting to see what happens, action needs to be taken now. "Party Starter" is a freakin anthem, its a MUST to be released. Come on Overbrook/Interscope - get the ball rolling again. No SLACKING!
  22. No, your absolutely correct man. He's just been called a sellout because of the measure of success he's had. People envy and hate him for it in the rap game. Yet, he expanded the platform and paved the way for rappers in commericals, shows, movies..etc.
  23. love that song! JJFP - Takin It To The Top So do I! Its my fav 2pac song! 2pac- The Streetz R Deathrow
